My path was destined to cross the door of this hostel and mix with so many others like threads through the same rope. I was meant to write this review. And you were meant to read it. This is part of our purpose in life. To simply connect. And share and have fun and maybe try to understand it all. I'm not just a traveler. And this is no ordinary hostel. I'm a student of the Human Condition. And I try to have a good time while I'm at it. I travel to learn. And usually from other people. and usually the most interesting and inspiring come from hostels around the world. We have a bond deep within us. We are all teachers and students of life, whether we mean it or not. we are learning and exchanging ideas and going through changes. What I learned this time from Cassie from southern California was perhaps the answer to world peace: Open the circle. Two new people walked up to the group on the terrace at the hostel. We said welcome. come on in. Cassie from So Cal said we will open the circle. And so we scooted our chairs around to open the circle and let them sit with us. Not just behind us but beside us. As equals. All part of the same conversation. Everyone at the hostel is respectful and welcoming and polite no matter their background. To be fair there was one disagreement on one night between two people in a room about noises and keeping each other up but over the two weeks that I have been here but I've seen dozens of people from dozens of different places and races and class not only get along but have a good time and celebrate their differences. If only the whole world could be this way. I won't say that I have the answer myself but somehow at this place we have the answer. and we are doing it together here already. There is World Peace within the walls of this hostel. The answer to world peace is to open the circle. If we ever achieve world peace through this type of message and you reading this review then all credit goes to this hostel and the people who shared that experience with me there. If no world peace then damnit we all had a good time anyway! I'm not religious, but I do believe in destiny. It's not too hard to see. Because the only truth we really know in this big world is our own story. Our own path. Oh and that hostel has secrets and mysteries too! But first you must open your heart and mind.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel. Every night was a nightmare for me because my mattress is quite soft and softer than others. It’s harmful for waist if the waist cannot be supported by the mattress. That was my case. I tried to ask to change the first day but they said there was no extra. I cannot do anything. It’s quite unpleasant experience. I will never recommend again.

The staff are pretty nice. Would recommend if you'd travel alone. The kitchen area and common space closes at 12 am. Only 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets for the entire hostel.

Sufficient. Night activities is a plus. Not the cleanest but taking the fact that it is a hostel into consideration I would say you will leave happy.

This place was pretty good, stayed in a large female dorm and it was pretty quiet overall and there was individual storage space, however minor issues such as my bed's outlet didn't work so I couldn't charge my phone overnight. Overall though was clean and the staff were very friendly, and the dorm beds had curtains which was good for privacy/blocking light.

I recommend the hostel. The decoration is wonderful and the staff is perfect. Honestly, the staff is definitely the best part of the hostel! Barbara is always doing her best to find night activities for the guests. Perfect atmosphere!

Great hostel with very clean amenities and super friendly staff! Diego was an exceptional host and such a cool guy. He made sure we had a great time every night and I'm so thankful for all his help. Also met some exceptional people from all over the world and I definitely made a few new friends staying at Pars Tailor's. 10/10 would recommend this hostel!!!

I really enjoyed my stay here, though I didn't take use of all the facilities it had a great kitchen and a great terrace that was nice for meeting other travellers or just having a drink and relaxing. While it's a little further from the centre, it was super close to a few metro stops and there were great, less expensive restaurants around the hostel! The rooms were a good size and there was never an issue with space in the bathrooms. The staff were really friendly and helpful! Disliked · It got a little warm in the rooms at night and my bed didn't have a light or much storage space near the bed. My room also didn't have curtains, which was only annoying as people were entering and exiting without being considerate of other people sleeping (this isn't on the hostel, it's always hit or miss).

Convenient, staffs are friendly. Spaces in the room is pretty good. not compact. Cons: curtains aside the bed. no hooks in men’s shower place

If you are a person who wants her own space and if you have work on your computer or things like that this place is NOT for you. The thing is, there is only one place with fresh air, silence, and wifi that doesn't work on terraces ( also phone is not working on the terrace). Also in some other places, wifi doesn't work too. Small hostel and there is one bathroom so it is hard to find empty. But the people are fine, they always want to help.

Super friendly staff that organizes events regularly. Crowd is also good. Location in the heart of Barcelona, everything reachable by foot. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and regularly maintained

Amazing hostel, with private curtain around the bed and reading light, clean and cozy for €25 per day. The decorations along the stair wall are like a private exhibition of traditional women dressing.

Lovely place - and amazing staff! There was an unpleasant situation with a drunk guy - they solved it very professionell. Thats a big plus especially for security. This place is great anyways! The kitchen ist good, just missing a coffee maschine. Bed are comfy, open space and terrace are perfect to chill and meet people. They organise activities every night, also with other hostels. Definitly coming back :)

I loveee Pars Tailor!! One of the boat hostels I’ve stayed at! All the staff were so lovely! Everyday they have planned activities free of charge for all guests - such a wonderful way to meet people and get around the city and see all the clubs etc. the outdoor terrace is just lovely!

This is a very unique place and to be honest I love the interior! The receptionists were very kind and friendly, they helped us a lot. The room was bigger than I expected plus peace and quiet. The bathroom was inside. The location is pretty good. I recommend this hostel.

Super unique stay modeled after a old-fashioned tailor shop. Loved the decor and details. Great value for a short stay. Highly recommend the place when in Barcelona!

Great location, friendly staff but I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. Despite the website stating the rooms are air conditioned they are not. When I asked for it to be turned on they did but 30 min later it was turned off. You are crammed into a room with 10 other people which made it even more hot. Imposible to get a good nights sleep.

Perfect hostel in every way, staff are so friendly and helpful, design is beautiful, there is social activities on every night but it’s not too loud or too much, shared spaces are clean and cosy, beds comfortable and everything works well. Location is excellent. Only critic is that the shower timer is on for about 15 seconds, you have to continuously press the button whilst you shower to keep it flowing. I think having a 2/3min timer is much more reasonable. Would definitely stay again

One of the most amazing hostel that I’ve been to! Highly recommended to those who travel alone because the hostel hold events a lot and have a WhatsApp group for guests and staff During my stay, staff Anna was super nice and she recommended me many city attractions to visit, and a free tour to MACBA museum The hostel also held a sangria night on Saturday And they have pool tables and many board games, card games, chess, and books, you’ll always find something to do Btw, their balcony is a very good place to hangout 💫

Did not like my stay here… due to covid rules they would nit turn on the AC except at night, it was miserable. The front desk lady was neurotic. The floor was dirty. The bathroom stunk. The toilet hit against the wall and made noise. I was moved from their sister hostel that I booked due to covid and told I would get the same thing, but instead I was in a room with almost double the people (I booked 6 female room, and was put in a 12 female room with no refund, which makes little sense to me that this was for covid restrictions, our heads were so close together). I really didn’t enjoy my stay here and couldn’t wait to leave Barcelona because of it. If I would’ve known what the stay would have been like I would’ve booked a hotel. Also the window had to be open during the daytime, and this brought a lot of mosquitos in the room. I have so many mosquito bites from staying here.

The cleaning guy is a really happy cleaner guy. Happy at 10, happy at 11 and happy at 7. How is this always happy

Extremely lazy employee, forgot his name but he is a larger Caucasian fellow who doesn't ever give a hand to help. He has zero customer service skills and wonder how he is hired there. Old lady that owns the place is nice. Beautiful place though, loved my stay there, also amazing interior design!

I stayed at this hostel with some friends of mine for something like 9 or 10 days and it really felt like home. This is the best hostel I've ever been too. It has soul! The people who work there are absolutely lovely and it was honestly hard to leave. When we came back to Barcelona after going to Amsterdam, it was right back to Pars Tailor's. I can't say enough about this place. Absolutely will be going back and 10/10 would recommend to a friend. I am very grateful to them and their entire staff. Also the location is amazing. Thank you guys for an amazing stay.

Last year I booked few beds for me and my friends in this hostel and prepaid our stay. Due to the COVID pandemic the hostel cancelled its service and I received a message saying I was have to cancel my booking and the hostel would return my payment. That was pure cheating, as they haven't returned my money. When I tried to contact the hostel they never answer. I don't recommend to deal with them.

A great place to stay in Barcelona if you're looking for an affordable accommodation or travelling on your own. Here you will find not only clean but rather comfortable and stylish place to stay as well as lots of opportunities to socialise and find new friends or connections)) Receptionists are usually very friendly and helpful. There's also lots of information on where to go around Barcelona and how to get there. A terrace where you can enjoy sunsets is just a cherry on top of it😎

I spent 5 nights at Pars Tailors Hostel and I have to say it was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The decor was super adorable, the hostel was clean, and the atmosphere was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and it was very easy & comfortable to be a solo traveller there. Alessandro was so much fun and really created a friendly & chill atmosphere amongst guests. Lucas was super kind & let me tag along to an event he was attending, and the guys working on the desk were very helpful and kind! 10/10 would recommend!!

Staying at this hostel made our stay in Barcelona so much fun! We met so many great folks who were staying at this hostel. Because of the community feel to this place, we got to connect with so many folks from around the globe. This is my favorite part about this place! The atmosphere is cozy and vintage and feels like you’ve taken a step back in time. I love the kitchen and cooking area, the one improvement I would recommend is more silverware. They do have an organized way to keep food which I appreciate. The room itself was average size for a hostel. The shared bathroom was among the nicer shared bathrooms I’ve gotten in a hostel because of its size. Would recommend to stay here for a few nights for folks looking for a low-price option and who are looking to connect with locals and folks from around the globe. Thanks to Lander and Katzu (spelling?) for your hospitality!

Truly my favorite hostel I’ve stayed at. Not only is the hostel itself cozy and warm, but the staff and guests are immensely welcoming and kind. This hostel welcomes both solo and group travelers with open arms - I met incredible people during my time at Pars Teatro and was very sad to leave this wonderful place. Special thank you to Nashi for organizing wonderful events, and to Joseph for the great company while I was waiting for my bus. Thank you for making me feel welcome and cared for, Pars Teatro - I will certainly be back :)

Fulfilled the brief, staff were friendly, facilities clean and good vibes. Night out wasn't very popular but we're that ebbs and flows. Reasonably capable kitchen, locker with key lock included. Excellent location, could walk everywhere ( if you like walking)

  • 4/5 Evan D. 1 year ago on Google
Perfectly fine hostel. Decent beds and pillows, enough bathroom space, air conditioning in rooms. Only downside was a lack of locker space (my party of 3 had to share 2 lockers that barely fit daypacks) and no shelf next to the bed for setting a charging phone during the night. Staff are excellent and the common area is nice.

The whole vibe of the hostel was amazing, very helpful, very open, super friendly. Amazing people, a cute atmosphere and good rooms, with clean bathrooms and nice beds!! I would definitely recommend going here if you love to meet new people and want to do something fun everyday with the people you meet in the hostel!

Hostels are as good as your roommates. The experience here was the worst I've had in Euro travel because it turned out to be a highly social and open hostel while I'm a quiet solo traveler on a budget. City tax per night charged separate from the 10 euro key deposit - only in cash. The bathrooms are very communal and few in number considering the 10 or 12 bed dorms they have. The air conditioning works late at night and infrequently. The doors never close and windows remain open so it's ultimately ineffective. No wifi except the reception. No quiet policy for sleeping hours. It is never quiet. Be it night or day. Even at 2 am.. it won't be quiet. Music on loudspeaker while someone is showering, loud reshuffling of luggage, snoring, loud catching up, drunk people coming back late and making noise. When I finally found a couch downstairs near the billiards table where there was no ventilation or AC, another guy thought 2 am was a brilliant time to make noise in the kitchen which is right outside the glass door. Just my luck. For the 2 nights I stayed there, I must have slept for a total of 3-4 hours. That too because I passed out. Thanks Marcello and Kazu for trying to find a solution. Highlight of the stay was your understanding and effort. If you stay here, I recommend getting a multi day metro card. Makes it easier to enjoy the city.

First of all great thanks for crew, that was so helpful after I was robed. Thanks for advices, good word and making accommodation easy. Also for patience. Location is great, interior really in my vibe, best of Barcelona happened here.

10, 10, 10’s across the board Kazu and jasmine all round legends and know how to make sure you feel included and have a good time. If you’re a solo traveller do yourself a favor and stay here you meet PLENTY of awesome people and the hostel itself is in good condition always clean and communal spaces are great

  • 5/5 Tony L. 1 year ago on Google
This hostel has everything you need including a great location near the main sights and subway, kitchen, a terrace to chill outside, and a lounge with AC if it gets too hot. The best part about this hostel is its vibe. Lots of friendly people and an open atmosphere makes it the ideal hostel for solo travelers. Shoutout to Kazu and RJ for going the extra miles for making sure everyone was having a great time!
