An amazing, unique bar in Barcelona. If you ever want to spend a nice evening in a uniquely designed bar, this is the place to go. Amazing staff that tailor every cocktail to your need and serve it with a smile on their face. The quiet atmosphere allows for nice conversations with your friends and family while enjoying the best cocktails I personally ever had. I'm a seasoned world traveler, and I must say, this is one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! From the first moment, the passion of Senior Nacho, the owner, was palpable. The restaurant's design, adorned with unique artifacts from different parts of the world collected over 25 years, added a beautiful backdrop to our meal. We were entertained with the storytelling of some of these pieces, which further enriched our dining experience. The restaurant offers two tasting menus: an 8-course menu for €72 and a 12-course menu for €120. Initially, we opted for the 8-course option with a mini cocktail/wine pairing for an additional €38. Even as an irregular drinker, I found their cocktail creations a worthy addition to the menu. The first course consisted of Normandy oysters served with imperial caviar and a choice of four different sauces. The freshness of the oysters was outstanding, and the ability to pick different sauces to match our preferences was a nice touch (we especially enjoyed the vinaigrette). The second course was smoked salmon marinated with beets, served with a beer mustard sauce and wasabi fish eggs. A mini pine tree plant was torched at our table to infuse the air with a lovely scent, enhancing our enjoyment of the smoked salmon. At this point, we decided to upgrade to the full 12-course menu with drink pairings for an additional €55. Without revealing the entirety of the meal, let's just say it was a truly magical experience! Overall, I highly recommend choosing the full experience with drink pairings if you have the opportunity. I believe this is one of the top restaurants in Spain. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my visit and can't wait to return!

Very great vibe and decor. Cocktails are high quality and well constructed. Maybe the best Pisco sour I’ve had and have had many around the world. Highly recommended beetroot negroni was slightly vinegar for me. Owner was very present with clients and supporting bar staff.

We went two nights in a row, the first for cocktails and the second for the tasting menu paired with cocktails and wine. The owner, Nacho, is incredibly dedicated to both his food as well as his cocktails, and everything has an interesting story. Prices aren't low, but seem very reasonable for the quality that you get. Definitely an experience that you will not forget.

Fun cocktails that taste great, professional bartenders that introduce you to the cocktails, nice ambience and a beautiful interior. This is the perfect place to have drink if you're a cocktail lover. The cocktails are presented in entertaining containers and some of them are really a bit of a show. This was one of my favourite bar experiences during my holiday in Barcelona.

Well, weird I found that spot while trying to get just a couple of drinks. This is not a normal drink spot, it’s a spirits experience. The staff was very attentive, they took the time to explain the complex drinks, trying to understand what we like and the usual stuff we drink, to then,go and make something amazing. We had two different drinks, and everything was thought out, from the foam of the drink, to the cocktail itself, the spoon, and the cup, where all in synchrony. I guess the main bartender was also the owner, because the way he cared about the service, you could tell he was involved. I mean, crazy amazing place.

Excellent cocktails and service! If there were 6 stars I would definitely give it. The Tiramisu cocktail was the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my life! Food was also great!

This is the bar you need to go to at Barcelona. Excellent drinks and wonderful service. The place is classically decorated, great place for a date night or just chill out with friends. Absolutely loved the tasting menu here. Paired with their cocktails, it makes for a beautiful food experience. Every dish and it’s pairing has been planned and presented meticulously and symbolized perfection on a plate. Would highly recommend this to everyone looking for a food adventure!

Hands down. THE BEST FOOD experience of my life. The prefix menu of Earth, Fire, Wind, & Water was skillfully paired with out of this world drinks, made by their master mixologist, Guillermo. Ignacio, The Alchemix owner, led us through a food journey of the ages inspired by his journey throughout the world. The story that came with each meal submersed you more and more into the mind of a true Alchemist. As he explained what the mixologist and chef have fused together that brings your taste buds to its knees, and leaves you giggling like a little school girl out loud. Meeting Chef Juan at the end of our journey was the end cap of what I would call a "Perfect Night". This is a MUST visit if you're in Barcelona.

If you are looking for a cocktail bar with truly a UNIQUE experience, this is the one. From the velvet rope at the door, to the infused water, the extra effort in every single cocktail, the speakeasy twist in the middle of the experience with the blue light - all truly thought out and was a fantastic experience. Would 10/10 recommend. Will be back if I travel to Barcelona again.

Popped over and sat at the bar on a recent trip to Barcelona with my mom. Crazy coincidence… the bartender was the same bartender from a cocktail bar I went to FIVE years ago on another trip. He was quirky and fun and a great bartender so I remembered him. I am blanking on his name but he is a blonde from Estonia. Erik maybe? Anyways… we ran the gambit in food and drinks. Everything from Gin to Whiskey. All the food items have a wonderful story behind them and presented so well. Atmosphere is of course dark and moody. Love all the little touches.Very craft. Highly recommend.

We just happened to find this place - a few minutes walk away from our hotel. We didn't expect too much, as we've never had a tasting menu with cocktail pairings (usually wine), but my god...it. was. incredible. Each dish was flavourful, and texturally interesting. The cocktail pairings were spectacular. The coconut-based one, wow - I could drink that forever! We found the ravioli to be decent when compared to the other delicious dishes. The dessert was also a little too sweet but still enjoyable. The standout was the lobster cone. The service was one of the best we've had in all of Barcelona. The owner was very welcoming, and explained the dishes really well. You can tell he has his heart in this and our servers were warm and knowledgeable! We couldn't ask for more in terms of service. The ambience was immaculate. We went quite early, so it almost felt like a private dining experience when we began. Soon enough, people started trickling in. The bar area was full by the time we left. Overall, our favourite dining and drinking experience in BCN. We tried to go the following day for drinks but they were closed!! I might just need to come back to Barcelona for the third time 🤩 GO HERE!!!

Really good dining experience. Cocktails are delicious, and food is excellent. Both the 70 euro and the 100 euro menus are good- you will not leave hungry. The old fashioned was pretty mediocre, but the rest of the cocktails were great especially paired with food.

This dining experience has been one of the best of my entire life. The food was mouthwatering and the mini cocktails played with flavors of the dishes much better than any wine pairing that I have had. I am still talking about the smoked salmon and the eel with a chocolate glaze and charred at the table weeks later.

A chic and charming place. You have the option of having a snack or going straight to the tasting menu. We opted for snacks. The cocktails are very elaborate, the presentation is sublime, the service is attentive at all times, helpful and ready to answer any questions. We also had the salmon toast, ravioli, suckling pig sandwich all exquisite. It is recommended above all for a different kind of cocktails in a quiet and pleasant setting. Thank you for the exceptional service.

This place deserves full stars for the effort and quality of the menu put into Alchemix. The efforts and quality which has gone into this bar is impressive. The venue is beautiful. The quality of the food and drinks are impressive. I honestly have to say, but mayne for some- the food prices are a little bit high (so some people might complain about the price) but I think the quality is definitely worth it. I recommend this bar for the experience. I also recommend trying the tasting menu to get the full experience of the effort which has gone into the food and cocktails. The beetroot negroni and white choc truffle pisco sour are some of the best cocktails I've ever tried. I'll see you all again soon. Keep up the good work!

An experience I will not forget. Run by a man who knows his drinks, one who has designed a menu to impress. I mentioned my fancy was a martini. What a martini to remember. Maybe two. One with mazcal and spice one with caviar and pine..... I hope you can enjoy this place like I definitely did.

Great cocktails and excellent service. They aim to have a different experience while still drinking old and new classics. A lot of small twists and details on the servings. We had a spiced old fashion and a tiramisu expresso martini. Not as expensive as it looked. Drinks are around 13eur. Recommended for a treat beyond the regular cañas.

Amazing! We went for the full tasting menu, which was uqiquite pricey but it was very nice. The highlight is that they paired the dishes with mini cocktails for us! We're not wine drinkers so finding a tasting menu where they pair their food with cocktails was a first for us. Loved the experience and the service and our waiter was amazing!!

One of the best gastronomy and cocktail experiences in BCN! The staff are awesome and the live music with jazz/blues guitarist was perfect!

Nice decor and atmosphere. The cocktail menu is a bit short in my opinion, but the ones we tried were prerty good. My favorite was the "white trufa pisco sour" There are several really good cocktail bars in Barcelona, and from all of them The Alchemix was the most expensive with their 14€/cocktail prices.
