Loro is our fave spot in Barri Gotic! We've been coming here for years and it has become our almost nightly spot to drop by for drinks before or after dinner. Thye have a great selection of of beers, wine and cocktails; there are always fun and interesting people to chat with; it has a nice cozy vibe and most of all Jamie (the owner) is just a fantastic, fun and welcoming person. Never have I ever.... been to such a autentic bar. It is a center of international guests. The bar is a very pleasent and safe spot in the rush of Barcelona. The styling of the bar is mindblowing and the way they have created different spaces inside the bar is amazing. The bartenders are professional, smiling and very polite - yet humorous. If you are very lucky you will stumble into the owner; Jamie. She is the most warm-hearted person in Catalonia. Always very helpfull, very caring and she has the best recommendations. If you see her, tell her the ambassador misses her. Go there and have a rest, a blast or a talk. You will not regret it. *order something you never tried eg. a 'Don't ask don't tell'. Enjoy!

Stopped in to Loro Bar for a quick drink before my solo dinner reservation. The owner, Jamie, is wonderfully welcoming and was a pleasure to chat with - she makes an absolutely DELISH passion fruit mojito with real passion fruit purée :) I can’t wait to come back again someday soon! Xoxo
