Absolutely beautiful. Nice quite peaceful area. Water is wonderful to listen to as it trickle down the rocks. Excellent place for photoshoots. Small pools for a little swim or dip. Tips. Best time to go is low tide. Use sneakers to come down the hill if you want a close up of the river. It's a little steep going down but it's worth it. Small kids would enjoy looking close up at the fish in the shallows.

The Joe's River Trail is a gem. It on the coast along the path of an old train line. It feels reasonably safe (no hiking boots or special clothes needed though children would need to be attended given the lack of barriers and sudden drop offs). I still manages to feel that there was no unnecessary tampering to the site. I appreciate the efforts of Trailways Team and the Tourism Investment Development Coorporation in creating this.
