    It’s hard to appropriately assess this experience without causing grief for the crew and owners, but I feel like it’s not for everyone and not because of the price list. People who are not greatest fans of fish and seafood should not choose this place. I am a moderate fish/seafood lover and I had a hard time going through all the dishes, even though they are small in size- it’s a tasting menu after all. I’ve had the 7 course menu there and it was all fish/seafood. A lot of the dishes were raw or cured and while indeed fresh, all this added to the fact that the fish taste was the leading component, be it marinated in citric juices, accompanied by cucumber/watermelon, cream curd or garam masala. All sound like good combos but nothing stood out for me, except for a smoked mackerel with wasabi. The dessert was interesting but frankly also very dull. I had the tomatoes shave ice and smoked matcha Cheesecake, which were also kinda like not a dessert at all. They were salty and umami and at the point of going through all seafood dishes before, I was really craving something to change/refresh my tastebuds. The service is nice and helpful but they never mentioned it was going to be all seafood based, well, there was quail too but mine was pretty undercooked so I didn’t finish it :-) Also, the location leaves a lot to improve- dirty sidewalk of a closed (they have two times they sit people at 8pm and then at 10pm so the market is already closed) Boqueria market strewn with cigarette butts and homeless guy sleeping right in the alley next to your table don’t make for a pleasant experience at this price point.(Not to mention you feel sorry for the homeless at the same time stuffing yourself with exclusive foodstuffs.)

    An amazing experience sitting at the bar watching the chefs prepare our meal! I loved the attention to detail and how all the chefs also had an amazing knowledge of wine, and shared what would normally typically be the role of a waiter. Most of the dishes were seafood heavy, with some being more meat based. My favourites were the homemade dumpling with oyster and the sauce was from a stew, and the smoked cheesecake with matcha. Minus 1 star as they didn’t ask if there was any food I didn’t like, given it was a set menu we had no choice and unfortunately I don’t like horseradish and wasabi which were very heavy in some dishes, therefore I was unable to enjoy them! However would still recommend this wonderful restaurant!! Great service !!

    We've had a wonderfull night. Great flavours, fusion style. Personal contact with the chef as this restaurant only seats 8 people (at the bar, so you can see everything being cooked). Only open since 4 months, I can recommend anyone to take their 12 course tasting menu for only 52 euro's.

    Amazing food and excellent, intimate table service. We were able to ask questions and get a familiarity with our dishes that we've not had anywhere else. There wasn't a single dish that didn't taste great and it all felt that it coalesced well together. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Barcelona.

    One of the best meals I've ever had in my life. I had read about this place on many food blogs and am so glad that I did. We did the 10 course tasting menu with 2 desserts and every single dish was so meticulously put together and each dish was a piece of art. There are only 8 seats at the counter and it's an open kitchen so you get to see the chefs make your food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND going here if you get the opportunity, it's really amazing.

    We went there for my birthday and I enjoyed it a lot! 10-course menu was creative and delicious, I think I liked most of the courses (didn’t like shaved ice dessert, oyster dumpling and taco-like something with shrimp). Menu to 90% consists of seafood, it was fresh and delicious. Wine recommended by chefs greatly accompanied meals. The only thing I didn’t like (but it’s not affecting my review since we were sitting inside) is location. It’s right on the boqueria market and smell outside is not the best thing to experience during such a special evening. If you can choose - I’d recommend to reserve a place inside.

    We had an amazing meal last week. Value beyond anything we’ve had in the past. The intimacy of the small place makes the service very relaxed and personal and gives the guest the opportunity to chat with the chef and cooks, which is special. Sitting at the counter is definitely a great experience, as every dish is prepared in front of you. The food is FANTASTIC! Clean, exciting and full of flavor. Mostly seafood focused with only a single meat dish. Michelin worthy and better than at least one 3-star restaurant that we’ve been to. The location, on the edge of La Boqueria, provides some grit and a juxtaposition to the poverty in the area that some people may feel uncomfortable with. This is the only reason I can see why this place has not earned a Michelin star. The food and service is superb and the value is unbelievable.

    Great place, good food and attentive service, but with some room for improvement. Overall the food was on point, balanced, interesting twists and combinations, going from light to heavier dishes as the meal progresses. Most dishes were very unique and packing different flavours and techniques (like the lovely burned watermelon with sardines). We got the bigger tasting menu which was €74 per person (the small one is €60 and is 3 dishes less). I found the desserts to be a little disappointing - icecream with strawberries was a bit bland and the smoked cheesecake seemed like a strange way to finish off the meal (would prefer a citrusy finish). The service was really good and was super attentive. Overall great, but a few small details like not having the blankets for guests when seated outside when it is cold now, the location being strange for such a fine experience (sitting next to the market is not the best ambience for a late night high end meal), as well as some dishes being a little off really doesn’t fully let me give it a 5 star experience for the price we paid for.

    A fantastic dining experience! We had 12 courses (cuz why not) and each one of them gave a different palate sensation. Paired with wine of your choice( I recommend the orange wine). Chef Alessandro created several dishes that were absolutely mind-blowing, especially the salad dessert and cacao dessert. During the evening, he was very engaging and made the experience fun and educational. We absolutely loved it. Personal favorites: jellyfish, white asparagus, pig trotter, scallop carpaccio, soup dumping! The cherry on top is the sweet wine, a perfect digestif to end the evening.

(Original) Barra de degustació . Restaurant situat a sota d' una de les arcades que hi ha , al carrer de les cabres justament tocant dins el mercat de la Boqueria . Per aparcar ha d'ésser en un dels parkings de pagament , i bé a la plaça de Catalunya o qualsevol dels situats als carrers del costat de les rambles. El restaurant és una barra dins la cuina , on total fa 14 m2 , on hi han 3/4 cuiners i 9 comensals . Hi han dos menús un de 10 plats i dos postres , que val uns 62€ , sense vi, O cervessa , i l'altre de 7 plats i dues postres. L'aigüa entre dins el preu del menú . El cuiner principal és el cuiner vallessenc , Arnau Muñio , que fou el millor cuiner espanyol de l' any 2018, acompanyat per la cuinera canadenca d' origen xinès , Shu Zhang , i una altre cuinera brasilenya . El restaurant podem tastar una cuina de fusió d' arrels asiàtiques , japoneses i Catalanes . El vi és un pèl car però , si us deixeu aconsellar per l'Arnau us buscarà els vins que maridin més bé amb el menú . Nosaltres amb els tres primers plats vàrem fer un blanc del Penedès, amb els següents altres tres un blanc amb barrica del Priorat , i els altres tres últims que eren de carn , un negre del Priorat , eren quatre i els vins ens varen costar uns 100€ , que repartir va tocar a una 25 € , no está malament. El lavabo està dins a un petit reservat , hi s' ha de passar per la cuina . Els torns són de dimarts a Dijous , només el migdia , primer torn de 1 a 3 i el segon de 3 a 5. Els divendres i els dissabtes fan sopars , primer torn a les 8 i el segon a les 10. Un espectacle gastronòmic , molt ben dirigit per l'Arnau . Vem disfrutar molt . Una gran experiència .
