I was here in June, and it was really hot 🥵. They said they had air conditioning, but they didn't. We had to share one fan among 8 people in the room, and I couldn't sleep much at night. This place is good for young travelers aged 18-27, but it was really busy when we checked in. The staff was mostly nice. They charged for things like towels and storage – pretty much everything. The showers were okay. I got confused because we had to press a button to get water, and it only came out for a few seconds. I know they want to save water, but I don't understand why the sink didn't work the same way. In short, it's okay for a quick stay if you're just traveling and need a place to sleep. The location of this place is really good.

Wouldn’t recommend this hostel. I’ve stayed in many hostels and this was the least accommodating one by far. If you extend your stay, they make you check out and check back in, which means you don’t have access to the showers or rooms or floors for 4 hours in the middle of the day, and if you want to store your luggage, you have to pay them to rent a locker, even though you’re staying both nights. I ended up having to do this twice, and when I asked the receptionist why I had to pay for a locker, she said it “wasn’t my problem that you decided to make two separate reservations” and she was “doing me a favor” if she let me store my luggage for free even though I was a paying customer for multiple nights. She also kept telling me that I was getting a good deal so I shouldn’t complain, since I was there in the off season and therefore the beds were 11 euros a night. She said if I were paying 50 for a bed, she would understand why I didn’t want to rent a locker. Overall just very rude. You have to pay for towels and lockers and the prices are way steeper than other places I’ve stayed. The rooms are fine. The beds are creaky and the whole thing shakes if someone moves. The showers and bathrooms are pretty small and dingy. The kitchen is tiny tiny. I’ve stayed in large hostels before and they’ve done a much better job of making it work. The staff here just kept saying that they have 400 beds as an explanation/excuse for why they were being so unaccomadating. Location is great though, very central.

Completely overrated hostel, manager unsympathetic and arrogant, no kitchen, no stove, nothing to cook, only microwave. No cutlery, no dishes, no coffee cups. You can't call that a kitchen. Everyone was appalled by the condition and the equipment. Completely overcrowded fridges even though the hostel is only half full. I changed hostel and that was a good thing. Booked based on the pretty good reviews, that was a mistake. That's why I only book one day and extend it if everything is OK. This was nothing.

The social life here is great and staff is cool. The rooms are too hot for me and you can't open a window. It was often difficult to find quiet spaces. If that isn't important to you and you just want the social aspect and dig heat then this is a gem.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Number one best thing is the super helpful, friendly staff. Everyone I interacted with was awesome. Kelly in particular at the front desk went above and beyond when I needed some extra help. Also appreciated are the excellent curtains, and power outlets/private lights. The only areas I would point out as room for improvement, as other reviewers have mentioned: the balcony door cannot be opened for fresh air — why?! And the showers, while excellent in layout with shelves and hooks, are not great for water flow/temperature control. Also the top bunks are very challenging to get in and out of (disclosure: I’m about twice the age of most of the other guests I saw) — though again, the staff was very accommodating and moved me to a bottom bunk. Overall great experience for the money.

The rooms were clean and the hygiene was impeccable. The restaurant downstairs (Belushi's) makes great food and the price is affordable. In my case the experience was a bit ruined by one member of the staff who was really NOT pleasant. We were going to stay one more night, but the attitude he gave us in the morning made us leave for another place. I would still recommend the place, as the location is practical and the staff is nice overall.

Business travelers: Not a business friendly hostel at all. There are no lounges to work from, it's just possible to use the coffee area at specific times and music here is very loud. Room Infrastructure: beds are really comfy although there's no shelf, you need to sleep with your belongings in the bed as there's no table either anywhere. The room is really small for the amount of people sleeping inside and because it faces the avenue, the sound-proof window is locked, it smells like hell and leaves the room very warm. When asking to open the window so you can breathe a bit, you can't sleep because of the incredibly loud noises from outside (including the hostel bar), ear plugs can do the trick here. Guests are usually very noisy as well and there's no control for that. Toilets Infra: are also very small and used by many people, which makes it impossible to stay clean all the time. Pros: the team is really nice, reception is always available, beds are comfortable, bar area is indeed cool, nice promoted events (bike tours, etc), it's very close to the public transportation. In a nutshell, nice hostel for young people in party mood. Business travelers and families shall go somewhere else.

Such an awesome place to stay. This was only my second hostel experience but I highly recommend. The rooms were great, plus the curtain on the beds allowed for privacy. Belushi’s, the bar connected to the hostel, was where everyone gathered at night and went to the bars/clubs together. 10/10.

Lively vibes and good location. But everything smells, the showers are like gym showers and you can't open the windows in the room unless cleaners do it for you. Bed was comfy with clean sheets and good sized lockers. But I think there's better out there for same price

I had a great stay here. Everything is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The best part about the hostel is the restaurant and bar downstairs with really delicious food, and you get discounts if you are staying at the hostel. The rooms are big, so are the cages for your belongings, and the beds are comfortable and private with the curtains. I definitely recommend this hostel!

We had a great stay at this hostel! The facilities are clean and we loved the privacy curtain. The free welcome sangria is daily and a great way to meet other travelers! The AC was so nice at night as well. This is a party hostel. Unfortunately, we had some very loud and disrespectful travelers in our room which made it hard to sleep. They came back yelling after 4am every night for hours. I’m not sure how common of an experience this is, but it was disappointing.

Amazing location, friendly stuff members, nice bar. Truly enjoyed whole time!! Hostel was very clean, toilets and showers especially. There are lockers for personal stuff which u have to buy. U can buy towels at the reception as well. Elevator and doors work with a card that u get when u check in, so no need to worry about random people getting into your room.

This hostel was extremely clean, the staff were so friendly, and the people were nice. However my issue comes with the balcony being locked (only way to get airflow and it was very hot in the rooms), the showers you have to constantly press a button every few seconds to keep it on, there is no relaxing shower when the water turns off after 15 seconds, same with the lights, and other guests stuff was all over the sinks and showers leaving almost no room. Overall would definitely stay here again, but I’d wish they would fix those few things.

It was my first experience in a hostel. The location was amazing, you won't find a more central place to live! The hostel was cleaned all day long and we were obliged to wear a face mask in all areas, except our rooms, which was good to ensure a good level of protection against COVID. The breakfast was good with a good variety of food. The under bed storage was really good and spacious. I haven't given 5 stars only because the mattress and the pillow were a bit uncomfortable and the bed was a bit small for me (my height is 180 cm).

St Christopher is a good option to stay in Barcelona when you're traveling on a budget, but I feel it is lacking a lot of cleanliness. The rooms are dirty, the linens are stained, the rooms don't smell good. Common areas are not that good and rooms are a little tight. Personnel here was really friendly and helpful, the fact they have the restaurant/bar on the ground floor it's a plus. Restrooms and showers are not clean at all, and they don't provide any amenities.

Lina is a great tour guide! But I think it should be known that this is a huge chain of hostels and therefore if you have an issue there won’t be any or much help. The front desk workers are kind and great, but when the under bed locker in my room was broken and completely domed me in the eye, the managers told the workers that they would pay for any medicine I needed. When I brought back my receipt for ice and trash bags towels etc to make an ice pack, the managers said they couldn’t pay it because the receipt wasn’t itemized…. It was for 17 euros. It became something where they didn’t believe me and I wouldn’t have even said anything in the first place if it wasn’t offered. In the end both the front desk employee and I were crying and the managers were no where to be seen. A clean hostel in a great location and great walking tours. But know that unlike other hostels, this one will fight you over 17 euros after they have faulty equipment that can hurt you. Be careful!

The vibe of the place is amazing, the people are really friendly and there is a special atmosphere to the place. It is really, really clean, they clean the rooms and the bathrooms like more than 4 times a day. Also the location is great and the fact that is quiet inside the room and you can rest is amazing. Even if downstairs is a party in the bar, the sound doesn’t reach the rooms. Will definitely come back! See you soon guys!

This is a fantastic hostel for many reasons. First, the staffs are very helpful, kind and polite. Second, they organize many different activities, they day I arrived a girl named Lina organized a party. She is one the best there. Third, the location is perfect. It's city center and very well-connected. Forth, the rooms are clean. It's also a good place to meet new people during your trip. I do strongly suggest.

Some staff are extremely unhelpful. You can’t even imagine. All of your requests will be rejected trust me. They will charge you for everything. Even for a minute. They are saying, we are backpackers hostel, really? because I thought other hostels are for businessman. They don’t offer any solutions, just repeat same nonsense over and over again. You can’t even extend your stay easily. There are rules and rules. But rules only valid when you ask something, otherwise no one cares. But when you say anything, they are like you disrespect to us. Looks like they are very emotional and fragile. Should I listen the same speech fifth time? I am trying to extent my stay but the guys in the reception is talking about cleaners. Impossible to sleep well because of noise. Location looks good but just on the map. There are better places for better prices with better location.

I recently stayed here on 4 occasions. The cleaners were always working. I was amazed at their dedication to keep the entire place spotless. Plus they were so pleasant. Toilet/Bathrooms are as pictured on the web, so no surprises, and everything worked as it should. I never(!) had to wait for either, so there are plenty of them on every level, and quite close to the dorms. Rooms often with great city views! The bar next door is kinda part of the venue. As a solo traveller (and older than the norm,) it offered many opportunities to meet others. The hostel holds fun daily events there. The fact that I went back 4 times tells you how good it is.

Overall the hostel is better than 2 stars but charging 6 euro for luggage storage is absolutely ridiculous. Luggage storage should be a free service for hostel guests or at most a small charge like 1-2 euro. At 6 euro it is more expensive than most luggage storage locations and in fact this hostel also acts as a bounce luggage storage location and will store a strangers bag for cheaper than a paying hostel guest (5 euro vs 6). Also online they try to coerce you into buying breakfast by saying you save 1 euro buying online but it is the same price at reception desk (7 euro). Revise your luggage storage and remove false advertising for cost savings. These ruin an otherwise good experience.

I had the best time here! The rooms were clean as well as the bathrooms/shower rooms all clean. They had meet and greets every night to meet people(with free sangria!) and the bar next to it is affiliated with the hostel so it's so easy to meet people. It's also super close to la rambla and only a 10/15 walk to the gauthic quarter really the location was ideal. This was my first time in a hostel and it definitely made me want to do it again!

If you're looking for a hostel with an excellent location, this one is definitely worth considering. However, as with any prime location, you pay the price for it. Despite this, I still think it's a plus, since it's so convenient to everything. The bed was decent, but the best part was definitely the curtain, which gave me a sense of privacy in a shared space. The lockers under the bunk beds were also spacious enough for my backpack, which was a relief. The biggest downside was the lack of air conditioning, even though it was advertised. I asked the staff to look into it, but nothing was done for the three nights I stayed there. It was so hot that I felt like a chicken in a hot oven. Aside from the heat, the hostel experience was pretty standard. People snored, came and went at all hours, and made noise with their packing and talking. But that's all part of the hostel life, and something you have to accept if you choose to stay in a shared room. Overall, I'd recommend this hostel for its location and amenities, but just be aware that the lack of air conditioning could be a major issue if you're staying during the hotter months

This hostel is on one of the main busy streets and within walking distance to almost everywhere, so I can’t stress enough how convenient it was to stay here. Don’t worry about noise at night because I didn’t hear a thing! I love it that operations here are so thought out! They offer a wide range of services, from welcome drinks, free breakfast, paella show, walking tours to bike renting. I didn’t use all of them, but I did do laundry and send out some postcards. For laundry, there’s a laundry room on the first floor. Detergent is purchased at the reception, a 30-minute wash costs 3€ and a 40-minute dry costs another 3€. For postcards, they have 1€ postcards, postal stamps and a mail box at the reception. The dorm room is quite spacious and the bed comes with a curtain which gives privacy. One small minus is the socket near my bed which didn’t work. A bigger minus is that they have iron cage for storage, which makes a lot of noise when pushed in and pulled out. It is especially annoying early in the morning and late at night and for light sleepers like me. Also, bring your own padlock or rent one at the reception for security! The shower room has enough room for everyone, and I love it that they have a separated section in the bath for hanging clothes and keeping stuff dry. I’ve stayed at many hostels and I’ve seen that design nowhere else! The hair dryer in the shower room is quite weak and small though, so it’s better to borrow one from the reception (bring your ID with you!). Last but not least, the people at the reception are so lovely and helpful! I come to them with questions and they never failed to deliver a solution or answer. So yes, I enjoyed my stay here.

I'd say book from their website to get amazing deals and it costs less on their website than ot does on the hostel booking apps. For the price paid, it's a great deal. Rooms are clean and nice. They have electronic lockers which you can rent for 4 euros onwards to store luggage or just lock in your stuff at the metal grill compartment under the bunk beds using your own padlock. The washrooms are common on each floor and they might seem a bit inconvenient to some people. Generally there were separate washroom and bathrooms for male and females. Bunk beds are nice with your own small light and a charging port and a privacy curtain which I really appreciate. Common area is great with a lively and welcoming environment.

Had a great time with Lina at the Welcome Meeting! There’s so many fun tours I have signed up for! Totes recommended for solo travelers! You should also make time to take a tour with Jaz because she was so fun and gave us great info during the Gaudí tour! Next time I come to Barcelona, I will be returning to this hostel ☺️

The place is decent. Good beds, curtains for each. Nevertheless it is not more than that. Showers are ok-, same for toilets. You can really feel they try to squeeze every euro possible out of you while minimizing their cost at a maximum. It is an industrial plant. But they are ideally located and it seems they do sometimes nice promotions. There are definitely better hostels in Barcelona.

The location is perfect. Everything is super near. The staff were all friendly and open for some small talk. The chill out area on the 1st floor was also lovely and a cool place to get to know more people. I liked my stay here very much and would recommend it for your stay in Barcelona.

I was here for a whole week and I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful and it was always really clean. The locker spaces under the bed were huge and you can safely store your stuff there. Also the bar downstairs is great and I’d totally check it out. 10/10 would recommend.

"This hostel stands out as one of the best I've experienced. The staff is friendly, the place is impeccably clean, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. Considering the great service, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff, the price is definitely reasonable. I highly recommend this hostel."

I like the concept of cabins, kind of private bed. Close to city center, specially Gaudi architecture. It is also close to restaurants and shopping center. I love the free lessons that offer for the guest. I feel super comfortable in Barcelona. Thank you!!!

Loved my trip here. Would definitely stay again. There are so many group activities and they 100% try to instill a community at this hostel. Only downfall is that they don’t have ac so you may die of heat exhaustion! But if you survive, you’ll def have a great time. Loved Lyna our tour guide. She took us to a 360 view panorama of the city completely free. Great time here!

  • 5/5 Luise B. 10 months ago on Google
Absolutely loved the fact that the beds had curtains, made everything so much easier. Really clean showers and bathrooms. My favorite thing was the amount of events the hostel had, so cool, every hostel should do that! Most of the staff were really nice, some of them could be nicer tho, totally get if they were having a bad day. Overall I would totally go back!

It was my first time staying in a hostel and I didn’t know what to expect. But it reminded me a lot of my time living in the college dorms. The location was so convenient, plenty of access to different transportation options and shops. The one thing stopping me from giving a full 5 stars is that the rooms were advertised as having air conditioning but they definitely did not. It was quite warm the nights I stayed and I hate sweating in bed. Otherwise, I liked the full curtains across the bed, helped add a little privacy. The lockers were a good size, fit my hard-sided carryon laid open which helped for easy access to grab things as I needed them. I brought my own lock just to help give me peace of mind. Since I stayed in the female dorm option, towels were provided which I greatly appreciated. Payed for the breakfast option as well which included cereal, juices, bread, sandwich fixings (meat, cheese, etc.)

Great experience overall. Staff is very friendly. Free tours everyday and a lot of activities. Jaz our tour guide was super friendly. She was very energetic and genuinely loves what she does which made the experience even more enjoyable and genuine. She carried with her Sangria for everyone on the tour so that we can all enjoy it on top of the bunker during the tour. She is always available to provide recommendations about food or coffee shops. Ask for her at the check-in desk if she is giving the tour. Highly recommended!

Great location, clean rooms and bathrooms, very friendly staff! The hostel had a bar where you could meet other travelers and also held daily events, including guided walks around the city. Special shoutout to our very energetic, informative, and personable tour guide Jasmine who made our stay memorable!

The rooms were very clean, if not a bit stinky from all the people. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. They give you good recommendations and deals at the bar downstairs. That being said, Barcelona has a huge theft/pickpocketing problem and my phone was stolen from me IN THE HOSTEL. I don't blame the staff at the hostel because it is impossible to have super tight security when you have hundreds of people coming in and out, but my phone was lifted by someone who managed to get into the stairwell, and even though we got him entering and leaving on video, there is nothing we could do about it. Just a warning to always be on your guard, even when you are in the hostel. Other than that, the people were very friendly, and the hostel had a great vibe and location.

I could not have booked a better hostel for my first ever visit to Barcelona! The rooms were clean and the staff were extremely friendly! Special shout out to Lina who made me feel thoroughly welcomed to the hostel, she made me feel at ease! Lina provided you extensive knowledge on her tours of Barcelona! She gave amazing recommendations for places to eat and drink! Definitely recommend booking a tour or just having a beer with her in the hostel bar!

The location is very convenient. Rooms are spacious but beds are too narrow. There’s no self in the showers to put your stuff. The rooms don’t get cleaned as often as they should! The people at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The security guards are very rude. The security guard at the breakfast buffet refused to take my ticket and started repeating mask!!! Instead of taking the ticket and asking to keep my mask on and of course saying “please” is the what we were taught of even as a KID!!!!

I have been to much better hostels with amenities and welcoming atmosphere. There was no real common area to meet people. The washrooms and dorms were smelly. Our particular dorm has a light on the entire night and could not be turned off electrical problem. So did not get good sleep. The staff guy said the “maintenance” person would fix it but no one did. And the showers turn off by themselves ever ten seconds you have to keep pressing the on button cant wash hair or shower nicely.

This hostel is an absolute gem for solo travelers and those backpacking with companions. It's a place where you instantly make new friends who become your lunch and dinner companions. What's more, every night at 1AM, the hostel's representative leads a group of guests to various clubs, making your stay even more memorable. Simply superb!

This hostel was super fun. We were here as 2 girls and felt quite safe. There was lots of atmosphere and we had free Sangria every night. Our host Maria was super nice and welcoming and took us all around the town! The rooms are great but the bathrooms could be better. Thanks Maria!

I stayed in a 12 room dorm! I loved it! There are curtains on the bed for privacy and big storage space! Overall everyone is really nice, both employees and people staying there! Definitely a hostel experience, so be prepared to feel like you're in camp or back in a college dorm! The location is central to everything, I would reccomend!

The beds are large, comfortable, and quite spacious! They come with a curtain so that’s nice for added privacy. There’s an under the bed drawer to store your luggage - super efficient. A cleaning person comes daily to clean the rooms. Bathrooms were clean and water gets hot. The reception is open 24 hours which is nice and everyone was friendly enough and can speak English. The location is superb! So many things close by from shopping to restaurants and the metro is literally across the street. The food at the restaurant is decent and the discount is always nice. I would totally recommend this place to anyone staying in Barcelona and I most definitely would choose to stay here again if I ever find myself in Barcelona again! Kudos!! :)

Location was excellent, staff was sufficiently polite, the windows are blocked at night and the air condition is off. We were 10 in the room, it was very hot. The air was not renewed at all. Very interesting concept under covid times…. Thank you for risking the creation of clusters! In all other hostels I visited since March 21, windows were constantly open to allow ventilation.

Pretty nice hostel, but the staff isn't very friendly. They messed up our booking and then charged us a high price to correct it (made us pay for more expensive 8 dorm, while we staid in a 12 bed dorm) that we had booked prior. Took them more than an hour to figure out what was going on. Not even an apology was offered.

  • 4/5 Marios L. 2 years ago on Google
Overall a good place to stay, but I didn't like that they force closed windows (and locked them from anyone opening them). The rooms got very stuffy and hot at night. Also I didn't recieve my key deposit once I returned the key, so don't forget to ask for that.

  • 1/5 Martina V. 2 years ago on Google
The communication with the reception is bad. I had to cancel my flight because of sudden sickness and although they told me I can modify the dates of my stay, they have canceled my reservation in the end. I didn't receive my money back of course. It wouldn't be so upsetting if they you could at least explain it since it must have been misunderstanding between us. In the time of covid it is strange they aren't able to change the dates of stay.

Showers and bathrooms were clean and plentiful, there was a lot of showers and toilets, rare that you had to wait for someone to leave. PS. beware when being on the bottom bed because the top bunk has a gap that stuff falls which happens to me thrice LOL

Fantastic hostel in the city centre. The staff was very kind and the hostel is so clean! The shared bunk bed rooms were really lovely. Every bed has its own personal light, plug, and curtain for privacy. There is also a large pull out drawer under the bed with an option for a lock for your belongings. In my room we also had a small sitting area near the windows to relax and socialize. The common area was nice as well as the bar attached to the ground floor.

The worker here is amazing, specially the reception. The location is more than wonderful 3 minutes far from the center. But the security of tonight 31/12/2021 time 3:00 am, he doesn’t know how to do his job he informs me that I can’t drink beer zero alcohol and I have to go out !!!!!! And then I asked the reception he said I can and he talks with security and he told him that I can. Then he asked me to always bring the cared of the door I told him that we are three we don’t need three cards maybe we will lose it so we go with one card only he said no next time take it !!!!! I’m not working under you and he is not friendly at all and not nicely talking ( if he just informed me or was talking nicely and polite with me I won’t write this message ) it’s just happened before 30 minutes from I posted this message

Fantastic hostel, probably one of the best I've stayed in during my time in Europe. The guided tour to the Bunkers with Lina was super fun and the sunset was beautiful. Highly recommend this hostel. :)

I loved it here. Great environment. Great service. Great location. Like, reeeeally great location. Price wasn’t particularly cheap (compared to others) but I wouldn’t mind paying in an hostel that’s worth it. They organize parties almost every night. There’s a bar inside the hostel. I liked it.

Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and private, each bed had a curtain that blocked out all light which was awesome! Each bed had a locker underneath, though you do need your own lock (you can rent one at the front for a few euro). The location was ideal, all in all a great experience, would go back for sure!

Place was very nice but a lot of staff were not friendly at all. One came into a room being shares by me and my friends at 3:45am without knocking to tell us our room was dirty and that we ‘live like pig’ which was odd. Just to clarify our room was well kept and we did not live like pig!

Very nice place. The hostel is clean with very wide beds and reasonable prices. Viktor is a very kind guy, helped us a lot with booking. They also have parties every night, so you will have an opportunity to meet new people and get acquainted with nightlife of Barcelona

Central, cordial, ideal! Highly recommend the tours (we did the bike and streetart tour) with Octavio to get to know the city at its best and also to get to places you would not find otherwise. Also super cheap and entertaining. In general, the hostel has everything you need: Activities, party, friends, but also cleanliness and safety. Great experience!

The reception and bar staff were very friendly. Discount on food and drinks when staying in the hostel. And nice food too. This place needs two small improvements. One Is the storage area for bags. Too expensive for what it is and also problems with people paying for lockers already taken. And two I feel the free breakfast for long term guests should be extended until 11 instead of 10. Overall nice place though ,:)

The vibe of the hostel is good and young. The bed was cleaned and pleasant. The downside of this hostel and the reason I am giving 3*, the restrooms I believe should be cleaned more frequently and the security guy is feeling too much pressure on his shoes, keeping a cool vibe will give a better image to a cool hostel.

We stayed in the st Christopher’s in Bruges and had a blast and figured it would be the same here. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this one! Upon arriving we noticed a large amount of children on our floor in the hostel, running around the hallways, playing loudly and shouting and laying on the floor. I’m assuming it was a school trip as none of them could have been over 14, and obviously not supervised well. I understand this is a youth hostel, but being that their is a bar downstairs and many people are trying to party and get ready to go out, having children around really kills the vibe. The other issue was how ridiculously hot it was in the room. Air conditioning was advertised but there was absolutely no airflow in the room at all. They locked the windows and would only open them for a few hours during the day, but by nighttime the temperature was unbearable and was incredibly stuffy. It was also quite gross as since the air is not circulating at all we were breathing in other peoples germs all night. They did not even provide fans to alleviate the situation. Seeing as it’s November and quite cool, I can’t imagine what it would be like in the summer. Absolutely absurd and made sleep extremely difficult. I feel like there are better places to stay in Barcelona.

Clean, friendly staff, and I felt safe here. Curtains on the beds are great, and big lockers in dorms are big enough for a suitcase, but bring your own lock! There’s lots of common spaces and lockers to leave luggage for up to 24 hours for a small fee which is great. Due to the large bar downstairs, it was always quite crowded in the evenings, and lots of people come back to the rooms late, so not ideal if you aren’t in Barcelona to party.

The hostel is really well-kept and clean. Perfect location. The staff is super friendly, especially the guy with the beard and long hair at the front desk (whose name we unfortunately don't remember) was really nice and helped us a lot with some logistical problems we had. We also joined a really interesting tour in Barri Gòtic organized by the hostel and led by Maria, who was the nicest. Great place to stay if you want to visit the city, but also make friends. :)
