Even if you're a guest in the hotel they won't give you a towel to use the Rooftop pool without a €15 deposit. What a total joke. It's meant to be a 5 star hotel... The elevator system is extremely slow also not helped by the fact that the doors open and close very very slowly and there's no button inside to initiate a close. It literally took 30 minutes to go from my floor to the roof, to the lobby then back to the roof. And yes the Rooftop music is trashy and way too loud - especially for the afternoon. It's really a 3 star hotel in disguise.

windows never cut the sound coming from the square of Catalonia. There is a coffee machine in the room, there is no milk. When the other room doors are closed, you jump. There is no pressure in the water coming from the top in the shower cabin. The beds are comfortable, they don't smell clean, but the windows that can't block the sounds from the square are very bad and uncomfortable. The carpet in the corridor is very dirty or so it seems. The location of the hotel is beautiful. The room is large, and they put a machine where you can buy water and ice, which is nice. We could not understand whether there is a restaurant or not.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you won't be let down. Amazing Hotel right in the centre of the city. Wonderful views from the rooftop pool and bar. Beautiful rooms. However what makes it really special is that the staff are fabulous! So attentive and nothing is too much trouble. They looked after our party so well and made us feel extra special.

No toothbrush, no toothpaste, no iron(brought after we asked for it), no towel radiator, no flip-flap(brought after we asked for it) + Menu bar was mentioned on the Booking but, it wasn't on the price; You have to pay for it + The breakfast is okay; It's not like how people described it on Google and Booking reviews + The launch was awful; Pasta Carbonara was raw and the Cod Fish and the rice were not cooked well + The live music/DJ/Dance is not holding on weekdays

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were great, the location perfect, and the staff welcoming and helpful. What really stood out though was the care they take with their guests. One person in our group left their passport in the safe! We checked out and travelled on to another city and received an email from Celia letting us know about the passport and asking about our itinerary so she could send the passport to us! She was incredible, making sure to send the passport to arrive safely and on time. Thank you, Celia!

The location of the hotel is ideal to explore Barcelona (especially with a baby). Stunning view from the Sky Lounge while enjoying a cocktail or two. We booked the Suite and was blown away by the space, the view and a special surprise, the top terrace where you can see the whole city of Barcelona! We loved it very much! Besides the hotel being amazing, the staff have been wonderful and accommodating to us as well. Great customer care! There was a miscommunication about a request and Celia, the hotel manager, did her best and made sure our 7 day stay at the hotel will be comfortable for our 5 month old baby. Thank you very much again! I also had food poisoning and they sent a doctor to our room right away to get me checked. Definitely the top hotel on our list and we would stay here again next time we're in Barcelona.

I recently stayed at the Iberostar Hotel in Barcelona, and it was a truly exceptional experience. A great hotel with great staff. Thanks for making our stay very pleasant in the end. I had an issue with one of the hotel policies regarding early checkin and what I felt was an unfair attempt to charge. The receptionist and duty manager were as helpful as they could possibly be. Iberostar as a company could be more thoughtful about how not to upset people with such added pricing but the team at the hotel itself were most helpful. Room was excellent, breakfast was very nice. Location lovely. People were super friendly and trying to help despite the Iberostar policy.

This is great location to the person from suburban. It’s in the center of the city. I really enjoy the city life in the Spain. It’s surrounded by all kinds of store. The metro subway, many buses, shuttle to airport, hop on off tour buses and taxi stations they all are right there. Needless to say so many attractions restaurants in walking distance. Hotel rooms are very clean and staff are very friendly.

The staff was exceptional. Facility was very nice and comfortable, breakfast was incredible, we recommend the room with the views, Nawal helped to make our stay wonderful she was always available for our requests.

It was an amazing experience. The location is there best one, all the people we had contact with from the hotel team we’re very friendly, with a smile on the face, always helpful. From the housekeeping team, to the reception, and the team at the breakfast room. A very special recognition to Celia Pieras, who was 5 stars with us and with all the other clients around. The assistant manager was very warm at our reception as well. The concierge/doorman and the bellman were incredibly helpful and kind, during all our stay. The hotel and the room were always very clean. And the Christmas decorations were very charming. Definitely a place to stay each time we’ll return to Barcelona. Everything about our stay has been excellent! The rooms are very clean, spacious and high-tech. The staff are incredible! The breakfast has something for everyone, and has nice big windows overlooking the plaza. One day at breakfast there was a magician showing us some tricks which was fun too! The hotel is in a great location as well. I’d highly recommend the Iberostar for your stay in Barcelona!

A really great hotel. Room was spacious and clean with a great view. Fantastic central location with hop on hop off stop right outside. Service was mostly excellent and everyone was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. I knocked one star off as there were no tea making facilities in the room and on the couple of occasions I requested tea bags etc this seemed to be a bit of a hassle for them. The hotel was exceptional in every other way so not sure why they don't cater for tea drinkers!

I stayed at the Iberostar Hotel for my birthday! It was the best place ever,comfortable and pleasent! The thing that I liked the most was that I was feeling safe! The staff was very friendly especially Jennifer,Who helped us with the place ,location,direction and a 1000 questions I had! surely will comeback again! We really enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. I would especially like to mention the helpful and friendly staff at the front desk (David Castillo and his colleague Genama). They are hosts with heart and soul and they always found the perfect solution even in special situations. Thank you very much!

great location and nice interior, however services were terrible. the reception was really unhelpful and disorganized. they did not accept our euro bills even after authentication, were locked out of our room on numerous occasions. on top of that the elevators took absurdly long, and we had to resort to going up and down four flights of stairs each time. our safe box stopped working while all our passports and other valuables were inside, and also our shower was leaking into the room. overall it was okay, however i do not recommend.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. I felt comfortable and relaxed. Location, buffet, and service were all perfect. It was located on a main road, so there was some noise, but it wasn't a big problem.

Don’t let the optics of the hotel itself fool you, most of the staff acts like they have already given their 2-week notice to quit and could care less about customer service satisfaction.. The front desk will make you feel like any request is an inconvenience and sadly I did not look at the service reviews before booking this hotel. They are dreadful! My wife and I spent 3 nights here celebrating our Baby-moon. Very unlucky! Since the moment we walked in it was pure attitude from the front desk. From failed attempts to get maid service to front desk staff delivering items with a rude disposition it was giant mistake staying here! This area is full of hotels so you have many more choices and for the money you are definitely NOT getting the kind of service you’re paying for. You’ve been warned!

We stayed here for 7 nights for our visit to Barcelona. The best perk of Iberostar is its location, being right by the plaza Catalunya and Gracia street, you are pretty much in walking distance of many tourist spots, shops, and restaurants. Also 24 bus is pretty much in standby in front of the hotel, and there are metro stations and other bus stops right by the hotel. Throughout our trip it was amazing how easily we could accesss the transportation and make easy stops at the hotel. The room is nice and roomy, with all the modern controls. Breakfast on 1st floor was pretty decent as well. Rooftop provides good view of the city and good bites and drinks. My only complaint is noise level from the street and the plaza during the day, but it gets quiet enough at night. A very strong recommend if visiting Barcelona.

The hotel was wonderful, the location was perfect, but it was the staff that made the stay fabulous. Every employee we encountered while staying at the hotel was attentive, professional, courteous and very helpful. Although I didn’t get the names of the women at the front desk, they were delightful and very welcoming. Two people were particular standouts, Ahmad, who greeted us and helped us with our bags and Alessandro, who was a server in the dining room. Both went above and beyond to make us feel at home while we were there. I don’t usually write reviews but wanted to call out these two people because it was truly a delight to meet them and they made our stay truly wonderful! Thank you! Carolyn

We enjoyed our 2 week stay so much at Iberostar hotel. Celia met us when we were checking in and she and the rest of the staff took superb care of us our entire stay. The team was so friendly and accommodating but Celia was a breath of fresh air. We have moved here now and go by for breakfast every now and then to see your team. We also recommend this hotel to all of our friends who are coming to Barcelona. I ran restaurant companies in the US for 40 years and Celia is exactly what I looked for in Managers. Great hotel, better staff! Well done!

The hotel is beautiful and very clean and modern and in a great location. All of the staff were very helpful. It was very nice to meet Alessandro, especially, who was able to help us a lot with ordering and with suggestions on where to go and what to see.

I loved staying here during my stay in Barcelona. It was well placed and the facilities were amazing. Also, their rooftop bar was a nice gimmick but I would not recommend going there for anything but beer or wine, since their cocktails are very bad and overpriced. Overall, the hotel is a very nice one, and I would recommend it greatly

I booked the hotel through booking.com it was not too expensive and excellent location. The hotel is very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and especially if you are like myself who needs everything very particular you would like it and my favorite thing was the bidet (muslim hand shower) which I never found in so many well known 5* hotels across Europe. Other than this i like their room layouts andlight colors across room and bathroom. Location is one of the best things you can move around anywhere from here in the city.

Jennifer from reception was super helpful with answering questions about the city and gave us many recommendations. The rooftop terrace has a gorgeous view of the city, and is particularly cool at night.

Booked a toproom with a terrace for a premium price. The problem: directly underneath the rooftop level the hotel doesn’t advise that clubbing is on. You can either join or not be in your room. But inside the room the noise level is unacceptable. The receptionist is clueless and gives false information. Noone is prepared to solve this for us. Change of room? This hotel? NEVER AGAIN!!!

Best Hotel in Catalunya in all aspects. There is no better location than that. The room view over looking catalunya plaza. You can see all the activities from your room. The hotel staff is very freindly and helpful. The room is very tidy and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The toilet water spray (Shattaf) is excellent and unique to be found in Barcelona. I always book it when ever I visit Barcelona because it’s it’s in the center and close to all bus and underground station and in the middle of shopping district.

Overall a great hotel! Attentive and friendly staff - Special thank you to Marius our receptionist - he's wonderful! Location is central with easy access to cabs, public transport and shopping. Only issue was the air-conditioned was not functioning. We had it serviced too but nothing really improved. We were pretty hot - good thing the rooftop had a pool with spectacular views!

Fantastic location in the centre of Barcelona. Beautifully kept with large modern rooms, light and airy. The roof top pool area is awesome at any time of the day or night. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. I would highly recommend this hotel, it is fantastic value for money.

The hotel itself is located well and has decent amenities. Where it lacks a great rating comes down to poor insulation between rooms and hallways. I could hear my neighbors moving furniture and in the hallways too easily at night. The windows are okay at insulating but need calibration because they are easily unsealed and let a lot of street noise in. They do a decent job but could do better with maintenance. The worst part of this hotel is the elevator though. It consistently would take multiple minutes to get an elevator to go downstairs or upstairs. They are incredibly slow and buggy. These two issues alone would prevent us from going here again since entering and leaving our room would always cost way more time than expected. Upside - the floor we were on had a water and ice machine. This was well appreciated.

This hotel is in the best location in town. The pool is beautiful and the service was good for Spain. Sadly, there was only 2 slow elevators. The rooms were big, but the shower was not ventilated and had a lot of mold in the walls and in the ceiling.

The hotel was spectacular in accomodations, service and location. The rooftop pool was amongst one of the best views in the city! Breakfast was an incredible assortment with stellar service, very notably from Allessandro whose kindness and expertise of Barcelona embodied the entire Catalan spirit. All of his suggestions from places to eat to events in the city changed our experience of the country. The management and staff were all very kind and responsive. If you're still looking for a place to stay in Barcelona, do not hesitate to enjoy this beautiful hotel in this exciting city!

Lovely hotel - nice staff , clean , well positioned BUT they knowingly sell rooms at the rear if the hotel which us directly adjacent to a nightclub which is open until 4am . I have just returned form a 3 night stay and managed very little sleep during that time . I believe it us borderline criminal to be letting such rooms because they admit to knowing of the problem ! My room was 403 . IF you do decide to stay here then insist on a room at the front.

A hotel with a superb location and which happens to be extremely hip with fun vibes. The staff were very attentive and quite helpful with the check-in. They were all truly relentlessly accommodating and courteous. The room was just perfect for our needs. It was clean with good quality bed linen. Breakfast was really good and plentiful. We had an amazing time and would stay again.

Such an awesome hotel right in the main square. Staff are amazing, rooms are cleaned almost as soon as you leave the room. The bed is so comfy you just don't feel like getting up and tons of restaurants around. So happy to stay here after a European vacation full of small rooms. Feels like you are staying in a room on the Vegas strip.

5* service from arrival to the very end. The staff are absolutely incredible, location is perfect and the pool area is simply beautiful. We were greeted with a surprise early check in and amazing service from Marius. Fresh water on each floor, walk in showers, beautiful balcony… Reception called to check how our stay was and on our last day Albert helped with our suitcases but even flagged us a taxi down for the airport. Truly never had service like it, well done to you all during the busy summer period and thanks for your hospitality! We’ll be back.
