Best Bar in Barcelona, HANDS DOWN! The guys really take care of you and the beers are always pouring GREAT! Big shout out to Steve (my son) and Heinrich (grandson) hahaha! You guys rock. Thanks for the great hospitality and I really enjoyed your bar. Also, the food is A++. Although I was mostly on a liquid diet LOL.. I've told all my friends from the US about this place and they will definitely visit when traveling to Spain. Will definitely be back real soon! CHEERS!!!

The manager Dave, a Scottish man that sits by the bar works tirelessly every day to ensure a great authentic Irish pub experience. His knowledge of the bar game is unrivaled which is why this is the best bar in not only Barcelona, but also the world.

The drinks were decent and they definitely knew how to pour a pint of Guinness, however the staff was rather unpleasant to say the least. First one of the lads behind the bar kept trying to hit on one of my mates making her feel extremely uncomfortable and when she kept turning down his advances they started to make us feel unwelcome and rushed us to leave the bar. The entire time the atmosphere felt very toxic and unwelcoming.

As a cultured man that enters places of scran with an open mind, I must say I was truly distort with my experience at this pub. Although, the Chilli nachos were a delight and provost some of the best I have had, what came next was an abysmal storm of disappointment. We all ordered the “signature” Jack Daniels burger with one exception for the chicken burger. The burgers took a long time to come out, only to be faced with a miserable pile of loot-warm chips and a sad little burger. I felt violently ill after my food and although the server was very nice, it was a total shipwreck or a meal and the complications of my recently deceased fish did not compliment the experience.

Had an unreal time at the shamrock. Savage pull on the Guinness. Had a burger that was unreal as well. Service is really good and has a real nice Irish buzz across the whole pub. Pool table, screens for sports.. it’s literally the perfect spot Thanks lads!

Was in Barcelona for three days. Around the block from our hotel was the Shamrock. Ate there all three nights. The food was good, try the fish and chips. Being from the USA, we appreciated someone who spoke English. I can say it was a most friendly bar. Also the beer selection was excellent.

Best pub in the city. Good beer and great people.

Best to avoid this place. Went in for beers and the bartender 'lost' my friends credit card. Then, rather than apologizing, said, since we gave it to the other bartender we just had to wait till he came back from break. After about 5 minutes, the card was somehow found. Shoddy practice at best. Needless to say, that card will be canceled asap.

I really wanna give this spot the full 5 stars because the atmosphere and the staff are unreal, so lovely .. but the prices make me feel like I'm back in Ireland drinking in temple bar (though maybe that's intentionally lol) defo will go back . best Irish bar in BCN for sure

Probably the best Irish bar in Barcelona, we watched the Ireland v France 6 Nations game and the atmosphere was great with a good mix of nationalities to make it entertaining.

A fine Irish Pub. We stopped twice during our visit for a few Pints. Friday they offered no food. Saturday they had appetizers in the afternoon.

The bacon and sausage sandwich cooked by chef Kieran made me feel like I was back home in the bogs of Sligo, sitting down for tae. Great service from everyone, will be back!

As the bar was next to our hotel, we "popped" in a couple of times. Very friendly and great service, although at the airport the next day did wonder if "popping" in wasn't a bit of a mistake. But fantastic bar with friendly atmosphere and superb music

Cozy Irish pub, open until late night, and they have hot drinks also like tea and coffee. No hot drink is available now in this time, but they have. Price is good here also.

Great little pub, real Irishmen behind the bar who know how to pull a pint and have a chat. Good pleace to watch a Celtic game also if it's on the box

  • 1/5 Alice S. 4 months ago on Google
Their boss must be a namby-pamby nitwit because apparently making unserious comments or jokes about Irish men results in being excluded from their bar. Pathetic man who can't laugh about its own population even-though if was just old chestnut. I suppose that accusation of pun is enough of an excuse to ostracise an already marginalised woman which they don't feel comfortable with, and we know why… Pathetic. Look at the other reviews by the way. Many customers are disappointed. People pretending to working here are a disgrace to the profession; give me The Green Room in Rambla del Poblenou, 20, anytime.

Big terrace and decent inside for watching sport. Food's ok. We had some tapassy kind of stuff. The fish fingers were the best thing we had. Beer was cold. The waitress was nice. In a colourful area with lots of colourful people about.

Longstanding Irish pub of Barcelona. First went 22 years ago, hasn't changed much. Good for a quiet pint during the week. Food available and ample selection of beer on tap or bottle.

Great place to go if you’re looking for somewhere to watch sport. They didn’t show the champions league game I was hoping for but understandable with the other matches at the time. Premier League matches shown at the weekend. Conor was really nice. Drinks were good and the bar food is decent.

Really liked the place! It is a very original and authentic place for me, which seems to be popular among tourists. I enjoyed watching soccer games there! Besides, you can drink also outside, a lively and social area to have fun.

Very tight squeeze when busy but that's a consequence of being an excellent bar, very reasonably priced with efficient and friendly staff. Would have been nice if tables were cleared quicker but that's a more minor staffing issue.

Cool authentic Irish pub in the middle of Barcelona. I'm a local, regular client 👌

  • 5/5 Alyss Mc F. 4 years ago on Google
Absolutely fantastic : the beer is fresh, the service is fast and friendly, and on sunday nights, musicians play Irish songs live, right in the bar <3 They have a great range of whisky too, and the nachos are so good they're sinful ! Five stars is not quite enough.
