We arrived at Friday night around 12am. They are kind enough to host us, but there’s no hot water. They have there own heating system, however it is not enough for the whole hostel… so we wait until the morning, without surprise, it still doesn’t work! There’s no fresh air in the room. The locker of the shelfs are weak. No privacy in the shower rooms. I would remind travelers who care about those things to avoid it!

I had been here for 4 nights and it was absolutely perfect. Super clean, super organized and with all comforts that someone needs. Cherry on top the service with Nicolas, with him I felt everyday to be at home. He is super welcoming and after like 30 minutes he is your friend by helping you or just by having a coffee. Barcelona & You with Nicolas is definitely the place to be if wanna enjoy this wonderful city. Thanks guys, see you soon

In it’s current state, this hostel is not worth the money. The rooms are clean if a little dusty, and the main living space is clean enough. I’m giving this place 2 stars because it needs some serious attention from the owners. There is black mold in all of the showers and toilet rooms, bathroom lights are broken, there wasn’t hand soap in the bathroom, the mens bathroom door handle is missing, and we woke up one morning to only cold showers. If the staff spent a few days really cleaning and repairing this place, it might be worth of the 4.3 star review it currently has. As it currently stands, it’s not worth what we paid for it and could probably get a similar stay in a better area with cleaner amenities. The location is okay, great access to the Sagrada Familia, but a 35-minute walk to the Gothic Quarter and the beach. The manager was friendly when we communicated over text and let us check out late. Long story short, I won’t be rushing back here any time soon. I think you can find a better deal in a better location for roughly the same price.

Staff is so friendly. Bedroom is good and clean. Curtains make privacy space. Shower room is too narrow and doesn’t have private dressing room. Dining and living room are also good. Comfortable and relax. There are fridge, cutlery, microwave, toaster and water dispenser. Deposit must be cash. 5€per person. We didn’t have enough cash but staff dealt with it. Thank you. Location is awesome. It took five minutes to get to Sagrada Família on foot. A lot of grocery stores and restaurants around this hostel. Roommates are great. They respected each other. Keeping quiet during nights and early morning. It was wonderful stay. I should’ve stayed here longer.

Relaxed stay at this hostel with super attentive and friendly staff! Breakfast was included and stayed "open" till 11am, even later most days which was nice not having to rush things. Only bummer was having to pay for towel rental. But sheets were clean and was given a blanket. Would definitely recommend!

Barcelona is one of the most expensive places with hotel prices, so I decided to stay in Barcelona & You Hostel and this was a really good decision! The great location of the hostel saved me time to explore the city but Barcelona is not an easy place for visitors to see all the important monuments here. Thank god I had my socia Susana here who helped me explore Barcelona. Here are really friendly receptionists, good breakfasts and nice clean and secure rooms with secure cabinets... Per the receptionist's advice I had parked my motorcycle opposite hostel door for free they cancelled my parking so saved a couple of euros (thanks for the advice!).

I’m travelling Europe for 10 weeks and honestly hands down Barcelona and you hostel is the best hostel I’ve stayed at. The staff are absolutely amazing, genuinely kind people who care about you and your stay. They go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy. The cleanliness is amazing they are so on top of everything it’s amazing. I felt so welcomed right from the beginning which makes me go downstairs to socialise a lot more compared to my previous hostels I’ve stayed at. The vibes in this place just feel like home and I love it here. Thanks guys ❤️

Would recommend this only because of the good location. The staff is not that friendly and bathroom and toilets are way too small.

This hostel has been so good to us! Everything is clean, breakfast is a mix of fruit, bread, and cereal, and the staff has been exceptional in terms of helping us get around barcelona. We only had a few days in barcelona and they helped us plan a rewarding itinerary. Would highly recommend!

Stayed at the hostel for 4 days last December with my girlfriend. At first, given how insanely close it is to Sagrada Familia (less than 5 minutes on foot), I would have thought it was going to be an awful tourist trap. Little did I know that the place would end up being a fantastic place. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and open. They had an amazing vibe and to my knowledge the spoke at least 4 or 5 languages, so travelers from abroad can be comfortable knowing that they’ll be well received. The bunks look very new and stylish and the beds are very wide and comfortable. My girl and I managed to sleep in one of them together and I’m not what you would call “small”. They had 4 showers (2 male, 2 female) and 3 toilets (1 for each and 1 more for whomever needed it), which in the 4 days we were there was more than enough. It’s true that the place had around half of the guests they can fit during those days, but I never found it hard to go to the bathroom or take a shower. The common areas are very open and you’ll definitely meet a lot of people there, either during breakfast (which is included and quite good) or in the evening, when most people just hang out there. 2 negatives: The showers are a bit small and the curtains provide little privacy. Again, I had no problem, but it might not work for everyone. Second thing: The pillows are incredibly tall. I had to sleep without one because it was way too high for my neck. But maybe that’s just me. All in all, I really recommend the place. Would go there again.

I'm not a fan of hostels but this was a great stay. Comfortable staff, nice facilities, good beds and curtains for privacy on every bunk were all pluses. The bathrooms are a little small but you can't have everything. Great location like five minutes walk to la Sagrada Familia.

I can recommend this hostel very much, because always very kind and lovely people around 24/7. Never felt myself uncomfortable. They are very courteous and give a lot of help if you ask of course. I'll be book a room when I get back to Barcelona! Nos vemos pronto amigos :)

The location of the hostel is excellent and easy to find from the metro stations Sagrada Familia/Monumental, good connection to the airport and into the city centre. I stayed in the 4-bed-girls room. The cleaniness of the toilets/bathroom was good, but the room was very dusty. Breakfast never was on time but it had a lot of choices. The staff was very friendly but the people in the hostel were quite noisy unfortunately. I did enjoy my stay mostly, but would not necessarily go there again the next time I'm in Bacrelona.

We stayed here during our Barcelona trip. This was our first experience with hostels and it was nice. We had no problems except check the info about the hostel on booking or fb because hostelworld contains some false info.
