The hotel is far away from a 4* as they advertise and as they charge. I’ve spent 2 nights there and I felt scammed. I wanted to leave before the first night. The hotel interior (except the reception) is old and without any kind of “taste”. The wardrobe in the room was missing a door. The minibar was empty. The bathroom could be described as almost “disgusting”. The walls were thin and you could hear anybody talk and slam their door. If you are looking for a 4* hotel, this is the one to avoid. Positive things are that it is close to the beach and the staff is kind and would help you with anything.

The hotel is aged. Carpets in the hallways need to be replaced, the whole hotel has a weird smell. The rooms are dated, the bathrooms an embarrassment. The breakfast seems ok, but the coffee is really bad quality, further there is no selection of bread, only toast bread. The staff is really nice, the beds are also comfortable.

One of the worst customer services I have ever experienced. Extremely unprofessional GM in Mr Jose Luis Alfonso. Treated differently because of my race and nationality. I would strongly advise to stay away from this hotel. Barcelona is a great city and there are far better and affordable places to stay than the Eurohotel Barcelona - Diagonal Port.

Worst hotel experience ever, even if it was my 6th stay in Barcelona. We had transfer at 7.30 am 2 adults 2 kids, they didn't allow us to have breackfast before 7.30 though it was already paid. Bad attitude from staff, please teach them the early breakfast concept, all decent hotels know it. Altered food at breakfast (the boiled eggs, ham and cheese, sour pineapple and watermelon). The bacon got darker and darker each day, probably never changed only re-fried. Next time in Barcelona, we'll just go somewhere else, the neighbors in Front Maritim were far better last year. Unfortunately bad luck this time.

Horrible rooms . Super old . Rusty old metal beds with super horrible sound. Need renovation. Breakfast super cheap food quality. I have no idea how this hotel is 4 stars . The only plus is the location. My message to the owner. Don't be cheap . This is an investment. You need to spend money on it so you can bring it back with profits. Internet and people reviews will get you eventually exposed

Stayed for 3 nights (a friend booked it) and was worried due to the mixed reviews, but the only real complaint I had was that there was no water bottle or kettle in the rooms, but I would go and ask for a cup of hot water to make myself some tea at the reception and they gave me one, so that was fine. Staff were nice, beds were comfortable, room did not look outdated. Breakfast was good. Had no trouble with the wifi either. Location is nice as it is close to the beach, but requires a metro trip to the city center. A/C settings are seasonal and it got a little hot overnight during our stay in late April, so we had to cool the room by opening the window overnight (not much of a problem).

The family at AtlasAdventured highly recommends this hotel! Our family stayed in this hotel in July 2023. We had been looking for something closer to the beach, but still a close distance to the heart of Barcelona, surrounded by restaurants, and of course, budget friendly. Euro Hotel Barcelona Port checked every box for us! The location is perfect, directly across from Mar Bella Beach (which is a beautiful sandy beach with a few cafes along the water), and is situated in the PobleNou district of Barcelona. This area is known for its extensive cafes and tapas bars. Restaurants, pharmacies, groceries, and shopping are all within a short walk. Directly outside of the hotel is a taxi line and a bus stop. The outside of the hotel doesn’t look like much, but upon entry you are greeted by a beautiful lobby. Plenty of seating, the breakfast buffet, a bar, complimentary waters, and an adult size zen garden. Right off the lobby is a large outdoor patio with comfy seats and umbrellas. The people working the desk were extremely friendly. They helped our family find rooms as close together as they could. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable beds. There is a large built-in, perfect for storing your suitcases. The bathroom was nice and bright with a big shower and great water pressure. There is also a mini fridge, a safe, and free wifi. The rooftop terrace is the highlight of the hotel! The pool with the view steals the show. It overlooks all of Barcelona and when you turn around you get stunning views of the beach. There is tons of seating, a bar, toilets, and towels available. The drinks were strong but a little pricey (compared to restaurants in the area). We only ran into one rude bartender (who then gave us our drinks in smaller glasses and were definitely not as strong). But for that to be our only complaint about this hotel, we would definitely stay here again if ever in the area!

good breakfast. Some of the workers are nice, Good Wifi. Rooms are not so good, the walls are thin so it can get loud. Beds are hard. Rooftop access is closed because of "winter weather" it is 20degrees right now in november. . . .

The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars and not 1 is because the staff was really pleasant and the rooms were relatively clean, but I would never come back here again. Firstly because of the squeaky beds, secondly because of the paper thin walls. You can hear what your neighbours are doing at all times. ( and also their squeaky beds) If you're trying to have a relaxing time in the hotel room or if you're sensitive to sound, I would avoid this hotel. And bring earplugs.

I like everything about this hotel: the location, the size, the staff, the rooftop terrace. Very quiet, I enjoyed being here.

Severely misleading website. No restaurant to dine in in the evening, no English tv channels, variety at breakfast was severely lacking. The only good thing I can say about this place is the location. Have contacted them and have had nothing back. Wouldn’t recommend.

Helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Well placed for beach and underground. Enjoyed the local bars and restaurants in the area too.

This hotel does not provide wifi. They say they do but we never had wifi in our room. We told reception since the first day about it but nothing was ever done in the four days we spent there. Staff is nice, hotel is far from city landmarks but close to the beach in a nice area.

I havent even stayed there yet, but i can already tell that the customer service is absolutely horrible. Mainly, I need an invoice for my trip, prior to my stay for my company's march invoices and the hotel has refused to send me an invoice prior to the stay. What the heck? Absolutely horrible customer service.

It was like a dreaming holiday. I stayed here cuz of beach near. It was wonderful to see beach where take only 5minutes by feet. And actually, on the way to beach were full of people who jogging, skate boarding, and do some light exercise that make way more beautiful. Room condition was also good enough, they cleaned and made up room for everyday. Tourist spot, like Catalunya platz, take 30 minutes around by transportation. But Barcelona awake kind of long, till 00-01 hour look like, with full of people, so no worry about hanging around. So I could see the beautiful night and beach every day here. It was the heaven. Ah, also crews here are really kind and try to help with never lose kindness. Also they have a 24hours open reception that can provide you reservations like Sagrida famile ticket, taxi for airport.

A good experience. I'll cover the down sides too which didn't detract from our stay thankfully. Rooms were clean and smart, yet the safe didn't work, the tucked in sheets on twin beds were awkward to sleep as a couple and depends on what you like, the shower was like a pressure washer! Service was excellent, the paid for breakfast good but no daily alterations. The roof top pool brilliant an idea was small and not heated so we couldn't use. We came to like Poblenou, alas the hotel is a little distance from the metro and Las Ramblas, Poblenou which has the local shops/restaurants. There is a lengthy walk to the beach too as no direct access, plus the restaurants situated on the beach road were the expensive summer type so not much here off season.

Great customer support, we had problems due to covid and they solved it perfectly and quickly for us. We will definitely stay there soon, because we feel they value their guests!

Quality of the hotel very far from 4*. Price increased even for 4* hotel, but worn old chamber and almost nothing provided (glasses, water, coffee) was big disapointment. Additionally, nothing icluded in this price (breakfast, parking, anything…). Left immediatelly after first night, another accomodation which I found was cheaper and much better.

    1. The place is disgusting 2. This should not qualify as a hotel. Other than the lobby, it looks like a run down apartment building. 3. The place smells of bad sewage 4. No ventilation in bathrooms 5. A couple was screaming fighting across from my room from 2:30 AM to 7:30 AM and they refused to change my room even though I felt unsafe. One person in the couple literally banged on my door and tried to use her key card to get in my room, banging on my door. This is how I was woken up. I felt so unsafe the two nights I was there. They wouldn’t change my room or give me a discount. It was so bad I left anyway. Safety over money. This place was uncomfortable and I didn’t feel safe. 6. Beds sucked I could not say one good thing about this place. Really upsetting.

Wish we hadn’t booked this hotel. No air conditioning — it was so humid the entire time… can’t imagine what it’s like during the hottest months of the year. Unbelievably uncomfortable because you choose between a humid/hot room without bugs/mosquitos or opening the windows for *some* airflow but bugs come inside. Also no fridge, no water bottles (would’ve been willing to pay for these, but no option at all), no coffee or hot water machine, no working safe. 1 star for the rooftop pool/view and proximity to the beach.

Stayed here a week, the rooms could use a little remodeling and the breakfast more variety. It is located in a nice area and close to the beach. The staff is nice, would go back for the rooftop bartender Roberto!! The nicest!
