The hotel is right off the middle of Las Ramblas and close to everything. It's on a quiet street with a good grocery store/deli/coffee shop half a block away. Breakfast was great and worth including. Lots of food and coffee choices. The rooftop bar and pool was a pleasant escape from the crowds at the end of the day. The room was small but we were on a budget and it worked out just fine. It was clean and quiet with good A/C. The interior walls are a little thin so you can hear the hallway very well, not so much other rooms. The staff were all friendly and most spoke English well.

The room nicely appointed with modern amenities. The in-room coffee was good and strong! The only issue was the shower. It is a little sketchy. The floor of the shower is pretty slick when wet and the shower door only covers half of the shower and the water leaks out of the shower onto the floor. All around, it was a nice stay.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and really enjoyed my stay. The rooftop pool is rather small but it's a nice addition to the hotel, it's a good way of cooling yourself down on a hot day especially in the center of Barcelona. The hotel is close to La Rambla, a near by metro and bus stop that will take you to the beach. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. As a way of quick commute around Barcelona I recommend using Yego motorcycles that charge 14c per minute. It works on pick up as you go basis with the use of an application, so you can drop the motorcycle off anywhere within a given area. One of major issues was broken car windows outside the hotel and witnessing a snatched purse from a young lady. The area can be a little dodgy so be on alert leaving the hotel.

The Good: Location is close to everything, facilities are nice and clean, most of the staff is nice and helpful. The bad: biggest complain is the front desk (Clara) she was the least helpful front desk person I have ever ran into in many years of travel. When you pay $3k for 5 days in a hotel you expect decent level of service and most of the staff was nice (Cleaning lady, Pool bar, restaurant) and other folks in front desk. But this lady Clara acted like she was doing us a favor and really did not care about our experience.

A lovely hotel in a great location as a central base to enjoy everything Barca has to offer. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had something for everyone, with a great atmosphere. If you are looking for a great base in a quality hotel with friendly service then look no further.

My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend, the location is perfect just off the main strip and close to many lovely bars and restaurants. The staff are always happy to help with any queries, the rooms are cleaned everyday. The only downside was the room itself It was possibly the smallest hotel room I've ever had, we had no window apart from one that looks onto another internal window and we also had no mini fridge which isn't a major flaw just something I kind of expected. You had to climb over the beds to reach the bathroom or you could squeeze between the bed and the internal wall that has a TV mounted to so you end up doing some strange bent over side steps to get past. The bathroom was a bit outdated cracked tiles etc and a shower screen that didn't stop water leaving the tray as it was too short but the shower unit itself was lovely always plenty of pressure and always had hot and cold water. The only downside was our room after seeing pictures online of these fantastic looking rooms we didn't have. Other than that I would stay again.

I stayed this weekend in January with 5 friends and was very impressed with the hotel and it's value for money. It was my 30th birthday and they surprised me with decorating the room with balloons, banners and a note. The rooms were clean and in line with the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful - they gave good local recommendations and assisted with making reservations. Great location. Would recommend for an affordable weekend break.

Amazing hotel within minutes walking distance to Las Ramblas and the Liceu Metro stop. Comfortable rooms and bed. The staff here were great and the front desk runs 24 hours a day. Breakfast is not free unless you book it with your reservation. I didn't book it but tried it our first day here. It did not disappoint. There were plenty of options and it was buffet style so you could get more if you wanted. All in all, I will definitely stay here again

Bed was very comfortable, rooms were very clean, and service was great! Breakfast is a bit pricey, but it was delicious and self-serve with lots of options. Room service was pricey, and the food was just okay. Everything is walking distance. I will definitely be staying here again, and I do recommend it.

Room was very spacious, we were a family of four. The walls are not super sound proof and when the kids cried or screamed the neighbors complaint and we felt very bad for the few days we stayed and needed to silent then ask the time, which was a bit of disappointed as we asked for family room and I can understand couples wish to sleep late and have fun she we disturbed them 😢 Location is amazing, everything is reachable

It was a very great stay. Breakfast had fresh fruit, and a mix of warm options. The overall service was great. The room was quiet and clean. A walking distance to most everything.

Rooms are really small, very little space to move. Had to roll across the bed to get to the bathroom. Breakfast area is also small, difficult to manoeuvre when multiple guests are at the breakfast bars. It's clean and in a good location but I wouldn't stay again. The room was uncomfortable to stay in due to size and no windows so artificial light needed whatever the time of day.

A fabulous place to stay in the Gothic Quarter. It's an old building so it's not ultra modern. Staff are excellent and can't do enough for you. If you're only staying for a couple of nights the comfort rooms are fine but if you're staying for longer I recommend you upgrade to a superior for added space. The bars and restaurants are abundant in the surrounding area.

Hotel faultless from start to finish. Anything we needed was provided. Rooms were great a f very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and a good selection of food. Great location just 5 mins from las Ramblas. Great little bar on the corner of the street.

I liked staying in this hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect for me. It was within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants, making it a prime choice for travelers who want to experience the city. Nice service and friendly staff.

The room we got for two people was more for one. If you’re travelling and have a pretty big suitcases, luck to you for fitting them in the small rooms. The elevator is sooo slow to enter and you do have to wait a long time. Our shower head pressure wasn’t that strong not sure why and our phone to call reception didn’t even work. Felt more like a five star hostel rather than hotel.

Good hotel in a good location. Many restaurants and shops close by but the hotel is still a bit isolated making it nice and quiet. Rooms are clean and well kept. A bit too small for my taste. I missed a kettle to make tea but there is a coffee machine. The lobby offers a bit of space to sit and relax when the room's walls come closing in. The bar serves excellent tea. Had a little disagreement over being charged for breakfast we neither ordered nor had but the issue was resolved. Could have been handled in a more professional manner. Overall however I'd recommend this hotel for it's great location, fair prices and quality overall. Thanks a lot!

Had a very pleasant stay for 6 nights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Modern rooms. The one we had felt a bit small but not much. Housekeeping did a good job. Breakfast buffet was good, decent selection of foods. Staff was very helpful when we had questions or needed advice. Location was very good, although the direct vicinity wasn't a pretty picture, the proximity of the Rambla on a 3 minute walking distance was awesome. Some nice restaurants in the vicinity If I come back to Barcelona I will definitely consider this hotel again.

Hotel add breakfast bill from another customer on my credit card after I check out. I didn’t have it and never walk nearby breakfast part of the hotel. I try to called many time but reception doesn’t feel like to help only say “on his eyes is the same signature with your check-in paper” even I have seen that before and not my signature with another reception shift before I check out. Hotel have to make sense if I eat it why I have to call cross the country again and again for only 30€ price not because of only 30€ bill but because of you make it wrong and still leave what you did on customer Bad experience I never get

Friendly staff and cozy rooms. Brrakfast is good but is a better deal if you include into the price of your stay. Bed is comfy but very soft so i wouldnt reccomend for people with back issues. Over all i would definately stay here again.

Room was tiny, the "pool" is like a glorified bath (it's tiny). Reception staff were efficient but wouldn't hurt to smile guys. Cleaners were amazing and our room was spotless everyday. Handy for Las ramblas and transport links but the amount of drug users in the square just up from the hotel is off-putting. Didn't try the breakfast but 15 euros pp is expensive compared to going to a cafe on Las ramblas and having a similar breakfast. Decent but has its down sides

Really more of a hostel. This highly overpriced hotel is located in a relatively sketchy area. Drunk, passed out or occasionally fighting vagrants Can frequently be seen around the property. The hotel itself is decently clean, however our room had a very dirty red pillow with strange white stains. The rooms are tiny. We stayed in the comfort room, which had no real view from the window. Sounds will carry from the hallways and other rooms. You can hear every morning the other guests scrambling to check out. And the cleaning staff can also clearly be heard through the wall. The internet was very fast, but drops occasionally causing you to sign back in. The front desk staff were hit and miss. Some were more helpful than others. Check-in: the guy was really helpful. Check out: not so much as they wouldn't help us arrange a taxi to the airport and suggested walking with all our luggage a few blocks to the nearest major street.

The experience was great, staff was nice. The price is affordable and I loved the fact that towels were changed every day! Every time we would go back to the room, the beds were done and it was just great. Also appreciate the free water when we arrived at the hotel: after the trip it was a blessing!

positive: hotel in a very good position near Ramblas and Metro. Quiet room. Top quality breakfast. negative: room difficult to reach; 2 Euros to pay to leave the baggage at the check out for 2 hrs.

Not impressed with the rooms. We had requested adjoining rooms as traveling with kids. But got rooms at two ends of the floor. The hotel was not fully booked. Not on main Las Ramblas.

Very nice hotel on a perfect spot in the City. The staff was great and in case of a problem they were ready to help directly. The deluxe room was specious and spotless. They cleaned the room every day and You'll get new towels aswell. If back in Barcelona we would love to stay in this hotel again.

The hotel is a clear recommendation! Even though some of the rooms are a bit small and a tiny bit worn, they are absolutely clean and functional. The beds are comfortable and also clean, just like the bathroom, which is partly equipped with bathtubs. Despite the very central location, the rooms are extremely quiet and ensure a good rest. The roof terrace with the small pool invites you to spend relaxing afternoons on the sun lounger and the bar serves delicious cocktails with an excellent price-performance ratio. Special mention must be made of the hotel staff, who are hard to beat for courtesy and service orientation. The service staff speak good English, which is not a matter of course in Spain.

Compact, very fine, clean, very good breakfast, basically- everything that a couple need, right in the center of the center of Barcelona! It's not a top luxurious hotel but it was a very good experience and a best value for money. Highly recommend.

Breakfast is very expensive for what you get. 12 euros for nothing. Our room was very noisy (close to the storage room), we asked many times to change the room and at the end they kept offering worse options! Rooms are rather small. We stayed here 4 nights. Location is nice. Access to metro and Gothic part of the city

This hotel was great! It’s close to the main attractions & is within walking distance to the gothic quarter. The front desk staff are extremely helpful & the breakfast selection was also nice. I’d recommend this hotel :)

A very good place to stay to visit Barcelona centre. Don’t miss to enjoy a lunch at Mercat de la Boqueria, located at 3mn walking. Small hotel with tiny rooms and a little pool on the roof, but with ok prices considering the area. Friendly people working there and good breakfast served. The only thing wrong is the bad sound insulation of the rooms, when group of people go in and out their rooms in the middle of the night, talking loud without considering the possibility neighbors would like to sleep.

Quite a nice hotel, the lobby and the bar/lounge area are both very stylish and modern. We stayed in a comfort room which was nice, very clean. The rooms are small but this is to be expected of an old building converted into a hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was a good amount of storage space. Our room had a small fridge, kettle and a tv which didn’t actually seem to connect to anything but we didn’t have much time to watch tv anyway. Hand soap and body wash was provided in the bathroom and the shower was good: despite it being an over the bath shower it was quite powerful. The roof terrace was a lovely space to chill and soak up the sun and was a good size with a mixture of sun loungers and chairs. Towels are not provided free but can be rented from reception for a 5 euro refundable charge. Breakfast was busy and I would say above average but nothing too amazing. Pastries, fruit, cold meat and cheeses alongside hot food. The bacon was not particularly pleasant and they do mix up the hot food offerings: during our stay they had roasted peppers, meatballs, mini chorizo sausages and Spanish omelette. All were ok but I wouldn’t pay extra for this breakfast . It was served until 1030 daily. Staff were pleasant enough, we didn’t really speak to them which I suppose in a hotel is a sign of a good stay. Location is good, just a 2 min walk from la ramblas. The side street the hotel is situated on isn’t the most welcoming but it was quiet at night and we had no issues. Lots of cafes bars and restaurants a short walk away along with a large indoor market. They allow you to store luggage, which is handy as checkout is early at 11am. The system for luggage storage was both good but also frustrating. There are several lockers, some huge but most would only accommodate one large suitcase and at a push another small bag. They are lockable but you need a 2 euro coin to operate. This then gets kept by the hotel each time you open the locker so I would definitely suggest bringing some 2 euro coins and avoid opening the locker until you actually need to. I do feel this system could be better - yes it was safe and secure but I don’t see the need for the 2 euro charge Would I stay here again? Yes but I wouldn’t be desperate to. Ideally I would give 3.5 stars out of 5

We stayed in the Deluxe Room with a group of 4 friends for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay from beginning till end. The room was really comfortable, everything was as it should be, and the breakfast buffet was also excellent. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the neighbourhood hosts a lot of good spots for drinks, cocktails and tapas. Only two minor suggestions: ditch the strong perfume in the hallways and lobby and inform guests on forehand if the pool will be closed for maintenance (we were a bit disappointed on this matter since we chose the hotel also because of the swimming pool on the roof so no luck there..)

The hotel itself is well located and very clean but the area is within isn't the best. Although it's as safe as anywhere else, there's a few tramps rough sleeping in the doorways which inevitably then stinks of pee with dirty paper they've wiped their backsides on and thrown on the floor. Turn away from La Ramblas and you feel like you're in the middle of a bazaar in Istanbul. Which is fine but don't expect authentic Catalonia!
