I’ve
stayed
at
this
hostel
from
the
9th
of
September
up
to
the
12th.
My
room
was
shared
with
7
other
people
(total
of
8);
it
also
had
an
en-suite
bathroom.
The
price
per
night
was
around
33€
(VAT
included;
there
was
also
a
12€
tax
to
be
paid
at
the
hostel,
but
that
was
the
Barcelona
City
tax).
The
price,
was
a
bit
too
high
considering
it
wasn’t
peak
season.
The
position
of
the
hostel
was
great
as
it
was
a
few
minutes
walk
to
Universitat
metro
station
and
Urgell
metro
station.
Overall
the
stay
at
the
hostel
wasn’t
terrible,
but
it
wasn’t
that
great
either.
The
room
had
no
windows,
but
there
was
aircon.
The
light
in
the
room
was
dim
and
you
could
barely
see,
although
there
was
a
small
light
on
each
bed.
On
each
bed
there
was
also
a
plug
and
a
small
table
that
wasn’t
that
good.
The
room
door
was
opened
with
a
key
card,
that
was
also
used
to
open
the
drawer/locker
in
which
you
could
store
your
belongings.
The
were
two
bathrooms;
the
first
one
had
only
a
shower
and
the
other
one
had
also
the
sink
and
wc.
The
bathroom
was
probably
the
worst
part
of
the
room,
which
up
until
now
could
be
described
as
passable.
There
were
two
sinks
who
were
so
small
that
each
time
you
washed
your
face
you’d
be
sure
to
get
your
feet
wet
as
well.
You
had
to
press
the
faucet
to
get
the
water
out.
If
it
was
done
with
intent
to
not
waste
water,
I
can
say,
in
my
personal
experience
it
did
not
work
as
I
probably
ended
up
wasting
more
water
than
I
usually
would.
It
was
the
same
for
the
shower
as
well.
The
breakfast
was
7€,
and
although
I
never
had
it,
it
looked
to
have
a
good
variety
of
things
to
eat.
Checkout
time
was
until
10:30am.
At
the
hostel
there
were
some
lockers
in
which
you
could
place
your
belongings
until
it
was
time
for
your
flight
(or
train
etc).
The
price
for
the
locker
started
at
3€
for
6hours
and
it
increased
the
more
hours
you
needed
it.
While
this
ensured
the
safety
of
your
things,
I
must
say
I
was
surprised
that
I
had
to
pay
to
store
my
luggage
there,
as
in
all
the
hostel
I
travel
that
service
was
always
free
of
charge.
Like
I
said
before,
all
in
all
it
was
not
a
terrible
experience;
I’d
probably
give
3
stars
out
five,
but
given
the
popularity
that
Barcelona
has
there
is
a
lot
room
for
improvement.
I’d
also
like
to
add
one
more
thing
for
anyone
that
reads
this
review:
when
you
share
a
room
with
people
you
do
not
know,
it’s
good
manner
to
not
make
unnecessary
noise
at
3
in
the
morning,
especially
if
you
are
aware
that
you
will
be
returning
to
the
room
in
the
early
morning.
The
reason
why
I
am
writing
this
is
not
to
denigrate
the
hostel
(as
they
are
nowhere
responsible
for
the
actions
of
the
guest)
but
to
make
the
people
see
that
thinking
before
doing
something
might
actually
make
the
temporary
cohabitation
better.
Please
be
kind
and
respectful
of
the
people
you
are
sharing
them
room.
