I did the guided night tour. The tour guide was excellent and it was fun to see the place with a different lighting. However, I think it would be better to let the travelers explore the roof on their own instead of having a light show that didn’t add much to the whole experience, since it was very simple. Overall very satisfied with the experience.

This apartment complex is definitely worth visiting. If you ever cared about Gaudi’s architecture or infrastructure in general you will enjoy the tour. I did the night experience and I highly recommend. Tour guide was knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. Must go even if you swing by it only. 🙏🏼

Our experience is fantastic! We booked an organized tour through the Get Your Guide app. The group was not big at all, there were ten of us in total. The guide was pleasant, friendly and willing to answer all the questions we had. Also, her English was really good and easy to understand. The Casa Mila is also phenomenal, as is everything about it - the architecture, the way it was built, the aesthetics, the interior, the roof, which is beautiful, unique and fantastic for great photos. To all of you who are planning to visit, I strongly suggest that you buy tickets in advance because there are huge crowds in the season (as for every other attraction in Barcelona), and if you are able to spare a little more money, I strongly advise you to pay for this sunrise tour with a guide, because with that small group of ten people you will be the only ones in the whole house, which is ideal for great photos and a peaceful tour! The tour starts at 8 am and lasts about an hour. That way, just when the doors open for all the other visitors, you have finished your tour and can go on to visit the other attractions that this fantastic city has to offer.

I think it was an overall interesting place to visit, but I personally don't have as much of an appreciation for architecture like this, so I thought it was overall decent, but it I wouldn't be disappointed if I missed it. It was unique to see the house, but I thought a lot of the house wasn't too exciting, except for the attic and the roof. The rest of it was like an old house. Also, I think it would have been nicer in the night. We went in the day, and the rooftop was okay! It could have been more exciting, and wasn't the best in pictures. Overall, it's a unique experience, especially if you like architecture, but I don't think it's the end of the world if you skip it.

Casa Mila ,built in 1906, is a residential building with an avant-garde appearance (I think it has a weird appearance). Almost all shapes have sinuous curves. It is said that the design concept comes from nature, waves, hills, etc. Perhaps because I have been to too many castle museums, I felt that the interior was bland. Some people say that the highlight of this attraction is on the roof. On the contrary, I think that the more than 30 chimneys of different sizes and weird shapes give people a sense of instability. The only thing that impressed me about this apartment was the light! Every room has bright natural light. The 26 euro ticket makes people feel that it is not worth the money.

I visited here during Easter Holiday in April. This place is absolutely lovely. Although I’m not an artist, but I’m sure you’ll be definitely impressed by his design shown in the building. Very colourful, fancy and full of personal characters. I’m really impressed and highly recommend visitors to come and visit!

The attic and the rooftop is the real gem of this museum. If you're not on a budget, then definitely buy a ticket in advance and visit La Pedrera because you'll most likely won't regret it. The building's architecture designed by Gaudi is on a whole other level. It is unique and beautiful; you'll enjoy walking around the house. If you're on a budget however, then you can skip it, but you'll definitely need to visit Casa Batllo :).

Wow was I glad we went inside. I got to learn about this genius man, genius architect that was Antoni Gaudi. How this man's brain worked just blew my mind. Drawing creativity and idea from nature itself but applying it in such a unique and most of all beautifully unusual way. This is a gem that everyone should experience!

Lovely architecture, high priced admission for a very small portion of the building (main plaza, 1 apartment, attic and roof). You can tell this is a tourist money trap because there is a gift shop in the center of an exhibit and at the end. The audio tour was greatly appreciated and automatically started base upon your location in the building. I am very happy that I went, however price point did take it down a notch.

I really loved this place. They will guide you through each room with full information. It was really interesting to watch and hear about this place which is modern relatively to when it was made. You will hear the story of the place from the architect himself. If you are in Barcelona, you should definitely visit

The atmosphere inside is really nice. You can see the life of families in 1920’s. Very beautiful architecture and worth to see it. But the tickets are really expensive. I do not think it is 28 euros worth it.

Not an architecture fan & loved this experience. House is stunning & with the audio guide you get full story how it was created. In the end we spent well over 2 hours in this place and I can easily imagine to go again. (Won’t be interesting for kids though).

A must-do on any visit to Barcelona. Buy tickets online in advance for the cheapest options. You get a headset and audioguide as you walk around the building. So much to see. Fascinating information about the rooms. Gaudi really was amazing. Head to the roof for the most surreal experience and spectacular views.

Of course I am not rating the unique building itself but the way it is presented. The museum staff will certainly underline that this is a Gesamtkunstwerk, a total work of art. Gaudí wanted everything to breath the same spirit (though one can’t miss to notice that the museum apartment is surprisingly conventional compared to the roof and the facade). But nonetheless every corner and every wall is full with signs, spotlights, barriers, pipes etc and no consideration whatsoever is taken if they torture the artistic eye of the visitor or destroy Gaudís global vision of this building. Is there no curator or architect involved in the conception of the museum? And thousand of visitors pay 25E. That should allow a more living care with this strange and great building.

Loved this building. An incredible piece of genius architecture. Did the premiere visit so went through the main door but missed the first hallway, which was a shame. One thing, don't go when it's wet if your doing the roof as it was closed when we went, too wet! But; it was beautiful and so pleased to have visited

A must see in Barcelona!! It was so beautiful inside, I recommend taking the free audio tour guide head set to hear all of the amazing history. Such a unique and cool museum, unlike anything I’ve seen before. Lots of picture opportunities at the rooftop as well! Went on a Wednesday around 1pm and it was not very busy. The tickets were kind of expensive but it is worth it. We chose to come here rather than going to Casa Batlló based off of a friends recommendation.

All of the Gaudí houses are amazing but would not be my first choice (that would be Casa Batllò). It’s a shorter visit but the view at the rooftop is amazing and worth it. Nice view in the afternoon with the sunset.

An absolute gorgeous piece of architecture. One of the most sought after addresses in Barcelona. The Casa Mila is truly a work of art by the famous Architecy Gaudi and this is also an existing residential apartment, where people live besides being a museum. The location is amazing and prime ! Love its unique facade and the interiors. The building looks amazing at night.

The Basilica of the Sagrada Família is not the only unusual and well-known building by the genius Gaudi. This one, a residential building in the heart of Barcelona, called Casa Milà, nicknamed La Pedrera (The stone quarry), is another. Yes the building is amazing and the architecture and decor with the attention to detail is a masterpiece, inside and out but the price for admission is just far too expensive. One star down because of this.

This is an iconic building; of course this is no news, but if you get the chance to visit take it. The architecture is beautiful, there's ofc the rooftop, but there's a flat which you can also visit and there's a number of models of early versions available. The ticket comes with a free audioguide. The ticket is easily bought online at their website and I would advise going in the early morning, and going upstairs by the stairs on your right hand side. This will take you directly to the rooftop and make your visit staggered with other visitors, as others mostly choose to take the lift. It's an 8 floor climb though, so you need to be ready for that.

Booked online before traveling to Barcelona, which was simple to do and gave us a time slot we wanted. Arrived earlier than expected and was allowed in. Audio guide was great, automatically started when you arrived at different parts of the house to tell you all about it and the family that lives there. The roof was amazing, view across the city through the architecture. We spent around 1hr 15mins here a very worth while visit.

SOOOO AMAZING!!! This was a highlight of our trip. I loved every bit of it. Definitely worth the money to do the tour, which comes with an audio guide. I listened to everything because it was so, so, so very interesting. It really teaches you a lot about Gaudi and his process. Be mindful of the weather, as they do close the roof if it's bad. But you will need to book in advance because it is busy. This was the only thing we had to wait in line for even though we had tickets booked already. They have elevators, but I didn't want to wait. I also liked seeing the stairways, though they weren't super exciting. But they also provided a nice break from the crowds, as there were a LOT of people here. This was the only Guadi house we saw, but it makes us really want to visit the rest of them. The roof is simply just stunning and I love how he incorporates so much nature into his designs. Just lovely!

The location does require a entrance fee of 25 euros for an adult, however if you love architecture, it is completely worth the price! The design of the rooftop, to the attic, and to the apartments is impressive. There was a lot of thought and influences of nature that shine through the construction. One of the aspects that I enjoyed the most were the door handles that were designed. They not only looked awesome, it had a very specific design intent for looks and ergonomics. There are also many differently spots for great pictures and for anyone to practice taking pictures.

Must see in Barcelona and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The chimneys on the roof are like warriors of the Middle Ages. The view of the city is exceptional. If you love architecture, it's priceless for you! The design of the terrace, close to the attic and the apartment is impressive. Nature had many thoughts and influences that burned through construction.

We did the night tour and didn't think it was worth the steep price. This felt very underwhelming compared to other Gaudi buildings we visited. The light show was just a nature video projection on the roof, and we didn't get to see much of the interior of the building. Better to admire this one from the outside and save your money.

If you’re in Barcelona, then it’s worth the visit to La Casa Mila. I signed up for the night experience guided tour and it was beautiful. The tour guide was fantastic and very clear in explaining the details. What you will get from the night experience is the history of the house, exploring the miniatures of the architecture, see the light performance on rooftop and they’ll give you time to take pictures there. There’s gonna be drinks and sweets after your tour. Overall it’s really great

What an incredible experience. I would recommend going without any time constraint. We ended up spending almost 3 hours there. We did the full audiovisual tour including the 3D aspect. While I don’t believe it is absolutely necessary to do, it’s such a fun experience. The rest of the tour of the building is lovely. It’s so cool how the audio set identifies where in the house you are an automatically plays the right part of the audio tour. I would view this more as a visit to a museum rather than anything else. Take your time. It’s truly a historical treasure.

This is a unique architectural design inside and outside. It combines functionality and nature. In different corners on the rooftop there are chimneys that demonstrate the four elements of the nature. It is a spectacle itself.

A must see in Barcelona. And a UNESCO World Heritage site. The chimneys on the rooftop are like warriors from the Middle Age. The views of the City are exceptional. My practical recommendation: take the elevators to the roof top and walk your way down. Allow enough time to see the whale attic and a sample apartment with period furnishings. The attic has a set of clever displays documenting how Gaudi's rich inspiration came from Nature.

Very beautiful architectural piece, a must visit while in Barcelona! It is wheelchair friendly (and the person accompanying the person in the wheelchair enters for free), however be aware that there is only a very small platform on the terrace (the most beautiful part of the visit in my opinion) that can be accessed in a wheelchair - everything else is just stairs. Still totally recommend checking it out because it is unique.

The last of Barcelona architect Antoni Gaudi's apartment buildings, built 1906-1912. Called "Le Pedrera," the stone quarry. A totally original masterpiece that is beautifully maintained. Don't miss the interior museum and a visit to the roof. Great treasure of 20th century architecture.

Casa Batlló is one of Gaudi's two important works on Passeig de Gracia Street. The other is Casa Mila, also called La Pedrera. And Casa Batlló, like the other works of the famous architect, is highly inspired by mother nature. The windows of the building, which looks like its balconies are made of bones and its columns made of skulls, are also decorated with inspiration from the colors of nature. Reflecting Gaudi's extraordinary genius in every corner, Casa Batlló's roof is decorated with curved chimneys resembling a dragon that you cannot see anywhere else. The interior of the building is another breathtaking world with its oak stairs, exquisite courtyard and all decoration preserved in its original form. Moreover, Casa Batlló is a building that attracts attention not only with its beauty, but also with its functionality compared to other buildings of its age.

We took the night tour - it was pretty, but not really as impressive as other Gaudi tours in the city. Projections on the chimneys were quite disconnected from Gaudi or anything else and didn't really hold our interest. The story behind the building is chaotic and intriguing but resulted in a lot less of the building being preserved as Gaudi originally designed. You also don't get to see inside any of the actual apartments which was also a shame.

Very nice place designed by Gaudí, worth checking out both the interior and exterior. The rooms are very well preserved and the rooftop views are amazing. It was interesting to visit La Pedrera. Honestly i was expecting a lot more for the price you pay. It’s 27 Euros and it’s basically an ancient apartment building. It’s quite interesting to visit especially the roof top but definitely not worth the money you pay. I would pass on this opportunity and spend my money more wisely.

The architecture of the Casa Milà is absolutely fantastic. Gaudi took inspiration from the human and natural dimentions to design it. The sunlight reflects on its different surfaces and colors and playing with the shadows it creates a magic atmosphere. It is worth visiting it

Very quirky house. Didn't bother with the free audio which in hindsight we should have as we had no idea what we were supposed to be looking at! Anyway we got to the main bit quicker! The roof top was fab with amazing views. What spoils this tour is tourists trying to get that perfect Instagram shot and the amount of photos they have to take before they get it! Ended up walking through a load of shots just so I could enjoy the view myself!

Definitely worth checking out for the rooftop views. There are three different levels to check out and unfortunately only one of them (the attic) is stroller and wheelchair friendly. You'll have to carry your little one to the roof and to the main area. We enjoyed this one more than Casa Batllo if you had to choose between the two.

We were invited to go to the garden for a nice private reception by Rabat and missed the opportunity to see the inside of the building itself. But the flamenco dancer made it up😀 I love the front of the building and really enjoyed the beautiful wave lines Gaudi did. Definitely I will come again to see it.

I feel a bit daft reviewing this Gaudi house, which speaks for itself. The man was clearly a visionary genius. To have lived in one of these houses would have been a joy. 1/ Go as early in the day as you can. It’s best in the lower seasons if possible. 2/ Buy timed tickets in advance. 3/ You can take a baby, but will have to leave a pushchair before you get to the top floor as access to the roof with one isn’t possible. The staff are helpful and will show you where to put the pushchair. I recommend a visit to this beautiful, historic place as part of even a short visit to this City.

I found this architecture fascinating. The structure has almost all curved lines (inside and out) with textures and patterns that are found in nature, which is refreshing and unique compared to the hard lines and corners we are used to seeing. We did a night tour as well, which allowed us to hear more about the artist and the artist, the original concept for building, and the history of how it was used. I would recommend checking it out if you have time.

I did experiment the night tour and it was absolutely charming. The house wasn’t packed of people, the evening lights made it even more beautiful, the guide was fun. Few cons though considering the price : - No visit of any apartment. - The rooftop lights show was poor and boring. Still a great experience, but could be improved.

Nice place. Gives a good impression about the apartments used in those times. It's not cheap though, to explore just an apartment, it's addict and the roof. The view from the roof is impressive. Nice weather is a must have when on the roof. The addict shows in detail how the building is designed.

Interesting place from outside, maybe it is nice inside also... By principle we just decided to not go. Reasons are simple. Place where you have to pay outrageous money to entry because you are tourist - if you are Catalan you pay normal entry of 12€ per person. If not twice as much. It is first time in EU I seen this double standards. In price you have fast line (now with Covid maybe 5 people in whole building),you have glass of Cava (but only at evening and if they consider that weather is ok). Thank you but no. Instead getting more guests in Covid time you asking to run empty. Maybe next time there will be different entry fee for black, Asian or male and female get different pricing....

The audio guide is great! My husband thought it was too much, but it explains the thought process of how the design came to be. You get to visit the rooftop and an apartment. Definitely worth a visit in Barcelona. Should be in must visit list. Also it's a non profit, that means all profits go to the poor and towards education.

Not many people due to the covid situation, and also took advantage of the two for one black Friday offer, because if it was €24 each I don't think I would have visited. The architecture is astounding, and the audio guide is also very good and apart from the volume you don't have to do anything at all, as it recognises whereabouts you are in the building. The only thing that did annoy me a bit was being offered a photo at the end which I was told was included as part of the visit, but when directed to collect the photos there was a charge. Maybe it was something lost in translation, but other than that the visit was good with very helpful staff, all of who could speak good English.

Another one of Antoni Gaudi’s iconic building from 1906-1912. It was his last residence place. You can see the construction made from rocks and almost looks like a Stone Age type of building. Very creative and interesting look outside and next to a shopping plaza. Can easily be spotted walking the streets of Barcelona.

Amazing. Pure art. Or about how Gaudí's genius can be seen and felt in this architectural masterpiece. It is not cheap, but you will get to know three different spaces in a single visit and, in a way, you will understand a little more about how this artist saw, thought and recreated the world from an organic and natural perspective. And the Barcelona sky makes all the difference. Worth a lot.

Stunning piece of architecture, still yet to complete the tour (unsure if I will or not). The interior is much more interesting than the exterior, especially the rooms displaying where people actually existed. The rooftop is not as spectacular, and the attic too (classic Gaudí design, if there's such a thing). Overall a great experience, although not too captivating, surprisingly. The audio guide is brief and precise and informative without stalling. Overall, a masterpiece that is easy to appreciate.

I didn't get to see it from the inside, but even from the outside, it's worth looking at. As everything designed by Gaudí it's unconventional, simultaneously ahead of its times and something that could only be created in the previous century.

A can't miss stop in Barcelona. Less busy than Batllo with more value, and a great audio guide included in admission price to boot. Tour takes you from the roof with great views, to the ground floor. Containing a ton of info on the building and Gaudi's methods along the way. Also a bit of a viewpoint into early 20th century life for the rich in Barcelona. Would recommend.

We love visiting Casa Mila, as we do all of Gaudi's masterpieces! The rooftop and elaborate chimneys are a highlight for us (plus nice views), but the interior is very interesting as well particularly the architecture of the attic. Sure, you could just sip on a glass of wine at a nearby spot and appreciate the facade, which is beautiful, but it's definitely worth touring the building. Hard to believe there's actually 3 families still living there!

Casa Mila or La Perdera is a beautiful house to visit. It is interesting to be able to go into the house and listen to and see how and why Gaudí designed the way he did. The attic area where you see the brick "rib cage" of the building as well as how he used hanging chains to construct his arches was both interesting and informative. We walked up the flights of stairs, but if I was doing it again, I'd take the elevator!

Little bit short of a tour but the architecture was amazing. Audio guide was immersive. Pricing also wasn’t too bad. Expect a line up at the elevator and maybe take the stairs on the opposite side if the line is too long.

  • 5/5 Aggie W. 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely beautiful and unique. Another masterpiece from Gaudi. You don’t get to see each room as they are occupied by residents. Once get in, an elevator would bring you to the rooftop where there are odd shaped chimneys. That’s so cool. Also La Sagrada Familia is visible. When coming back in and going down to one floor, it is a museum which displays a family setting back in 18th or 19th. Quite interesting. Make sure to buy tickets in advance to save money. Online ticket is €25 but cost 3€ more when buying from the ticket office. We visited at lunch time. Somehow I could not get my credit card processed to buy ticket online for a slot 30 minutes later so had to buy from the ticket office. The queue was not long. Overall it was a pleasant visit.

Casa Milia is so stunning and full of incredible history. I visited once about fifteen years ago and was so grateful to bring my husband on our honeymoon. They have many stairs and many smaller corridors. This may be a tough spot for anyone who is physically impaired or elderly just because there’s a ton of un even stairs etc. they do have an elevator which is great.

Amazing experience! One of the most beautiful art piece of Gaudi! If you want to understand his style and art you should visit this apartment. The second most popular architecture work by Gaudi. There was carefully-thought clever reason behind every single design in the house. Sliding door, separate kitchen and dinning room, wired hole in the main door to safely check the visitors...The roof top is the highlight, very quirky designed warriors. Great audio guide. This is a must see.

It's an iconic building in Barcelona, built by the famous architect Antoni Goudi. It has very unique and unconventional design, especially the rooftop. One hour is enough to have a look around, but if time permits spend some time on the roof top. I highly recommend a visit to this place.

  • 5/5 Sue B. 11 months ago on Google
So worth! Be sure to go at least 2 hours before closing so you have time to visit the roof (they close it early for some reason). The architecture here is unique (and will feel exciting and familiar to Star Wars fans), and the gift shop has some truly lovely offerings (oh, the scarves!). We did not do the 3D tour and still loved it. Take the elevator at the very start of the tour to avoid an excessive amount of stair climbing.

  • 4/5 Xavier de A. 11 months ago on Google
As always interesting but the inside room decoration is always the same. I wonder if a little bit more modern art would help to give more fun to the visit. Of course the view, the rooftop and the building are great to see

We were here to explore some of Gaudi’s work. And he creates true structure from chaos. Very nice to see. The audio tour explains how he thought when designing the house and it’s funny to notice that how we decorate and design our houses and rooms today, this was very modern 100 years ago. It’s very expensive, for the visit but they have to make money somehow.

  • 5/5 Elizabeth G. 5 months ago on Google
No need to buy tickets in advance at this time of year but a must in tourist season. Amazing jaw dropping architecture. If you struggle with stairs you can ask to use the lift as 7 flights to get back down from the roof

Bought a ticket that covers entry and free audio tour; there are several other experiences you can choose from I found this one to be the most affordable option; while a bit crowded everyone is respectful and you can get photos without others in the way. I spent approx. 3hrs there but the audio tour can get you in and out in half the time if you’re on a tight schedule. The views from the roof are incredible and one of my favorite in the city. There’s also a restaurant/ cafe on the ground floor and a museum shop (which yo uva center for free).

Beautiful, very interesting. The virtual reality optional extra experience is very good, but not what it appears to be within the video advertisements. This experience takes place within a separate part of the building to the main displays. Still a great day out.

Thoroughly enjoyed touring the building. Spent two hours there. The tour of an example flat was fascinating. The building was so ahead of it’s time. Loved the inspiration from nature and found it incredible that such a large building contains no load-bearing walls. Grateful to the shop assistant for not charging me for breaking a mug lid. Buy tickets online to skip the queue!

The roof terrace is wonderful. The audio guide is innecessary and cumbersome, but it seems that you get more visitors when you make ads including "audio guide". The museum offers very detailed and interesting historic, artistic information, social context and clever architectural comparisons between Gaudi and other famous architects like Le Corbusier, all along the cultural parcour, from beginning to end, printed on the information panels close to every exhibition sample. It's a pity but it's absolutely crowded, specially the stairs, up and down to access and leave the roof area and tbe lift. Most of the souvenirs are silly and expensive.

Another gaudi masterpiece. Very intriguing and mindblown on the thoughts that went into the design of this building, of the various rooms and living space of that era, but yet the design is functional, simple yet artistic. The furnishings were ergonomic before the word was invented. Well ahead of the times. The roof terrace is beautiful and offers such a breathtaking view!

La Pedrera is another masterpiece designed by Gaudí, showcasing his distinctive architectural style inspired by nature. The undulating stone facade and unique rooftop sculptures offer a captivating experience, making it a must-visit destination in the heart of Barcelona. You will need around 1.5 to 2 hours for the visit to fully enjoy it.

Visited in November and still kind of crowded, but a place worth seeing. Beautiful place to observe the bustle in Barcelona, while relaxing in one of Gaudi’s houses. Definitely worth getting tickets in advance or via a package deal.
