I really enjoyed the surprise menu, didn't have to think about anything and got the best dinner in the city. After trying those poor dry tomato-breads, the one here made my day, some actual edible real food. All the meats, bread, hummus, and all others were just perfect. And all for a reasonable price.

I heard this place was good, but upon arrival I definitely feel like this is a bit too aimed at tourists. There are MANY other Tapas places which are better. They only had a "set" menu when we were there, which takes the fun out of ordering dishes you want to try, rather get what they give. The food wasn't bad. Service was good, they were kind. We did the €50 surprise menu and it’s incredible! I was impressed that EVERY SINGLE DISH was just bursting with flavor!!! It’s a TAPAS restaurant, which means small portions of a lot of dishes so that you get to experience the most. I will say, for us it was PLENTY, we did not leave hungry! On top of that the service is superb too! We felt so welcomed, staff is very attentive, speaks both English and Spanish. What an unforgettable experience! We will be back tomorrow again! We had walked all around Barcelona on our first day and I had this 40KG backpack after going on a shopping spree. I thought this place has good reviews and I hope it isn't some massive queue and food is tiny amounts, well I was quite wrong. We had about 8 people in front of us and I thought oh god my feet are killing me and one couple left and the first couple got seated. The next 2 wasn't long and when we got a side table when my girlfriend saw the bar free up she asked for us to be seated there and they were happy for us to move. I forgot to add when you leave your name you can order a drink and enjoy it while you wait, very civilised. The two set menus are a nice let them choice when they have asked if you have any particular likes or dislikes or allergies. It's meat and vegetables, no seafood. Also it's cash only. All good to go. The first courses typical tapas, tortilla but not some massive slice, we ordered the ham, good quality a decent portion, the four other courses are all very good sizes and in the end we were very full. Service was on the ball and they were polite and friendly even when I was turning around and accidentally elbowed one of the staff I was very sorry and she accepted my apologies. I was just impressed the staff spoke multiple languages and it is a tiny venue but I really enjoyed myself, 2 people eating with a drink each and water under 50 euros. We have a tip and why not it's the least we can do.

We had a really nice evening yesterday at the Bodega. The service is really nice and excellent. Every single item of the menu was outstanding. We were really impressed by the quality and the interpretation. It was just insanely tasty! The short wait in the line is totally worth it. By far the best food we had in Barcelona.

This place is pretty cool. They only have two options (both are several plates of tapas). I had their menu of the day for 1 (which I am so happy that they were able to do that as it’s usually meant for 2). I had some jamon, omelette with pesto, tomato bread, chicken, beef stew, chicken kebab, and added the crème brûlée (the Spanish version) which came with a shot of coffee liquor. all were absolutely fantastic! I didn’t see too many locals but I also went pretty early, around 130 when it opened.
