Very expensive place in Barcelona, the food not quite good, but I really liked the service and flexibility of the manager when we told her that the paella was too salty. I understand why it is expensive (the zone) but at least quality (taste) should be better.

Incredible restaurant with great service. Would 100% recommend. Great service with some of the best food I had whilst in Barcelona. Lovely to sit outside, overlooking the beach.

Wonderful location with a view of the beach and its surrounding areas, I would recommend coming here with friends or family as the food is amazing along with the drinks. The service was quick when we went, and the waiters were polite and quick with the food. I would suggest a group of four to sit outside closer to the beach, and reservations always make it easier to reduce any wait time.

The service is very professional and the food tastes great. The location of the place is amazing at the sea. Price is high and staff are not always available to ask for assistance.

A nice design restaurant from the group Tregaluz, with a nice outdoor terrace in front of the seaside below the W Hotel. Nice interior and decor good rice options to try out (paella ... min 2 persons ) not the best quality very dry and salty with very little fish only 7 claims, 4 pieces of squid and very small prawns already cleaned ... Way too poor quantity ! and overpriced overall but at least not too touristic as in paseo Juan de Borbón ... Service is good and interior is carefully decorated. Bathroom would need a restyling. I suggest to not eat the paella 🥘 and try the rest instead

Food: There were some hit and misses for this meal and the miss that was the most significant was the paella. We felt that it was way too salty. The salad, jam on and lobster croquette did make up for it but food can't be higher than a 3 because of the paella which was disappointing. Service: We had a waiter who was very attentive and gave good recommendations on a whole and as such we enjoyed a tomato salad and lobster croquettes. Atmosphere: it was pretty quiet but granted we went on a Wednesday evening at around 2200 but there was a decent energy around the restaurant.

Waited an hour for the lobster paella which came out wrong - they weren’t even sorry and just gave us the bill right after. Octopus was also overcooked and tough. Really bad service, avoid this place at all cost

We have been going here regularly for a over a year. At the start, we were very impressed with the food and the service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, over the past 6 months the service and quality of food has dropped. On our visit last week we noticed that the portion sizes had reduced on our regular meals, many dishes were cold and had to be replaced (even though restaurant was very quiet at the time) and the waitresses were not attentive, forgot our orders and were not friendly as usual. It is a shame that this is happening to a lovely restaurant and we hope the management improve the situation in the future.

I visited for the first time Pez Vela in 2018 and I remembered thinking it was by far the best paella I ate during my time in Spain. Fast forward to 2023 and it was a pleasure to be back - still my favourite Paella in Barcelona! Lovely atmosphere too!

Great place with a beautiful view and good food👌🏻 Squid, prawn and clam rice has a very rich taste, scallops r good, and red fried shrimps served with peppers r very delicious. And a lemon pie is amazing👍🏻

Attentive service and a seafront location right next to the beach make this a really nice place to dine in. The quality of the food served was very good and we enjoyed all the dishes presented.

Soooooo good! We ate here twice on our holiday. Peix Vela is on my top 10 list. Can't wait for our next visit.

It is hard to beat the view from this restaurant, a beautiful beach and ocean breeze. The food was amazing and a variety of Catalan dishes, primarily involving seafood, but there were other options and our group decided to do some tapas and shared paella. The Jamón Ibérico was good. The lobster croquettes were okay. The patates frittta had a paste that I was told would be spicy, but it really was not. The tomato and goat cheese salad was fresh. The mussels were good. The lemon pie had a line layer of lemon filling, it was mostly crust and merengue. The was the so so part of the dinner. Here were the stars. The octopus was grilled and smoky. I have had octopus, primarily fried or in some sort for fruit of the sea dish. This preparation was to die for. So delicious, meaty and flavorful. Not chewy or flavorless at all. I wish I could have had more. The rice dishes were excellent. The black rice with cuttlefish and artichoke hearts was good. They brought some garlic aioli to the table, and it was suggested I mix it in. Wow! I took a good dish to the next level. The sausage, mushroom, and asparagus rice was even better, especially on its own with no flavor assist from the aioli. Overall, a wonderful experience at Peix Vela. I would highly recommend it for food and atmosphere.

I ate one of the best paella in Barcelona here. The location and the atmosphere was magic: looking to Barceloneta beach full of young and sportifs, the sea, immersing the garden outside the restaurant with a lot of birds. Really I suggest to live this experience here (possibly in the summer). It's necessary to book a place. Please, be careful: the prices are rather expensive.

We didn't have reservations but they gave us the front table and prepare table in 5 minutes. The service was great. Great choice of Spanish food and very good prepared. We will definitely come back.

Great paella with very nice view on the sea. For sure one of the besta paellas I have tried in Barcelona. The service was slightly confused as they did bring us the bill although we have ordered coffee and cake. And the new bill wasn't correct regarding the coffees...

Fancy place with exclusive view to the sea and coast line! Quite pricy, given the location, but overall good quality, fresh food and friendly staff. It’s worth to try it, especially if it’s your first time visiting barcelona.

Doesn't matter how many times you visit this place, the food is excellent quality. The service is consistent and professional. Good wines and plenty of choice in their menu. Fairly priced menu. Would keep them as favorite restaurant in Barcelona!

Not the best paella I’ve had, but other menu tasted awesome. Pan con tomate is a must. The vibe is excellent, service is beyond perfect and very attentive. It’s just very pricey I think..but it makes sense cause it has the best spot along the beach.

Great food, atmosphere, and staff. Recommend the mixed seafood paella. The portions are quite big for the paella so along with many starters we got paella for 4 people, shared between 8 and just managed to finish.

Tremendous food and service. The paella with scallops and prawns is delightful. As the the burrata starter.

Fantastic paella in a very premium place in Barcelona. Not cheap but very worthy. Very recommended for a special occasion.

Really tasty, fast service and great atmosphere. Close to the sea and fair prices. Definitely recommend, probably one of the best places in Barcelona.
