I stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel is clean and really comfortable, the double room was (too) big and the staff nice. It has a really great view - mine was towards the city. I gave it 4 and not 5 stars because it can be a bit noisy as the big ferry boats dock really close to it. However it was not so bad - it didn’t stop us from sleeping. I guess it’s the price you have to pay for staying literally on the sea (shore). Overall it was nice staying there.

I stayed here on vacation and I cannot fault the location as it was ideal to walk to the marina and through the main parts of Barcelona. The hop on hop of bus actually stops at the bus stop outside also which is helpful if you’re a tourist and tired after a long day out. This is also helpful that you can buy a ticket at the stop and just get on to your destination. The staff in reception, in the bar and during breakfast were always very polite and helpful and the way I would expect at any five star hotel. They were brilliant 👌 The breakfast itself was lovely and there was a lot of choice which is great for anyone that may need particular food choices. The roof top was nice to chill out on with a bar for convenience and a small swimming pool which was ok. My fault really was with the rooms and the cleanliness and lack of items being topped up by house keeping. We didn’t have any tea for a couple of days and when we got tea then we didn’t have milk. The towels were clean but the floors were not cleaned very well and could have been cleaned more thoroughly. These are small errors and while we enjoyed our stay, we just expect it to be a bit better with the rooms, cleanliness and services in them. Another helpful tip might be to add a folder with information. There was a QR code with hotel services but it might be helpful to have general info about the area. I have had this with previous hotels and it’s really helpful when you don’t know the area.

Great location and big clean rooms with a great view. Good variety of tasty food for breakfast. Very friendly staff who speak English! Beautiful terrace with a pool and a sea and city view. Only drawback was that we had a room with kinda thin walls, so we could hear noises and sounds from the room next to us sometimes (hairdryer sound etc). Also didn’t like some food in the terrace restaurant. Other than that, hotel and its staff is very good.

Definitely not a 5* hotel. I was incredibly disappointed with my stay here. Felt like a scam. Overall the staff are nice, and the hotel and rooms are really clean. The view from the roof was nice too. However the rest of the hotel really does not reflect the price. The hotel overall needs a refresh, it has an odd smell too in the shared spaces. Our biggest disappointment was the parking. It was 30€ a night! After paying extra for what is advertised as a luxury 5* hotel, you’d at least expect cheap or even free parking! You can park inside the city for a much cheaper rate. It’s an incredibly noisy hotel - there is little to no soundproofing. You’re on a dock and there’s huge ships sounding their horn at all hours - which I can understand. But, in the hotel you can hear everything, even someone walking past your room, or in the room next door, you feel that they are in the room with you. The rooms are a decent size, but is dated and not as luxurious as the shared facilities which was a huge disappointment. Plus the view from the balconies was not nice, we were facing a courtyard which was just not nice - you’re better off choosing a hotel in the city centre for the same price! I recommend staying somewhere else.

This is a fantastic hotel with a wonderful view. The rooms are so spacious, clean and with great showers. Breakfast is delicious, the patio and the bar area are really nice to sit down and enjoy a quiet time or a laughter with friends. But most of all the staff is the very best, so helpful and always with a beautiful smile ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💖☀️

A real five star hotel. Very luxorious, located close to the city. La Rambla street is a few minutes walk away from the hotel. The coffee machines are the bottleneck at the breakfast. Note: the roof pool is closed for the cold seasons unfortunately. Staff is kind and quick.

It's a wonderful place. The room I got was absolutely fantastic. Great view of the water. Wonderful atmosphere. An easy walking distance to the main attractions

This place does not deserve a 5 star rating. It is 3 star quality at best. The room was not adequately cleaned when we arrived. The whole hotel could use an upgrade. We ordered room service and it took almost an hour to have them answer the phone. When we finally got through, they told us 30 minutes on the phone when it took an hour and a half to receive our food. The gentleman who brought the food said he forgot the card payment machine downstairs and insisted I pay cash. I declined. He said he would be back in 20 minutes with the machine… 1hr later he returned and said the machine didn’t work. When I told him to just charge the room, miraculously his machine worked. The pool was very crowded all the time, it would benefit from longer hours. Had another issue with the pool bar where they said they couldn’t charge the meal to our room. At a 5 star establishment this is expected! It seemed the hotel is not adequately staffed. Housekeeping doesn’t come until well in the afternoon. The positives are the food was good, breakfast was nice, the staff is friendly and it is in a great location. Overall I was content with the stay but would pick a different 5 star location for the price I paid.

My favorite hotel in Barcelona! Close to Rambla but nice & quiet, close to everything actually :) big rooms, great bathrooms, good food at the restaurant, staff is super friendly and helpful, beautiful rooftop with great view. I stayed here probably 5 or 6 times… and every time it was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice and clean hotel with amazing views of the harbor. Excellent breakfast lay with extended hours to allow you to sleep in if required! Super friendly staff who were great with sharing recommendations of things to do around the area. Would definately come back!

It’s a great hotel. The breakfast was really good, and had lots of options: eggs, fruit, pastry, vegetables, waffles/pancakes. The cappuccino machine was also great. Our thermostat was in Russian, but got it to the desired temperature. Room sound insulation could be better, and someone was disassembling a walkway/structure that was very noisy, but overall it didn’t detract from the stay. Free WiFi. Friendly staff. It seems to be in a touristy area, but also close enough to get off the beaten path.

The hotel’s location was ideal preceding a cruise, but is nicely located regardless. My room was very spacious, but showing signs of age. It was nice to have a balcony. The sofa in the room was dilapidated. The tub was converted from a jacuzzi and no longer had operating jets. The multifunction shower was nice though the small jets were clogged. The breakfast buffet was very nice and service was excellent. Front desk staff were professional and efficient.

Two hours experience: - lady behind the counter needs definitely a school how to talk to the customers. Simple words like “please”, “sorry for the inconvenience “, “wish you a pleasant day “ or even thank you and not exactly a strong point of here. - view from the hotel pool bar towards the marina and city is astonishing, we see/hear at night how noisy passenger ships can be, - ladies at the pool bar -! Helpful, smiling all the time and provide proper service! Might give more starts after a week in here.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was clean and spacious, with OK amenities and a comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's location was also ideal, as it was close to many popular attractions and restaurants. It was easy to navigate the city from the hotel and explore all that Barcelona has to offer. In addition, the hotel's facility does have a fitness center, mini spa (actually it’s just Sauna in gym changing room), and OUTDOOR (not working on winter / early spring) pool, providing opportunity to relax and unwind. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes.

Sound isolation is practically not there. Cannot sleep with the people next door shouting, or people walking and talking in the corridor. Black moldy edges in the bathtub. The showering water cannot maintain an acceptable temperature range for over a minute - I was constantly switching between being cooked and cold as hell during shower. Window cannot be locked and the strong wind just blow open the window at midnight. Terrible experience.

Very poor service at Eurostars. This is not a 5 star hotel. Shower was not working properly (room 744), it kept blasting boiling water in between cold water. My friend burned his back quite badly. I went to the front desk to report and followed up with 3 phone-calls and nothing was done. Slow service in bar and toilet rolls not stocked daily. Paid for city tax during checking in and they claimed we did not pay. Shocking service. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Location was great for walking distance to lots of great shops and restaurants. For visiting destinations that are farther away there is always a taxi out front. Rooms are tidy, but nothing special. Not all seaviews have balconies and are often underwhelming (facing port with ships). Service was excellent and informative! I would probably stay somewhere else if I came again, but mostly out of desire to explore other areas of Barcelona

Absolutely not a 5 star hotel, neither the rooms and service. We booked a room with a king bed and we got 2 separate beds. On the reception they were very formal and quite rude. Not doing any effort to serve the clients. Next time we book The One, one of the best five stars hotels in Barcelona.

Massive rooms , very spacious and clean. I stayed for 1 night. It was right at the port. Beautiful view of the sunset and most of the rooms have Balconies too. The staff members were friendly and professional too. The food served in the restaurant area was good.

I have booked 2 rooms for 4 nights. I have made a special gift request 2 months in advance which they agreed upon. It was not done. When i tried to find a solution at the reception desk i was treated like a second hand costumer by the receptioniste. Don't bother booking this hotel. Book a 2 stars hotel that treats you with respect and you will be better off. Best regards, Alexandru.

I'm afraid it's a mixed bag of reviews. The location was superb, being close to the port to embark upon the Virgin Voyager south terminal 2. It was literally a 2 min walk from the entrance of the hotel. We were given a nice upgrade to a suite with a lovely small balcony overlooking the marina. Views were lovely. Bar service was good, and the wine choice was great! Room terrace restaurant - service spot on, food was incredibly slow 🐌 but tasted good once it finally arrived. Room service - awful 😖 I placed an order the night before for breakfast in the room for 9.am. however, it never arrived :( we finally got it, but it wasn't what we ordered. Rather than letting us know they didn't have dairy free yogart, they simply didn't bring anything 😞. Thankfully, they didn't charge us for this, especially given it took a whole hour to resolve. Those on reception were very helpful and likewise the chaps at the front.

Self rated as 5 stars. No true 24 hours room service. Spain appears to have a more relaxed view on star ratings. But even in their list quoted below it says 24 hours not a pause in service. What amazes me is that there are no restroom facilities for guests anywhere near chexk in. I wanted to give some break for covid but clearly by interaction its obvious service isn't a priority. I will say the bellman was very kind and helpful. "Room In five star accommodations you can expect luxury, spacious accommodations all with a balcony or terrace. Rooms will have an en-suite bathroom, that will typically be larger in size than four star bathrooms. Five star rooms will include all the trimming mentioned in four star hotel rooms but with extra facilities such as a 24 hour room services, a trouser press, fine quality furnishings, specially designed luxurious beds and bed linen. There will be specially designed rooms adapted for disabled guests, again however these should be requested upon booking as these conveniences will not be available in all rooms. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and towels and bed linen are also changed each day."

Booked this because it was close to the cruise port. Compared to other local hotels in Barcelona we've stayed in, the service here is outstanding from when we arrived. Our bags were immediately handled for us from the taxi and brought up to our room for us (which we weren't expecting, so have your tips ready if you would like to compliment the service accordingly). The location is not conveniently walking distance to eateries and sights, but the taxis, buses (including CityTour hop on hop off) stop by in front of the hotel. The room is spacious enough and well kept. It's also quieter here than hotels in the city. There are some cafes and restaurants beside the hotel as eating options, but these aren't focused on local Spanish cuisine. Make sure you visit the 8th floor. There you'll find a nice gym to workout, a pool and a great view of the Barcelona skyline and bay. I think many people don't check it out and miss these amenities.

Really enjoyed the location and proximity to attractions. Barcelona is soon to ban large cruise ships from the port right next to the hotel, but it really didn't cause much of an issue as indicated in some other reviews. Views from the room and rooftop bar are awesome, and the pool area, while small, was nice to sit at for a break from the city. The room was very nice with a terrific waterfall shower, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The rooftop bar was only opened Thursday -Saturday which was slightly disappointing.

I give the hotel a plus plus 5 stars, thank you to all the staff. We decided to stay here because of the close proximity to the cruise terminal. We had a wonderful room lots of space, super cool layout with balcony, very quiet. We purchased the breakfast with our stay, and it was really good, wide selections of both hot and cold items. Bottom line is the staff are all really nice. I will definitely choose this hotel brand when we return to Europe.

I had a very bad experience with the same chain in another city, but my experience in this hotel was amazing and I didn’t expect I will enjoy my stay. PROS: - Lovely staff, very supportive. He helped us with the early check in and the room was so good. - The size of the room is good and convenient. - Comfortable beds. - Bath size is perfect. - Location is amazing. CONS: - Nothing

The worst custom service I have ever experienced. It is not possible to contact this hotel. Whenever they are picking up the phone ( I happened 2 times they put you on hold right away and disconnect) They are not even answering to emails.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This web site will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't regret it. Outstanding service!!! Everyone was so friendly. Clean room. Nice rooftop outdoor restaurant with bar and live music. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice good fit for purpose good value for money. I like it. I wouldnt say it is really 5star, it is sort of 4.5 but close enough. Perfect location. Very spacious room, good gym and staff are well trained. Works for me.

The hotel has a very convenient location but when we were there the evening dining was not open so we ate at the bar. Food was good tasting and the grilled items were very good. The rooms were OK but they could use a little more attention to maintenance and upkeep.

  • 5/5 Nee K. 11 months ago on Google
All staff were fantastic, apart from the young lady who checked us in on the front desk, we were tired but upbeat - she was quite miserable which put a downer on things. Other male staff at the front were all really lovely, all prodfessional and friendly. Very nice room, best shower I've ever experienced in a hotel ever. Partition door could be insulated better, could hear next door room and they could hear us. Restaurant/bar could have been better too. Great location if you are taking the ferry anywhere.

  • 5/5 Roger B. 11 months ago on Google
My wife and I absolutely loved this place! The gals at the front desk are so kind, welcoming and helpful. It was worth every cent. I highly recommend adding the breakfast to your stay; you will not be disappointed. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the heart of everything; we didn’t use any transportation besides our feet all four days we were there, and we still couldn’t see everything. Our rooms were very clean, quite, comfortable and accommodating; the view was amazing. The breakfast buffet was so huge with top quality food that we didn’t have to eat again until dinner everyday (that saves quite a few euro) The rooms are large, beds comfortable and pillows soft and plentiful. A large quality television for late evening relaxing; a quaint little pool to cool off and an awesome bathroom for morning. You can hop a bus or grab a cab right outside the front door, or hop a ferry and visit an island. If you’re looking to relax and enjoy your stay while feeling 100% safe; stay here. Here’s a freebie tip: ask for a room with a balcony in the comments when you book your room; say please and thank you; and if they have it available, they will give it to you at no extra cost.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. Definitely not a 5 stars hotel. We arrived half an hour before the check in time and the room wasn’t ready yet. After a 9 hours flight and long waiting, we got a very outdated dirty floor room, with a bathroom door that was not opening or closing, and dirty blinds. We paid for a triple vip room and received a regular double room. After asking to change the room we were refused and had to wait for the cleaning and maintenance staff to fix the issues. Definitely not something you want after a long trip with kids. We felt like we just got scammed. We’re not planning on booking a stay here again. Please train your members better customer service if you claim to be a luxury hotel and of course if you want turists to come back.

Decent hotel. To say it’s a 5 star is LAUGHABLE however, no toilet paper in room, beds stiff as a door nail. Me and my cousin stayed in a hostel the day before and the HOSTEL had a better and more comfy bed. Checking out was also an absolute nightmare when it should be a quick 30 second procedure. Other than that nice place, nice rooftop. My cousin liked the nachos, i however thought they were a pitiful attempt

Quite unique and old hotel. It is located in a strategic place but far from the busy street of barca. Right by ferry and tourist gate. Rooms are spacious and clean. I got a studio with living room and changing room. Breakfast is decent at the hotel. The pool was under maintenance. The view from the roof is amazing. Taxis stop outside but not all the time. I think it worth coming back.

We had a nice experience at this hotel, location is great, rooms are nice with balconies. Hotel is a little dated and needs updating but we expected that based on the age of the hotel. Staff were friendly, breakfast had great options.

  • 5/5 Bita G. 1 year ago on Google
Pablo in the reception was phenomenal and super supportive. Despite of some issues at checking, he easily resolved the problem and accommodated us in the best possible way by upgrading our room. Hotel was wonderful and so convenient. Staffs were so friendly.

  • 5/5 Meghan Hokom S. 1 year ago on Google
Alexandria was phenomenal. She took absolute care of us during our entire stay. We even got an upgrade and a free bottle of champagne. Al staff members were attentive to my mother who needed special assistance. The Corner Bar serves standard drinks, but you go for the love music. Oh! The breakfast buffet is the best one I have ever been to. Spectacular!
