    5 star hotel, not so much. Room was very spacious and comfortable, however there is no complimentary wifi, the bathroom provided limited toiletries, towels need to be replaced, the light in the shower did not work and the water had a very strong chlorine smell. Breakfast cold selection was nice, warm selection was not great, food was cold and tasted like 2 day old mush. Staff was a mixed bag, some staff were really great others were extremely procedural and did not seem very interested in being there or explaining what the hotel had to offer. I would not go back.

    I have traveled quite a bit and have seen place. I have stayed at 3 star hotels and 5 star luxury hotels. When you say Holiday Inn you know what to expect. When you say Ritz Carlton you know what to expect. Well Ritz Carlton Barcelona makes Holiday Inn look like a palace. It was mediocre at best. They are quite overwhelmed at check in with the 4 people standing in line they forgot to ask how are you or offer water. After check in was completed we proceeded to the room and the keys were not working. I changed 4 sets of keys and none of them worked. Instead of offering to change our room or address the issue we were given another set of keys and of course they did not work. Finally I decided to have someone walk us to the room and physically open the door for us. At that point we were told the door has malfunctioned and maintenance will repair it the next day. The beds were one of the most uncomfortable ones ever. The noise and the discomfort prevented us from getting any sleep at all. It was disaster. I asked the beds to be changed 4 time. Eventually housekeeping arrived to only change the sheets and replace the winter cover for a summer cover. The pool restaurant was the only positive thing on this stay. Food was great. Service was great and staff was amazing. The lobby bar was fun as well. I will never stay at this hotel again and I will definitely not recommend it to anyone either.

    Hotel Arts was a beautiful hotel with great service, I’ve stayed before. But now it feels like a training school for hospitality students, the service is incredibly poor at the restaurants. The hotel didn’t have our room ready 1 hour after their own standard check in time. The lobby is very beautiful, I spent a really long time in it waiting for our room. Really unacceptable for exorbitant prices. Won’t stay again. Will try the W instead.

    Staff were very friendly, Rooms were clean and spacious with the exception of dirty windows which took away from the amazing city views. Be mindful if you are a person of colour, security will spring into action every time you try to return to the hotel...had to show my hotel room key a few times, somewhat disappointing as I observed other hotel guest not subjected to that treatment. It did take away from my experience as I decided to spend most of my time away from the hotel instead of enjoying the amenities. I honestly love the hotel but HATE being profiled.

    Great hotel, but would not come again. The location is really convenient, right at the beach. I really appreciated the very well equipped gym (24/7). The rooms are spacious, but nothing special for a 5* hotel. The prices of the minibar/ room service were way too high (especially for food and it’s quality). It’s okay, but missing the extra touch/ atmosphere.

    Great hotel. Great suite. Great location. Service needs help. Empower your people to deliver service. No bad teams, only bad leaders. My experience has been horrible....too many complaints to list. Sorry Ritz, you are not the Four.Season.

    What a great hotel. Impeccable service and attention to detail is what you would expect. And you will get that here. What surprised me was the intelligence of the staff and their sense of humor. Hats off! I highly recommend it.

    By far one of the best hotels in Barcelona! If you want to stay in a very nice place with superb service I definitely recommend ARTS Hotel Barcelona!! It is operated by Ritz-Carlton and you can tell by the level of detail offered by the hotel and the staff. 44 stories will give you a beautiful view of the city and the sea. The hotel also hosts 2-star Michelin restaurant, SPA on site, and other bar and restaurant. Plenty of treatments in the SPA will let you indulge and relax in the hotel. If you're staying to visit Barcelona set aside a day or two just to enjoy the facilities and the hotel itself - it will be worth it. It is the tallest hotel in Barcelona. Traveling with AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts or Bonvoy account should get you an upgrade and a late check-out, don't forget to ask about that. There are other reviews saying the hotel looks 'dated' and I have to agree. There are some parts that could use some slight renovation but overall I can overlook this mishap. Another thing I would mention is that the windows in fact are quite dirty. Maybe there could be a way to take care of that issue for future guests.

    The Ritz-Carlton brand speaks for itself and the expectation is high when staying here, as to be expected. The hotel was wonderful, and the staff were exceptional and attentive, and the food was also truly at a 5* level. This includes the truly amazing coffee and cake at the Bites cafe, with incredible service from Maria and other staff. Amenities were excellent too. Would return in an instant.

    Beautiful hotel with so many options for dining and entertainment. The moment you arrive, they welcome you in a a very friendly manner. The rooms are very specious, clean and with amazing views. You will not be bored at this hotel, there are so many options for exquisite food at their different restaurants. The spa offers outstanding services and amenities. The highlight of our trip was Ivan at the bar. He is so charismatic, attentive and talented. He made the most delicious cocktails and made us feel like at home. He definitely made our stay at this hotel unforgettable. Thank you!

    Fantastic service and room. This was the highlight of our stay in Barcelona. The executive lounge on the 33rd floor has amazing views, food, and service from the staff. Everything is inviting and added to our stay. Highly recommend!

    Brilliant hotel, great location. Big bedrooms with very comfortable beds, AC, safe box, mini fridge , everything in perfect condition. Very clean, nice bathroom with top quality toiletries. Nice view from the hotel to the sea and the city. Delicious food, breakfast was excellent with more choices than you can imagine. Service is great, friendly and professional. Close distance to the gothic quarter. Nice swimming pool. Definitely deserved 5 stars!!!

    Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your room. They compare countless booking web sites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it. What a great hotel. Impeccable service and attention to detail is what you would expect. And you will get that here. What surprised me was the intelligence of the staff and their sense of humor. Hats off! I highly recommend it.

    Overall hotel is nice and in a good location if you want to be close to the clubs and beach. Room cleanliness is poor, we moved rooms 3 times because the rooms were dirty. Although it’s a Ritz Carlton brand definitely doesn’t hold to the Ritz standard. Hotel breakfast buffet was amazing, great selection and highly recommend. Beds are comfortable and staff is nice.

    My husband and I just returned from honeymoon and stayed for two nights at Hotel Arts, and WOW what an experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, they upgraded us to the most beautiful suite we've ever stayed in, and the views were truly spectacular. I couldn't recommend this hotel more and am so grateful to have stayed here. If you're debating on where to book in Barcelona - book here now!

    We stayed in the club level for our Honeymoon. The hotel had a surprise when we arrived with champagne and dessert. Spa Services, staff, and food were exceptional experiences. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is centrally located to many things and the views are breathtaking. I will stay here again the next time I visit Barcelona.

    This was the most beautiful and well trained members of staff that I've ever seen or met. Their uniforms were impeccable and there attention to detail was perfect. Including the bell hop, front desk people, the lounge and room attendants people. The entire experience was first class specifically because of the great staff. I stayed back in May 2023. I apologize for not putting in a review sooner.

    Big shout out to the amazing stuff, especially to the employees from the reception and concierge service (Alex from Concierge service is the best! He was very friendly and polite, recommended us nice places in the city and faboulous restaurants). The breakfast is great, spa worth it going to and the extra payment (you have an amazing view from there). Our room was little bit outdated. However, when we reported a problem with the shower, the craftsmen showed up within 5 minutes and fixed the problem within 5 minutes.

    I know this is an iconic hotel in Barcelona but haven’t stayed there yet. Went for lunch on their terrace today - everyone from the concierge to the hostess to the bartender - super friendly and nice!! Food and drinks were superb. Lovely way to spend the last hours before my flight. Beautiful place. Real 5 star hotel vibes 👌🏻 Can’t wait to stay there next time I visit Barcelona.

    Wow what an incredible hotel. The quality of service that the hotel offers is simply the best. The staff is extremely welcoming, warm, polite, and professional. The staff is so discreet and respectful. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best stay every time. I cannot say enough about how incredible our experience was. We had breakfast and dinner at the concierge on floor 33 and we have zero complaints. The food is simply incredible and diverse. Daniel makes the best omelettes, eggs Benedict, and avocado toast I have ever tasted around the world. For sure it will be one of the things we will mostly miss. Soufian made sure everything was to our standard making sure we felt at home. We will definitely felt at home. We stayed in three different rooms and we did not have any problems in any of the rooms. We ordered room service for the kids while we ate at the lounge and the children loved the food. Yes the hotel needs a little remodeling but nothing major. We are excited to return. Thank you to the incredible staff!

    We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The service was outstanding and personalized from start to finish. The rooms were fully equipped with all we needed. The exquisite private spa located on the highest floor is an absolute necessity for anyone visiting there. The food was exceptional, and the staff offered fantastic recommendations for local dining. Hands down the best hotel in Barcelona!

    Let me start with all the positives. This has the classic extremely good service of a Ritz-Carlton. The whole staff is friendly and professional. I want to especially emphasize the concierge service which is top-of-the-line. They have a bunch of excellent restaurants and prices to go with it. The rooms, however, are beginning to show signs of age (I think it is age). Not enough places to charge to multiple devices that people travel with these days. Water spills out in the floor from the shower (even when I took extreme care to close the door), creating dangerous situations. I could hear everything going on in the next room (and there was a lot going on 😩). Housekeeping was very late every day. The food at lunch was mediocre, but this was a conference so maybe food was catered. However, if it was catered for the hotel, we were very disappointed. Food at breakfast was excellent.

    Staying here second time. Very nice hotel with beautiful service and location. The only thing is that it’s a bit outdated. Needs room renovation. Everything works good but smells of time. Otherwise amazing :)

    True 5-star service in Barcelona. Fantastically located near the marina, beach, and some beach clubs. With several incredible restaurants on the property grounds, there was no lack of food options. They cater well to Marriott Bonvoy elite members, and they went above and beyond to make my recent stay with some friends even more perfect than I thought possible. Was bummed that Marina/pool service with drinks (beyond. Kambuncha, wine and beer) was halted when we were there due to COVID, but I look forward to returning when back!

    Amazing! We stayed here for 5 days and loved every bit of it! We booked one of the hotel penthouse suite for our stay and the view was outstanding! Customer service was perfect from check in to check out. We stayed here for my birthday and the staff made everything so special for me! We will definitely be back again and at this particular hotel and this particular suite!

    My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous 7 nights at Hotel Arts Barcelona Sun, Aug 29, 2021 – Sun, Sep 05, 2021 and were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary, in addition to working with one of our companies. Our experience during this enjoyable week once again confirms why this is one of our favorite hotels in the world. The professional, kind, welcoming spirit began when our taxi arrived at the hotel early Sunday morning and continued until the moment that Federico put us in our taxi returning to BCN airport (making us promise that we would return very soon!). What a lovely experience for your hotel guests. The entire team of ambassadors were extremely hospitable and helpful, a few were truly extraordinary: Alex Mitats (Assistant Rooms Executive), Paulina Rotllant (Guest Services): Paulina is nothing short of a “rock star”, Federico (lobby/bell stand),Yaiza Nuñez Sanchez (Lokal), Leticia(pool), Laia Colom (Guest Services) & Lucia Senin (Reception). We must share about Paulina...We began communicating well over a month prior to our arrival. She helped us with some many details about our trip, without once getting irritated or suggesting that I was bothering her. She was there personally to welcome up the morning of Sunday August 29, the suite was not ready, arranged for us to have a lovely café latte while awaiting the room. We were very comfortable waiting, enjoying our coffee, as we know we arrived the hotel early. Paulina not only gave us our keys but personally escorted us to the suite. As we entered our hearts were absolutely touched (we had tears in our eyes) when she took the time to decorate our bedroom with balloons and a huge “46” to recognize our wedding anniversary. Photographs attached for your review. I’m still speechless. Throughout our stay Paulina helped us secure dinner reservations, one which was at Can Xurarrades. This has been one of our top five dining experience in the world. The owner Rafa was just incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed this. We tried a very nice wine from Catalunya. Paulina found out where I could purchase this, the price and how many they had in inventory. I took a taxi and purchased them. Astonishing attention to detail and marvelous attention to detail.     Stayed only one night in well equiped penthouse apartment, two bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, sitting room and master bedroom with fantastic views, nice pool, attentive butler service but it comes at a price. A very enjoyable stay

    One of the better properties in Barcelona. The club level has its own privileges and the concierge were very good. They got me reserved tickets to see the church. And ofcourse the breakfast was great and so were the views which were very similar to the room we stayed at the club level. Overall a great experience and good hospitality.

    Great hotel, awesome staff, and pretty good location. Paco in the hotel bar (P41) is a top notch customer service professional. He helped find us a place to eat for Christmas dinner (see review of Boca Grande). The room service is the best of pretty much any 5 star hotel I've stayed at. The spa on the 43rd floor has great views and a very relaxing water room. We spent way too much time on 43:). Lots to do and see within walking distance, including the casino next door. Highly recommend this hotel.

    Beautiful hotel in a great location. If you get a room on the higher floors you'll have splendid views of either the beaches or the city. Staff is beyond amazing, always accommodating and super friendly. Beds are very comfortable, breakfast is of extremely high quality and so varied there is something for everyone. Used the Spa water rooms as well, which are on the top floor with beautiful views. Currently you have to book and pay (due to covid I assume), but it was very lush to have an hour for ourselves up there relaxing our sore muscles from days spent walking around the city.

    Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This website will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be let down. This hotel is amazing!!!     Luxurious hotel that ticks all the right boxes. From the doorman to check in to the amazing breakfast people, the food, the room and the fanatic views! I just cannot fault this hotel. This was my second visit and I simply look forward to my next stay.

    Most of the staff has a great English. They are totally inorganized at the restaurant and the prices are ridiculous. They have an amazing "hardware", but nothing about the "software" works correctly. We sat at the table for 90 minutes after waiting for a table for over 30 minutes, just because they couldn't get their stuff together on a normal day in April!
