We had a great dinner evening at Gourmet Sensi! I was invited by friends for a birthday dinner and without a doubt it was a great culinary experience! We made it pretty easy and ordered at first the fish tapas, then the meat tapas and had a selection of veggie tapas. My favorite was the pulpo, but it was a hard decision since they were all delicious! Big thank you to the stuff - in the kitchen and also the waiters, we really enjoyed our visit at Gourmet Sensi!

Tucked away down an alleyway masquerading as a street, Sensi is a relatively small spot that punches above it's weight class. Service is excellent, despite being handled only by two servers and the hostess. Attention is enough without being overbearing. On to the food. We got 6 tapas and a dessert. We were told right at the beginning that the recommendation is 2-3 per person, and I found this to be spot on. We ordered the cheese plate (yum), cauliflower (also yum), the octopus (may have been the best I've ever had), catch of the day with pumpkin puree (possibly the weakest dish, and it was still excellent), truffle ravioli (hot damn), and the braised lamb (in the words of my wife - the best lamb I might have ever had). Friendly staff, excellent food, in a small, somewhat cramped, but well appointed space. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable evening, friendly staff. Presentation was great! But there’s a minimum 3tapas per person, a bit much considering the menu is on the heavier side. Food was above average but not extraordinary (Ceviche n mussels were our fav). It feels like a place I would much rather enjoy in say, NYC, as it loses the “homie” /“authentic” touch of the tradition tapas joint.

One of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten, in Barcelona or elsewhere! Service was outstanding, prices were extremely reasonable for how high quality the food was. Decor and atmosphere was brilliant. Would recommend booking in advance - and ordering the pork cheeks! We also went with vegetarian friends who had a wide range of options to choose from which can be hard to find in tapas restaurants! If I could give 6 out of 5 stars, I would.

We ordered 10 tapas between three of us and left full after a cheese plate & fondant to share. The lamb was outstanding, as were the chorizo, calamari and scallops. Service was excellent, the best we experienced after 5 days in Spain and our waiter, Claudio was great fun and very attentive! Thanks for a great evening.

We were not disappointed and greatly enjoyed the visit to Gourmet Sensi. With sauces and flavors from around the world, typical tapas dishes took on a new look and taste Razor clams with a Thai style mustardy colored sauce is one example. Came here first in 2017, and went back last week - even better than I remembered. Really excellent, unique tapas and lovely bar. Staff were very accommodating and though the food is amazing the atmosphere is still fun and relaxed.

And the two desserts the cheesecake and the vegan fondant were to die for. This will be my go to restaurant every time I’m in Barcelona.

Chicken leg has a kick of spice- tender and juicy! Octopus was a stand out, quite chewy but good smoky meaty flavor alongside unique parsnip mousse. Salmon had interesting tartare custard like interior with beautiful presentation!!

We struggled to find it with iphone maps but it’s because we didn’t walk round a corner enough and ended up doing a strange circle. Atmosphere was great as soon as we walked in, the waiters were so attentive and on the ball even though it was busy! Food, we had a little Spanish salami platter with some bread and I really enjoyed this. Next we had the courgette with z’atar and goats cheese, I found this really fresh and tasty but thought something was a little too salty. My partner is not normally a fan of anything with goats cheese but he really liked this dish so something definitely worked! You must try the beef and foie canelon if you go with truffle bechamel, holy moly it was sooo good it made me wish we ordered another pasta dish! We also had the celeriac millfuelle, it was certainly interesting, I thought it packed a punch of flavour which was fantastic if you like your kind of Thai/Japanese katsu limey flavours, although it didn’t taste like a typical katsu sauce. My partner wasn’t a fan of it. We also had the catch of the day fish, the fish was very nicely cooked, i wasn’t blown away by the cumin tomato sauce (we absolutely love curries over in England) but my partner really liked it - I thought such a nice fish would go better with other more classic sauces, but it was nice. If we went again I’d definitely get some other actual meat dishes like lamb or pork that we know we love, because we saw others getting served them and they looked absolutely insane! Overall, amazing place and we would definitely go again to try some other stuff on their gorgeous menu. After five dishes between us pair, our bellies were full we had no space for dessert. Just book in advance to make you get a chance to eat their food, and order stuff you know you enjoy eating anyway! With two drinks each as well, to be honest the overall price was really fair!

The space is very nice, right on a corner with lots of windows out to the cute little mainly pedestrian street. A very cool modern interior as well. Our server, a guy who I cannot remember his name, was super attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. They have a creative menu not just the typical tapas; our faves were the Shrimp croquetes with saffron and orange mayonnaise; "Falso" zucchini raviolis stuffed with tabbouleh, goat cheese sauce, sun-dried tomatoes and almond; Fresh truffle ravioli in a parmesan cream, scented with truffle oil (we ordered this twice!); and the Spinach crepe, salmon tataki, cinnamon, pistachio, mascarpone sauce & confit tomatoes. Oh and of course their Iberico ham was delish! They have a great wine list as well, and for a high-end spot the prices were very reasonable.
