It
is
hard
to
beat
the
view
from
this
restaurant,
a
beautiful
beach
and
ocean
breeze.
The
food
was
amazing
and
a
variety
of
Catalan
dishes,
primarily
involving
seafood,
but
there
were
other
options
and
our
group
decided
to
do
some
tapas
and
shared
paella.
The
Jamón
Ibérico
was
good.
The
lobster
croquettes
were
okay.
The
patates
frittta
had
a
paste
that
I
was
told
would
be
spicy,
but
it
really
was
not.
The
tomato
and
goat
cheese
salad
was
fresh.
The
mussels
were
good.
The
lemon
pie
had
a
line
layer
of
lemon
filling,
it
was
mostly
crust
and
merengue.
The
was
the
so
so
part
of
the
dinner.
Here
were
the
stars.
The
octopus
was
grilled
and
smoky.
I
have
had
octopus,
primarily
fried
or
in
some
sort
for
fruit
of
the
sea
dish.
This
preparation
was
to
die
for.
So
delicious,
meaty
and
flavorful.
Not
chewy
or
flavorless
at
all.
I
wish
I
could
have
had
more.
The
rice
dishes
were
excellent.
The
black
rice
with
cuttlefish
and
artichoke
hearts
was
good.
They
brought
some
garlic
aioli
to
the
table,
and
it
was
suggested
I
mix
it
in.
Wow!
I
took
a
good
dish
to
the
next
level.
The
sausage,
mushroom,
and
asparagus
rice
was
even
better,
especially
on
its
own
with
no
flavor
assist
from
the
aioli.
Overall,
a
wonderful
experience
at
Peix
Vela.
I
would
highly
recommend
it
for
food
and
atmosphere.
