Worst meal in Spain, but several points of value here. The staff seemed to have tried, but by a combination of inattentiveness, and lack of cleanliness, failed to live up to expectations of the many venues around this. First, it took longer than 10 minutes after sitting down to get any attention, while other large groups had dedicated waiters making drinks for them at their tables. It finally took the owner(?) asking if we got our drinks to get things moving. We were aware that service in Europe is on a different pace, but the other tables getting attention (and olives) was something that just didn't apply to us. We had hoped it was a matter of understaffing, busy tourist times, or just bad luck, and like many places, sought to give the benefit of the doubt. Alas, the situation declined from there. We had to again seek the owners(?) attention to order food;. He must have noticed that we were waiting a while. We ordered shrimp, meatballs, patatas bravas, tomato bread, and a green salad. The green salad never arrived. Fortunately, we were not charged for it (more on that later). The shrimp had none of the chili or aioli advertised and were plain. The meatballs had a hair on them (see picture), and we questioned whether they were fully cooked (see picture). The patatas bravas were ok, the tomato bread was not like it showed on the menu (soggy, wide bread with tomato jam), but not horribly worse than what we had elsewhere. The red wine was good, and worth the price. Finally, we got a bill that wasn't accurate, listing calamari, no green salad (yay), no meatballs (?), and fewer drinks than we ordered (um, yay?) Honestly, you have so many other incredible options in Barcelona, why use your time here? It masquerades as a tourist trap for backpackers. My partner also took issue with the staff wearing masks beneath their noses and chins. I get that in a pandemic, it sucks to wear masks, but it signals a lack of attentiveness to cleanliness (see hair in food)

If you like this review give it a 👍 Location: close to the Rambla, in the Gothic part of town. It's a bar with food.. Food: Simple Spanish food. The mixed Tapas (€20) was tasteful and of good size. Staff: our waitress was very friendly and fast. Prices: €20 for the mixed Tapas, €8,95 for salad and they charged €5 a drink (wine & Tinto de verano) which to me seems a little to much. If you pay ask for the check to see so you're shure you pay for what you got.

I had a cocktail workshop at Travellers Nest Bar. I was alone but at the of the evening not anymore😉. Great bartender who had everything well prepared, 4 cocktails were more than enough, well explained with some cool tricks and the tapas foid were delicious. I would definitely recommend the workshop 👍

This was an amazing experience!!! I did the cocktail class and Nathan is a is a good ole time!!!’ Talk about an Irish man who knows what he is doing. I really enjoyed myself and he did a great job. His explanation was great, his sense of humor was funny, and he was overall phenomenal!! Book Nathan for your tour or if you just visit him in the bar. It was my birthday and he gave me a baby Guinness shot and he didn’t have too but it was delicious. Great bartender. Book the class and have funn!! But you have to book Nathan!

Went for a cocktail workshop guided by a charismatic Irish dude called Nathan. Amazingly fun and actually very informative session, even if quite fast paced for four (different) cocktails included. He told us if we were to leave a bad review, to reference Jason instead. I must assume it’s the guy who cleans toilet, because that one is just horrendous. Either way, thanks Nathan!

The tapas selections we had were so amazing that I liked every bit of it (unfortunately, I can't remember the names of the dishes). I would love to come back to this place.
