I
stayed
here
for
three
nights
in
Barcelona
at
a
friends
recommendation.
A
lot
of
people
had
said
it
was
really
good
so
I
was
excited.
Location
If
you
have
come
to
Barcelona
to
party
with
the
gays,
you’re
in
a
good
spot.
All
the
gay
bars
are
very
close!!
You
can
stumble
home
every
night
like
I
did.
At
the
moment
there
are
major
roadworks
happening
right
out
the
front
of
the
hotel.
I
didn’t
really
hear
it
and
I
had
a
street
facing
room
on
level
6.
But
it’s
just
something
to
be
aware
of
even
if
it’s
outside
Axel’s
control.
Didn’t
really
affect
my
stay.
Hotel
The
lobby
is
pretty
cool.
The
lifts
are
a
bit
dodgy.
The
decor
is
a
little
tired
and
could
do
with
some
refreshing,
especially
in
the
hallways
which
also
smell
a
bit.
The
upstairs
bar
was
fun
but
the
area
for
the
drag
show
was
a
bit
odd.
Drinks
are
a
bit
more
expensive
than
other
bars
surrounding
the
hotel.
Service
The
reception
was
friendly
and
checking
in
was
easy.
I
had
a
problem
with
checking
in
online
because
they
had
me
down
as
two
guests
and
I
couldn’t
delete
the
second
one,
I
had
to
enter
my
details
twice.
I
requested
an
iron
and
just
had
to
go
down
to
reception
to
get
it.
Room
I
was
disappointed
in
the
room.
It
felt
dated,
fairly
small
and
not
a
lot
of
storage
to
put
clothes.
I
was
quite
surprised
that
drinking
water
was
not
complimentary
given
the
quality
of
the
tapwater.
Some
of
the
power
plugs
didn’t
work
which
was
very
frustrating.
The
shower
was
lovely,
one
time
I
did
have
some
issues
with
water
pressure.
Price
There
are
probably
better
options
out
there
for
the
same
price.
I
booked
a
premium
room
so
was
a
bit
surprised
at
the
quality
of
my
room.
I
doublechecked
online,
the
photos
they
are
using
are
from
their
sister
hotel
down
the
road,
which
is
newer.
So
their
advertising
is
a
bit
false.
Summary
Overall,
it
was
an
average
hotel
in
a
good
location.
I
enjoyed
my
stay,
but
if
I
came
back
to
Barcelona,
I
would
stay
somewhere
else
that’s
more
modern
for
the
same
price.
