I can't say enough nice things about the staff, everyone made us feel welcome! We had a last minute change in our reservation and the hotel staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. The location is very close to food, shopping, and the metro. The plaza does tend to have homeless people staying overnight on the church steps, but at no point did I ever feel unsafe being in the plaza or walking around late at night. My favorite part of the hotel is the balcony overlooking the plaza, It is truly an unforgettable experience. 11/10 for staff, 10/10 for rooms, and 8/10 for location. If you like being treated like a distinguished guest I highly recommend you give this hotel a try.

Disappointed because cleaning is not done between 2 rentals, hair everywhere, dust and hair on hair dryer and edges, bathroom it only cleans the bowl. I complained and I have another 1 room of better quality but in the end almost as badly cleaned. In August 150 euros per night when it is worth 60 thanks to the location. Lots of noise, doors slamming, you can hear housekeepers and neighbors! No other services in this hotel is a tourist trap that finds no other solutions. In France this hotel will have few customers.

The employees are very unfriendly and the breakfast was not worth the money. When we found assumed bed bugs they gave us a new room, but said that they didn't believe us. We then also talked to the manager, who said they would book a poisoner to check if they find any more eggs of the bugs, but we then hear him talking in spanish to the other employee saying that he doesn't believe us, he didn't know we knew spanish. We had visible proof of the bugs, on a toilet paper, bites on our legs and photos. We got refunded one night, but only after we had shown our proof of the bugs. The location is nice, but otherwise this hotel does not give you what it should for its price. Also you can hear everything through the walls.

I have a huge complaint about the front desk receptionist man who attended me. I had to check in late at at night unexpectedly because of an emergency and the man had zero empathy! He told me off for checking in at night (I literally had nowhere else to go and had to work in the morning, so I explained him that). He was very rude and when I met him again the next day, he gave me a hard time again (!) and gave me an attitude about having to pay for the remaining night, which I was fine with. So he really didn't have to nag and be that aggressive, especially after I told him I had had an emergency. His colleague was there too and I told him that is not the way you talk to a guest, and all he had to say is: "We're not the owners of the hotel". So you only have to be polite if you're the owner?! I have no words, worst treatment ever and the area is very sketchy and not safe at night. A horrible experience.

Very easy to access the point of interest where you want to go in Barcelona. Booked this hotel to stay in Barcelona for one week. So far I love it because it is very convenient to get anywhere in Barcelona. Another 7 more days to stay in this place. Seem like I will love to stay in this place. First time will be in Barcelona, then I will recommend this place will works for you!!!!!!!

Hotel rooms are nice and quaint. The air conditioning worked wonderfully! It was so hot out, so it was nice to come to a very cold room. The hotel room patio is very strange though. Service was a bit rude. The location is good, but it is in a dirty area.

This was our first visit in Barcelona. We had a good one week stay here. Dispite the few negative points it was OK, but we'd stay in a better neighborhood next time. It was just too busy, noisy and smelly.

There are a lot of homeless people that gather out the front of the hotel which did make me feel uncomfortable at times. The hotel is in a great location. It’s within walking distance to the metro, Las Rambla Street and the Boqueria Market. The room was very pleasant and the bed was comfortable.

Service - Top class all around from every single member of staff. From front of house to breakfast staff and cleaning staff. Friendly, polite, and easy going. Rooms - Cosy decor. Good ventilation. Good lighting. Most importantly, super clean! My only gripe is the mattress. It is far too soft. Hopefully your back can bear this! Pillows are also very flat, two will help but adds too much height. Location - A stone's throw away from the station and just off the main hustle and bustle of La Rumbla. However, the downside is that it is situated in a square where homeless and local wraiths linger all day and night. They are harmless, but expect all the lovely aromas that urine emits.

The Sant Agusti Hotel is literally steps away from La Rambla and Mercado de La Boqueria. We stayed in a triple room on the top floor. It was comfortable, clean well decorated, and has character. Good wifi and water pressure. We could hear other guests in their rooms and could hear noise from the street. I would not recommend getting their buffet breakfast as there are tons of places nearby to eat, including an amazing bakery across the street. Overall a great experience and would stay there again.

Excellent location right next to La Rambla but not too hectic. Really simple rooms but they were clean and room had aircon. The reception/entrance area was gorgeous and was manned 24/7 which made you feel really safe especially late at night

Lovely atic room, very aesthetic. Good for the price. Complaints: Should do something with the exteriors because sometimes feels unsafe. Finally, we ask info about breakfast and the front desk employee was kind of rude when answering. Besides that, all good.

Rooms were quite comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Especially enjoyed the coffee machine and my expresso! Plus it was so close to La Ramblas. Although La Ramblas is less than a block away, this hotel is on a quiet courtyard. The small coffee shop on the corner is also a plus.

Stayed here recently on a trip to Barcelona and it was perfect! Great location in the city, room was a great size (a little tiny, but exactly what we expected; big skylights in the top floor bedrooms; huge bathtub and shower; comfy bed and sitting area!), and people at reception were very helpful. Loved the history behind this historic building and would definitely stay here again!

Clean and tidy room, other reviewers have complained regarding noise but i have no such complaints. Good location with many attractions within walking distance. The market is 30 seconds away too for snacks!

A brilliant hotel located in an amazing location. If you're a first time visitor to Barcelona want want to be close to Las Rambla, Hotel Sant Augusti is a 2 minute walk away. I was a little apprehensive when I read some of the reviews of this hotel, mainly due to its location on the cusp of El Reval - although the area may seem intimidating to begin with, exercise caution as you would in any largely touristic city and you will be fine. The hotel itself is located in a small plaza next to a convent, there is a local bar opposite, a great little bakery and is 30 seconds away from the entry to La Bouqaria. The hotel has recently been renovated, the rooms are cosy, clean and modern. Many feature a balcony over-looking the plaza. Great room service each day with fresh bed sheets and towels if you require them, a TV, safe and mini fridge are also amenities in the rooms. The bed was decent, not overly comfortable but it did the job. The only feedback I have, mainly for visitors hoping for a peaceful sleep, the walls are incredibly thin and the doorway to your room goes directly into the main room without a 'hallway' as you typically get in many hotel rooms. For this reason, you can hear every passing guest or hotel worker at all hours of the day chatting away on the landing or accessing the cleaning storage closet. The street outside can be a little noisy, to be expected in any major city, my room was on the first floor so quite close to the street, maybe if you are higher up this won't be so much of a problem, but I did find the general city noises and the shouts of late night revellers to be a little disruptive, however, not enough to stop me from staying again.

Nice hotel, if you love the natural stone? Then room wall will give you that vibe. Though my room at the E wing so much noise due to busy city centre.

Great hotel and located in the perfect area! I only stayed one night, but everything was incredibly smooth! The rooms were very clean and the breakfast selection looked great as well! It is located just a 1 minute walk from La Rambla walking street and a 5 minute walk from Plaza Catalunya where the airport bus will drop you off!

Nice hotel but on plaza of the homeless. We were warned not to go out after dark. But it was very close to las ramblas. Convenient to everything. Two cafes within steps of front door

Rooms are quite small but dont let that sway you as the room was a quiet/dark room, and really thats all you want. A/C worked perfect, and you need it in the heat of Barcelona in the evening, shower is very good. The room was a secure room with carded access

Stayed on the top floor for two nights after a cruise and it was a very chill stay after a busy week! The windows were our biggest draw and we loved how you could open and close them with the press of a button (you can even control where the shutter stops if you only want a lil light to come through). The bathroom was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable, however the space with the bed was a bit small and the walls are thin; you could hear other guests coming and going in the hallway, however I don’t believe we heard our neighbours while they were in their rooms. We were a little apprehensive of the area from other reviews, but honestly it’s no less safe than any other street on the gothic quarter. There were a few people experiencing homelessness around but they never approached us as we came and went. The hotel reception staff are friendly and patient, even with our subpar Spanish lol. Also you can drop off your luggage before official checkin so that was super nice!

From the very beggining, we were not well treated by the lady. We said "hello" and she took her suit time to answer and never even looked at us. She was not pleasant and kept it like that. The room is really beautiful, but dirty and tiny. We found a dirty and used gillette on the shower, rest of cigars in the varanda and a dirty stain in the bed. Not what I was expecting, mainly gor my birthday. I hope it improves tomorrow.

Great location just off Las Ramblas, our room was overlooking the square and was suprisingly quiet considering the amount of foot traffic outside of the room. The room was modern, clean and tidy and had comfy mattresses. Our room had 3 beds despite selecting a double room however this was not an issue. Good storage and maid service daily. We did not select breakfast. Reception open 24/7 with great air conditioning and kind staff, bag room to leave your bags if you are being picked up after checking out. The only issue with the room was the bathroom has a glass screen meaning people in the room can see in, so depending on who you’re sharing a room with this may be an issue. Overall great hotel and suited our stay perfectly, will be recommending to others.

Excellent location, within walking distance from everything. The room was good, mattress very good, a bit noisy whichever side of the hotel you choose because of the road and square and facilities were basic. Overall though it was a good experience.
