Royal Ramblas Hotel, Barcelona, Spain. The Location is excellent and quiet fancy, they clean their stuff quiet well. The bedrooms are good and bed size is also big as compared to most of the hotels (I've been to).. wonderful hotet and their breakfast and coffee is no doubt also really fine .. the pricing though is not that good it is quiet expensive and you might get disturbed by the taxi noise from outside but over it's a fine experience. You can consider this hotel for the stay if you're looking for one to go for..

Worst hotel experience in my entire life. Dirty room right after checked-in ( hair all over the floor)- AC not working- room's keys not working multiple times, totally different from pictures, disgusting bathroom, old and broken furniture, dirty elevators all day long, rude staff and no apology by any of staffs for any issue raised, dirty sheets, paid extra €15 per night for a superior room (€180 per night) and got this terrible service and quality, It's not even a 1-star hostel. Can't believe it is ranked 4-star!!!! The only good thing about this hotel is its location (LA Rambla). Don't be fooled by pictures, Don't waste your money in this hotel. Look at the pictures please for reference.

This hotel truly is one of the worst I've ever seen. The first night the HVAC was not working, we asked then to fix it and they gave us an small heater. The next day it was still not fixed and they told us they will move us to a new room but tomorrow. The next they after the move there was no soap or service done for the room and the forth day the bath gel ran out. I had a certain expectation for a hotel that's supposedly 4 star. They really have some of the worst service I've even heard of amongst the lower rank hotels. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.

Noise cancellation in rooms was great, as was the breakfast and location. Unfortunatey they were the only things we enjoyed. The shower didn't work properly neither did the wifi so I had to use my own data. The beds were sooooo uncomfortable as were the pillows. We did not get even one decent nights rest. Even though the breakfast was yummy with a great selection, the hot water wasn't even hot so our teas and coffees were barely warm. Sorry, it was pretty awful. The noise cancellation was impreasive though, it's just a shame we couldn't take advantage of that because of the uncomfortable beds! Great location but I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The location of the Hotel is in the heart of the Ramblas. The service is average, it took them forever to do our check in. The room was not ready, and it is below average. The Ramblas is very busy and crowded. It is very nourishing you can hear the noise from the windows of the Hotel. Definitely I will not stay here again.

My family and I went to this hotel for 1 night after getting off our cruise And our expectations were exceeded. While on our cruise we read reviews for this hotel and because of the few bad reviews we weren’t expecting much because the last hotel we stayed at before getting on the cruise in Rome was pretty bad. But we were mistaken because our rooms were ready fast, the mattresses we’re comfortable, the bathroom was really cool, and we had a great view of ramblas street. The workers were incredibly nice and they recommended us places around the city to eat at. The next morning we ate breakfast at their buffet, and once again our expectations were exceeded. The croissant was flaky and delicious the bacon was crispy and salty and the beans on toast were good to (no I’m not British but I still liked the beans on toast) so overall great experience and I would recommend this hotel for anyone to spend the night after a cruise ship or if your just visiting Barcelona.

Great location. Rooms were spacious and have everything you need. Shower was great, with high water-pressure and two shower heads. We arrived an hour after check-ins started, but unfortunately our room wasn't quite ready yet. We waited in the lobby for about 10 minutes before getting the key-cards to our room (no biggie.) Maybe it was because the staff had to prepare a room in a hurry for us, but when we entered some things were not as clean as we would have hoped. The worst part was the water boiler, which was filled with coffee grounds from a previous hotel guest. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was perfect. Its friendly and hospitable staff, comfortable accommodations, and location were exactly what my husband and I wanted. Getting around was easy: lots of things were within walking distance. For those things that weren't, the subway and bus lines were convenient and close. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return.

This hotel is in a great location and the staff were approachable and friendly. However both mine and my partners AirPods we’re stolen from our bags when we left them in lock up with the hotel. We didn’t take our AirPods out of our bags during the stay as we were only there one night. The manager was helpful with the situation but ultimately we never found out what happened and it was a huge hassle with constant back and forth emails and also reporting to the police. Stay here for the convenience but make sure everything is locked up and safe if you are leaving stuff in the room or in their concierge lock up.

The location is excellent where is in the heart of Barcelona; attractions and everything are very close. The stuff of the hotel is very friendly and cooperative. The overall service is very good. A little noise was there however it was managed.

2 stars because rooms were small and not exactly as shown on their website. When we arrived here our rooms weren't ready for us and we had to wait. Also. AC wasn't working in the room and was very hot. We had to request front desk to turn AC on. Also there was lots of gutter sewage smell was coming in our room. Not happy stayed only one night. Oh yes toilet was so small not for heavy weight peoples. Disappointed for the price we've paid per night.

It was pleasant stay for 10 days, nothing special in the hotel even no other activities than your room. Excellent breakfast and good service. The location of the hotel is very excellent near every shopping area and old city, you can spend 3 to 4 days only exploring this area by walking, it's amazing. The hotel is clean and receptionist very helpful.

Great hotel with the nicest staff! Everyone was so helpful and kept offering to bring bags to the room even shopping bags. Any room service requests were instantenous

lets start from the price, we paid ~280 euros for a night ( 3 nights ) on the check in we are greeted with construction workers and a bellboy apologising for the noise and mess. we went into the elevator to go to the receptionist and was greeted by an awful small of toilets ( probably related to the renovations undergoing there ). we got our room pretty quick and more applogizing for the state of things. the room was ok except the bathroom which had hairs in the bath and on the floor which suggested it was not cleaned well before letting us have it. on the first morning my wife was awoken at 7:20 AM by the sound of the construction. the hotel crew replaced our room, sent a bottle of cava and coped us breakfest. the breakfest is very poor in options and you would do a lot better outside of the hotel. all and all the only reason i am not giving one star is because of the staff that are trying their best and going out of their way to make an unacceptable situation more bearable . just to make it clear, at no point before the reservation or after it were we told the hotel is undergoing construction . it is unreasonable to let people book a vacation and not let them know that the hotel is under construction, more so i do not think a business may charge a full price during that time. to summerise the experience, the good things in this hotel are: 1. its employees. 2. its location. will not recommend staying there.

This was such a great place to stay. You are so close to everything. The rooms are very clean, the staff was very helpful and nice. We will definitely be back.

The hotel has a great location, but the rooms are simple and small. The breakfast is not worth the extra cost, as the food selection is very limited and the pre-cooked dishes are cold.

The room was OK, not too big or too small. Overall clean but simple and looks like it didn't get an upgrade of the furniture and design for a few decades. Waited for the room to be ready until 15 pm which is a bit late, but there is an option to keep the luggage. They marked my suitcases with a sticker that didn't come off until now. Location Is great - right near the main square and LA Rambla/ LA boqueria market.

Excellent location in la Ramblas. Close to local transportation and all kinds of good food. Close to Mercado market place where there are wonderful eatng options as well as snacks and gifts. Clean upscale hotel with wonderful, helpful staff. Nice rooms with comfortable beds and amenities.

What a joke for this hotel! not worth the price and 4 stars rating. Arrived early noon. but was told check in only at 3pm. We were left waiting in the lobby and seeing other guests arrived later and able to get room. Asked why and only be told waiting 3 person room be cleaned. Tired and frustrated after some heated exchanges, the room was magically available right at 3pm. After getting in the room at a corner without any windows. Room is tiny even for two people. A third temporary small bed sit right below a wall-mounted tv. It can be a dangerous safety risk. The whole room is cramped and dirty with strange smell from hallway. I can only give this hotel a star only for the location for convenience.

The lady named Jokic refused to provide a service for my parents, accommodate them in their hotel bc their credit card didn’t match with the one it was used to book. And they were very rude and reluctant to help us out at all. It was probably the worst experience that we’ve ever had traveling in more then 18 different countries

Updating my review after my first full day : 1- Sergi is the person in charge went out of his way to make things right for us. He refunded most of the 340 euro that was charged for an extra bed. ( he couldn’t return full because he can refund tax) and he gave us a better room in size and finishes, it doesn’t have the street view though but again he tried to do things right and we appreciate it. 2- the hotel is clean and the location is absolutely amazing. 20 feet down is a supermarket that allowed me to get stuff for my kids super easy. It’s also located in a very busy section of the area with tons and tones of restaurants, you can catch the city tour bus also from here with 100 feet walking distance , it’s very walkable area too and you can literally walk all day long and won’t be bored 3- the room is pretty good In size and it was very clean when we got here.

I spent two nights at this hotel and during my stay I found it wonderful. Best location and good rooms with excellent breakfast. Will surely love to visit again

I had booked a junior suite and did find comfortless mattress. The room is very consumed and not clean. The room service was terrible and extremely unprofessional as on our second night we were about to sleep and were shocked that a stranger suddenly unlocked our room at 11 p.m. using an access card and walked into our room!!! I asked him how did he manage to open our door and he said that the reception might have given him an access card to our room mistakenly. We were terrified that night and couldn't feel safe and talked to the reception and they bluntly gave us an excuse to what happened and they said they thought this stranger was part of our family! This was totally not acceptable as the most important thing that a tour is searching for in a hotel is the security and privacy of the rooms! I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed of the way they handled my complaint too

Room are small but clean ... the AC is working every 30 minutes to save energy so it never gets really chill. View was sad but the location is central and amazing. lots of Taxi stand near by and I highly recommend going to the Canete restaurant near by AMAZING

Great location and even better staff! Room was perfect for us. Clean and in good working order and quiet. Had tons of tourist logistics to figure out. Desk staff so patient and helpful in getting us all set

From check in to check this stay was perfect for me and my partner. great location and the room did not disappoint. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices to suit everybody, accompanied by really good service from the staff running the breakfast service. great location for the hotel we enjoyed breakfast with a beautiful view of the city everyday. the hotel is located in the middle pf everything you need so all the stores are within walking distance. rooms were clean and spacious. overall a great stay and would recommend to anyone!

Location is excellent! Bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! Everything was very very tasty and fresh, juice was freshly squeezed. It was worth to take an option with breakfast. Room was cleaned up every day and towels changed even if weren't left at the floor. Staff were super friendly! We had some problems with air conditioner :( It didn't give really cold air. However, we haven't ask about help so maybe it was something that could be fixed.

The location, cleanliness and convenience were perfect! The parking garage made the stay even better! You need a very small/compact car to fit in this garage. Staff were helpful. We did not use any dining services or concierge services while we stayed there for two nights. The shower and bed were very comfortable. Our window was able to be opened and overlooked the main street for great views and the sounds of the city while the window was open.

Great location,Right on busy walking street,3-4 walk from Placa De Catalunya Station, EZ access by Bus from Airport cost 5.90EUROS , Great vibe,Close to all delicious restaurant and Mercat de la Boqueria/St.Joseph Market and many more ,Every corner are full of surprises.Great Breakfast Fresh food ,Friendly staff.Highly recommended! You will need more than 7 days to explore lovely Barcelona!

The place where this hotel is located couldn’t be better. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is friendly, except the manager. When I asked the receptionist if we could stay a day longer she asked the manager who stood there and he replied something in Spanish and rolled his eyes. I could tell he was agitated.

I really enjoyed the stay in the hotel but at breakfast the staff the were talking to each other at the middle loudly for long time...every day like this...very noisy I want to thank Mrs Alla for very professional attitude and help.

- Basic room is tiny. We upgraded. - The lady that checked our room if it's ready. Didn't check it at all. The bar of soap was used. Toilet was dirty. And the floor was not vacuumed. I told her and she didn't say anything at all. - Rooms smelled fine. But the hallway (5th floor) smelled bad. Enjoy the great smell from lobby. - The only staff that is friendly and will actually help is Carlos. He needs a promotion or raise for his excellent customer service. + Breakfast was good. Not a lot of choices. But enough. Although, the croissant on our first day was not baked all the way. I would have rated 3 stars. But I'm putting 4 stars for Carlos.

Location is super. Parking garage is an absolute nightmare with anything bigger than a Smart car. Hotel is quite luxurious but the rooms need maintenance. Not perse refurbishment but just some maintenance.

The only thing that was good is the hotel location, otherwise the cleanliness was not good, on our first night on one of the bed sheets there was a big disgusting stain and on the duvet of the other bed was gray and yellow colour . We had to go to the reception around midnight to ask for new bed sheets and duvet, of course no housekeeping staff were available so the receptionist had to come himself and replace the bed sheets, I forgot his name but it was so nice of him . The complementaries like coffee or tea were not restocked. The room isolation between rooms and in the hallway is not good so there was lot of noises all the time

Just had 4 nights in this hotel. Excellent central location, hotel was perfectly clean, our room on the 6th floor was large and comfortable and modern with a huge comfy bed. Didn’t use the restaurant or the bar, but reception staff all really helpful and speak excellent English, far better than my Spanish! Only issue was that the shower floods the bathroom floor even though there is a full length shower screen, it makes the bathroom floor very slippery. Had an issue on our first night with the people in the next door room having a party at 3:30am, but hotel staff dealt with it quickly. I’d definitely recommend and stay again
