I would highly recommend this place for their rum tasting event! 6 rum tastings and a few surprises at the end! It was so fun! The rum sommelier we had, Dorothy, was just a pure delight! She was so funny, and kept us all laughing but she was also very knowledgeable of their products and the process of rum making! The cost was so responsible, I bet it barely covers the rum we drank! We are definitely going back for another round with friends. Just eat before you go as there is no food there other that chips.

We were staying 9mins away so went a number of times to try the various exceptional casks available. In short this is an amazing distillery producing my favourite rums. The tour is highly recommended. The history and beauty of the distillery is impressive. The staff are all great and looked after us. We didn't book (tour) but it is worth giving them a heads up to get a place. Pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality rare rums you can sip (exceptional cask) A tasting of 3 exceptional cask bottlings was $20USD and the bar tender talks through your choosing. A great experience!

Absolutely brilliant experience. We did not book a tour, so just wandered around the distillery. There was information on signs, and the guys working there all seemed really friendly. The tasting with Leah ($40 for nine runs) was amazing - she was informative and fun. Definitely recommend doing this (perhaps by taxi!) rather than paying for an expensive tour elsewhere.

Hands down *THE* best distillery tour in Barbados, not even close. The staff were friendly, fun, and insightful, especially Tamisha. We learnt a great deal about the rum making process, and impressed with just how much they reuse from the process including the CO2! ... And of course the rum tasting is great, who can complain? 5/5 all around

Not to slight the other 'distillery' tour on the island (which isn't actually through a working distillery), but this is the real deal. Absolutely worth the drive or taxi ride out into the country, Foursquare offers a self-guided tour through the distillery, explaining the process of making rum in the environs where it actually happens. The tasting room offers an opportunity to sample the range of their wares and offers for sale some extraordinary expressions of their rums, featuring some, extra premium, top-shelf and unique rums (Zinfandel barrel aged, for example) Make a day of it and visit Foursquare on a trip out to the oft-overlooked east/Atlantic coast to see Bathsheba and Cherry-Tree Hill.

Fantastic distillery tour - our guide Dario was great, took a lot of time to answer questions and show us around. The rum tasting with Leah in the bar was superb. I've done a lot of distillery tours and can safely say you get more than your money's worth in samples, which encouraged us to buy a few bottles. Of course the biggest draw is the exceptional rum, in my view the best on the island. Highly recommend.

Dating back to being a sugar cane factory in 1720. Informative tour and friendly staff. Pick the exclusive option to sample rare rums. Only takes an hour and is an important part of Bajan history.

Foursquare Rum - The legendary distillery that is winning spirit competitions around the world - is an amazing, educational, inexpensive and worthwhile visit for anyone with the slightest appreciation for rum. This is a self guided tour that is about 20 miles from Oistins and about 40 miles from Holetown. There is no entrance fee to explore the public areas of the grounds and working distillery. Information is posted regarding the operations and history of the site, which is the oldest Sugar Cane plantation on the island. The anticipated rum tasting is held in a old building from the 1700s, punctuated by shelves of almost every rum ever released under the brand name. The amount of sampling options are enough to make any Rum aficionado jealous and prices for doing both a 5-bottle tasting, and trying additional releases, were extremely reasonable considering most Exceptional Cask releases sell for $150+ when you can find it. In fact, we requested a swap of some bottles in the tasting (w/ extra charge) so that we could taste their very best against the more accessible releases. Compared to the Mount Gay distillery tour, this one is very relaxed, without expectation, and everyone at the property was very friendly and eager to chat about their responsibilities & opinions. Without an entrance fee, compared to $80usd for the Mount Gay St. Lucy tour, this experience is by far the better deal and the rum is better too. :) Try both if you can, but don't miss Foursquare if you have to choose only one. See you again soon to try 2022's new releases!

Nice tour at your own pace - very friendly with workers stopping to explain what they were doing. Excellent bar offering rum tasting with very knowledgeable bar staff that talk you through each rum. Feels much more personal than other rum tours - defintely work a visit.

This is definitely a worthwhile tour. They are located on beautifully landscaped grounds and the location takes you off the beaten path to explore the parish of St. philip, which has lots to offer. Sampling some of the rums at the end was my favourite part. However the educational tour was also useful and with very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!!!

Visited Foursquare rum distillery and had a tour and tasting lead my Tamisha. She was very knowledgeable, we got to see all the workings of the distillery and it’s history. I cannot recommend it enough! The BEST rum tour I’ve ever been on!!🥃🥃🥃

Was blown away with this tour today, it was incredible. After experiencing this tour and the history of this distillery I am so happy I cancelled the mount gay one. Our tour guide was brilliant how such a young man obtained so much knowledge and facts about the history of four square is incredible. I hope people take the time out to check this tour out! Highly recommend, we got to try over 6 different rums (all included in the tour). Also received a free bottle of 14 year old rum for answering a question right 😍. Will definitely go again 5 stars wish I could of rated higher.

We didn’t schedule a tour so when we showed up we were able to just wander the grounds. The up side is that you can wander all through the fermentation and distillation plant and the attached warehouse. There were some good plaques and photos with info. Down side was no staff to answer questions or give any additional history. No a big deal, it was certainly worth stopping.

Definitely one of the best distillery tours I've had. We had Tamisha as our guide and she was funny and informative. She was able to answer almost all of our questions and was honest if she wasn't sure of the answer. The grounds are beautiful and the history very interesting. Would definitely recommend the tastings as well, absolutely worth the price to try some amazing rums that are very hard to find. Extra special shout-out to Janelle in the store, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Such a great experience!

We took the ZR bus from Oistins to Six Cross Roads, then walked here (a fairly pleasant 20-minute walk in March, though most folks take a taxi or rent a car). We arrived early and wandered around the dilapidated outdoor museum and amusement park, presumably a victim of the pandemic. The tour was interesting, and the distillery smelled amazing. The tour guide (Tamisha) was extremely personable and got some audience participation. After the tour we had a tasting, and the rum was quite tasty!

Great tour with a bonafide expert. Great tasting and rum for sale at a good price.

I had a interesting and informative guided tour with Tamera taking in the making and ageing process of Foursquare rum, as well as their efforts to reduce their environmental impact. I then tried some rums especially selected for me (as an confessed rum nerd) by Dario. A really great experience. If you can arrive by local bus and walk into Foursquare up the drive through the cane, it really sets you up for your visit.

We took the tour and both tastings, general and premium, a couple of days ago. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Great time spent learning and tasting. Tamera was our guide and her knowledge of the distilling process and Foursquare’s history was excellent. Thank you for a great experience.

Great experience here, Dario was our guide. Nice to learn about the history of this distillery. The tasting after is generous and property is nice to explore. We spent about 2 hours here all in.

Beautiful property. We did a self-guided tour and loved moving at our own pace. Good prices on tasting. Lea took great care of us and we will definitely be back because of her.

Tour was informative and very educational. Our tour guide Tamesha was very great would definitely do again . My favorite part was the rum tasting at the end .

Stopped by here early in search of a specific rum. You have the option to walk around distillery and take a self guided tour rather than with a group which was still very interesting. Would definitely recommend the tasting! We did a tasting at a different distillery on the island and Foursquare was superior. 10/10 for Tamisha!! She accommodated a 10AM tasting (right when they open) and made it very informative and fun.

An interesting place to visit, you can walk around yourself without a guide and read the plaques detailing the history and process. A guided tour with tasting is $45 Barbados. Or $25 without the tour. The amount you are given for the taster is not particularly generous. I would have preferred to save my money and buy an entire bottle starting at around the same price. The female bar tender wasn't very enthusiastic either, seemed more preoccupied on the big cruise ship tour groups soon to arrive. A missed opportunity to really reflect the passion you have for your product. A shame.

A large distillery with a great location in the St.Philip parish. The Seale family has done a marvelous job with this place. You may see the whole process of making rum, and there is also the Copper Still Bar, with rum tasting. I’ve done it twice, and both Janell and Lea were amazing. Thank you so much for the experiences, and for being able to buy the bottle I didn’t have in my cellar. See you again soon!

We have just had a great tour and tasting at Foursquare Distillery and the Copperstill Rum Bar. We have been on the other island rum tours and this one is by far the best. Enjoyable and informative. You actually get to see where the rum is produced and Dario was a great guide. Thank you
