Remember, this is a 2 star hotel. Bearing that in mind, it's excellent, 5 stars from me. Breakfast buffet was also very good for the price, coffee bean machine (cappuccino not the best because it adds a bit of chocolate to it but Caffe latte is top class), orange juice, croissants, toast, ... Polite staff, helpful, spoke English as my Catalan and Spanish are too embarrassing for anything more than hello! They offered to keep my luggage after checking out. Room perfectly clean, clean smelling bedding, air-conditioning, WiFi, strongest shower I have seen in my life, hairdryer ... Yes, the furniture is not brand new but perfectly fine. Rooms are not very big but decent (and remember that they are cheaper than others). Curtains and roller blinds, windows can be fully opened. Safe in the wardrobe (haven't used it). Magnetic card key room entry, door locks from inside. The only downside is that the hotel is on the main road and there are a lot of loud mopeds in Barcelona... Take some earplugs if you cannot stand traffic noise. I was fine. They do have rooms on the other side so book accordingly. TV could be bigger but you are not going to Barcelona to watch TV ... Close to subway/metro, bus stop outside, corner shop and a Caffe nextdoor, supermarket 5 min walk (Lidl, they have good local produce and everything else you would want from a supermarket). I would definitely go back again.

Location is great, but the street is very busy and noisy (if you have windows there). The hostel is only in the first floor of the building. Reception is open 24/7 and the staff is friendly. First, we got a room with windows to a small stinky yard, but they were kind to exchange it for a better room. The equipment is old, but sufficient, cleanliness is also sufficient, done daily. Rooms have AC and a fan. Safety is good. I don't recommend double bed, which is extremely small, twin is better for two.

Like other places in Paris. Pictures are not close to what you get. Extremely small room, no window, step getting outs of shower, another step from small restroom to small bedroom. My husband fell. The breakfast is a joke. Toast with something inside. It became bird good, sorry pigeons.

My single/private room was perfect. Quiet, clean, and I loved the closet along with the sink in the room. Not having to use the shared bathroom for brushing my teeth/washing my face was so convenient. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the location is very convenient for trains or walking.

Very close to the L2 and L3 lines metro stations, which take you easily to most of the central areas of the city. The staff is very friendly and recommended me things to do and we had a nice little chat every morning. The rooms were good, were cleaned every day, and had nice air-conditioning. Bathrooms and toilets were clean too. The only downside for my room at least (107) was that there was only one single light, if you were there in the evening, relaxing on bed, but don't want total darkness, you only have the ceiling light which is quite bright, so kinda unpleasant. Not extremely much choice for breakfast, the different Bikinis were nice but the rest was a bit basic, yogurt, fruit in a jar and a muffin. (+ different hot drinks like coffee and tea).

I live in Sants / la bordeta, and my e bike battery died on av. Paralel, so I was stuck on my way home and didn't wanna walk home, so I ran in here thinking it was restaurant just to get Coffee and charge my e bike battery for only 20 mins . The woman on reception said it's a hostel but still got me coffee and let me charge my e bike battery which made my Life so much easier as I just wanted to get home to bed after a long day. If my battery dies again I'll definitely come back. Coffee was lovely!!!!! Thank you 😊 very friendly staff!!!!!!

This is a safe, pleasant apartment with a balcony and great view. Fairly basic, but good for a big group.

Nice apartment with plenty of space for 4 adults and 5 children. It had 2 bathrooms which could have been a little better as they were a little grubby. The location is brilliant as you are very central to everything.

The Hostal BCN Port is just a short walk away from Barcelona's port, the Ramblas and close to the city centre. Several metro stations are within a short walking distance. Although it provides rather simple accommodation, the room and the lobby were fairly clean. The room itself was not exactly spacious and a bit run down in some parts, but suitable for a short stay. In general, the rooms could use some refurbishment. The WiFi worked well and was quite fast. During our stay, the staff was friendly and helpful. We especially liked that we were able to book a airport shuttle at the front desk. The air-conditioning in our room worked properly, which was a blessing during the hot summertime in Barcelona. Overall, the Hostal BCN Port is an acceptable place to stay during a short trip/city trip. The bar next to the hostel is pretty good!

Me and my girlfriend had a 4 night stay at this hotel and it was a great experience. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The metro station is 5-10 minutes away and you have some busses which take you to the beach and other places right in front of the hostal. The staff was really nice. A good thing to mention is that you can leave any luggage at the hotel if you have an early/late arrival/departure. La rambla it's at a 10 minute walk Zoo 20 minutes Port 10 minutes

Small but clean and functional room. Friendly concierge who made check in easy and didn't mind my bad attempt at Spanish. Good WiFi for those who want it. Very close to main shopping areas, the Marmara complex, and aquarium. Good metro and bus links to other areas. Cafe underneath makes excellent cafe au lait.
