The hostel is a 10 minute walk from the Aerobus stop (from the airport) at the Plaza de Catalonia. It is very close to the Gothic Quarter that has a multitude of bars & restaurants. Plenty of supermarkets very close by if required. The rooms are small and clean (as expected) and all have a sink as a minimum to wash. Room cleaning available as required. Two showers available & I found little waiting time to use them. Breakfast available with coffee, orange juice & toast/jam. There is a kitchen area with a kettle, toaster, fridge, drinking water dispenser & microwave. Plates, cutlery & glasses all provided. At the rear of the hostel is a small patio area to relax _ see photo. The hostel was cleaned daily. The receptionist, Gina, is absolutely charming & from the UK so no problem regarding speaking English & Catalan. Gina was very knowledgeable about the City and moving around using public transport, recommending bars, restaurants & places to visit. Lockers are available should you need to leave your luggage after check out if you have a late flight home. Highly recommended as budget accommodation in Barcelona.
