Nice place. Narayani Temple is dedicated to ten armed goddess Narayani or Parvathi and is located in Narayani village situated near Khalikote, Odisha, India. The temple is popular for Durga Puja and a fair held in the Indian month of Chaitra. The temple was renovated by the zamindars of Khalikote in the early 18th century. The style of the temple is a Khakhara Deula, like Vaital Deula. It is supposed to have existed before 12th Century AD. The temple is known for the scenic beauty of the surrounding countryside' including Chilika Lake.

On national highway passing through Bhubaneswar towards Chennai, this old temple is situated in Ganjam district of Odisha, Very close to Chilika lake. The temple is famous for its scenic location on a hill surrounded by thick forest, some 4 kms from the highway. It is a popular picnic spot for locals and devotees keep on thronging in quite a good number. It is goddess Durga temple and quite primitive in look. It takes some steps to reach main part of temple but it is not very steep. In rains, some streams pass through sideways of temple. Good to visit at least once when passing through the highway.

It's a cool and beautiful place in the forest. Most popular for Picnic. There is a waterfall and you can visit the origin as well. For picnic definitely this is a good place . If you are planning just to visit the place then max 30 min is enough to visit this place.

Nice religious place to visit with elderly and for . There is a new temple for which we have to walk again for 200m from the actual temple. Don't forget to visit both temples.
