Very nice hostel. I recommend staying here :) I stayed in a female dorm for 6 girls, quite spacious. Each bed had own power socket, lamp, little shelf and a big locker with key (no need for own padlock). They also provided towels for free. The bathrooms are nice, shower and toilet separate. Two showers, two toilets on each floor. Hand soap, hand towels provided. They have hairdryer. The kitchen is really spacious, has everything you need to cook a meal. There is free tea, coffee, little sweet croissants every day (not from the bakery, but store bought). The internet works really well. The staff is super nice and attentive. Each room has an AC. Very clean, cleaned every day. The neighbourhood is safe and close to many touristic attractions. All in all I really enjoyed my stay in Buba House : )

There is no air conditioner, so it was a bit suffocating, and the few equipment in the room. Remember to ask for the hairdryer which is not provided in the room or the shower room!!! And they don’t offer free gel and shampoo. However, the breakfast was really great relevant to the price of this place, unlimited amount to have, multiple choices for drinks. And the staff is nice and hospitable!

First of all, the location is great. Right in the center of Barcelona, near various forms of public transport, lots of bars and restaurants nearby and close to different shops. The hostel itself was a little bit of a disappointment. The staff was very nice and helpful. But, the beds squeaked when one person moved, the beds didn't have any privacy, the locks of the lockers didn't lock, there where two bathrooms on the first floor and both where quite small and both of the showers didn't drain. Unfortunately it made the experience of staying at Buba House not very pleasant and I wouldn't come back here.

Avoid this place at all costs. The bathrooms were dirty. The ventilation in the room was POOR. We couldn’t sleep. The common area is next to non-existent. You could hear conversations from the window that overlooks another building less than two meters away. The price might be tempting but AVOID if you have the chance. Location was ok I guess.

Had a very nice stay. Friendly staff. Only thing to mind is the warmth of the rooms.

Facilities were pretty good for what you pay for. Cleanliness has to improve, it seemed like they had reused the sheets instead of changing them, bathroom needed daily cleaning.

-Hot room, window to a wall rather than outside from where u can hear loud music from neighbours at 8 am and literally everything they talk or do -in the last night there was no water so since 12 pm and in the morning, so we were unable to shower or brush our teeth, not to mention not being able to flush the toilets. In a shared bathroom!! No alternative option offered for using toilets or showering -cockroaches everywhere in the bathrooms -no lock on the common bathroom door, people would just come in while taking a shower. Or while being on the toilet! -only 1 key to share for a 2 person's room so quite uncomfortable to come back to the hostel at different hours The only good thing about this hostel is the location. Also, the staff was nice Would not book again

It was the first time that I stayed in a hostel and shared a room with women that I don't know. It was a positive experience and I felt there good. Was clean, can't complain and I can see they take care of the place. We got fresh bedsheets and each got one towel too. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. We could even leave our bags after check out. Was nicely warm in the room which was important for me because my visit was in December. The location is very good too. Negative: -water in the shower was very slowly going down - can be improved -Noise from the outside. We're in the centre of Barcelona though so I think it's understandable..

Communication was quite good before, during and after my stay. Felt like home...Staff is super friendly - special thanks (muchas gracias!) a Tini! Location is absolutely recommended!

Loved this hostel. Quite cozy, with a nice kitchen and good cleanliness. Very friendly and flexible staff. Location was perfect as well. I only stayed one night but would definitely come back!

Super cheap and centric hostel. Simple but functional, a modern interior design. The girl in the reception is super nice and the rooms and common area are tidy and clean. A really good option if you want to spend some days in Barcelona.

at first, it was hard to find because it was on the second floor of an apartment in the block, but then we find it is really good. although we can't see the city from the window, but the service was really great. they provided us a kitchen that we can use to boil water, heat the food, even cook with the electric stove!! there was a free tea to drink, kitcheneries to use, and breakfast is really great with lots of jam, fresh breads and boiled eggs. we could check out from 9 to 11 AM, but then we can put our belongings there while we are strolling in the city of barcelona. the bed is nice, neat and the bath is warm and nice.

The staff is really friendly and helpful ! The bedrooms are ok. It is very hot during summer and we only have one fan that doesn’t spin ... it’s mainly for one or two persons maximum ... the rooms get really hot. Other than that, beds are comfy and there are lockers for your valuables. The shower downstairs for girls is really too small and a bit outdated. To my knowledge, there is no common areas to chill with all your friends or to meet people. The location is ideal to explore by foot.

Extremely friendly stuff. The place was clean and appropriate the price. One star less is for not following corona restrictions, no recycling(!!) and the noisy upper metal bed

We enjoyed staying at Buba house. The location was great, central to many of the activities and places that we wanted to visit. The employees were so friendly and hospitable and made the stay comfortable. The rooms were cozy and bathrooms were clean, however, it was very hard at night to sleep and unless the window was completely open due to the heat. We had a fan that was provided, and I am sure that in the cooler months sleeping without AC would be much more comfortable. Also, it says there is free breakfast but that just means that you can have coffee and toast that they have in your kitchen, so if you are expecting something different, just be aware of that! I would recommend staying here though if you can mind the heat :)
