Had a reservation which we got cancelled due to Covid back in 2020. Spain closed its borders so They should’ve given my money back, they promised they would and then never answered to my emails ever again. Definitely not recommend. I guess that’s how they treat guests.

Great location- but for a budget traveler there are so many better options. Very small staircase up about 6 flights of stairs to the top. No a/c and very hot rooms. We had the private room and the toilet is so close to the wall you cannot sit normally on it. You can also hear everything the walls are so thin. Would not recommend and I usually like every hostel I stay at!

I like my stay at Nitzs. It's clean and located in the heart of Gothic district. In a walking distance you can get to every attraction. Notice that they are on 3rd floor with no lift, it would be a trouble if you have big luggage. Considering the price, I have nothing to complain.

There was clear common bathrooms with shampoo (hair drier isnt there). You can use there the fridge and water boiler also. Tea and instant coffe can be prepared. We loved this place i can recommend everyone. The best was the location and the balcony.

Bed was incredibly uncomfortable. There's a lot of stairs to climb. And they don't open till after 9am, not great if you catch an overnight bus. Otherwise, ok location and reasonable level of cleanliness. Unfortunately would not stay again.

For what it was meant to be it was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom was also clean. Would book it again.

First things first.. 74 stairs to the hostel! Can't really complain about this, but it might be a bit of a nightmare if you have a lot of luggage. Bed was comfy, sink in the room and adequate storage for clothes etc. Staff were very friendly and there's plenty leaflets to plan a couple days adventure without much fuss. Free WiFi is always great. Good location. Would happily stay here again.

This 5 star review is not based on the infrastructure available. It’s is largely based on the fact that they have a great team of people at the hotel . Lee the proprietor is an excellent example of what I am referring to . They go out of their way to help you enjoy Barcelona and give you information regarding travel etc . Would go on about them but I guess they would be over worked if everyone expected the same from them 🤣🤣🤣 Felt safe during our stay in this budget hotel. A special mention also of the reception manager from Hungary who was so helpful always. All the best guys . Hope to be back one day

Good value for money. Clean room. Shared bathroom was ok, depends on other people of cause. Very central location in the old town and short distance to Barceloneta. Free Wi-Fi. Kitchen and living room available. On 4th floor without elevator in an old house - so you need to be in shape ;-) easy self checkin - worked without waiting time.

Very nice and affordable place. Clean rooms with space, good beds, friendly staff.

Wonderful. Very friendly service wit clear introduction. Accessible kitchen with tea to use for guests and fridge and other stuff (didn't use it though). Accessible common area/ living room. Walls are thin, so you'd hear your neighbours coughing. But hey, it's a hostel so I didn't mind. Other guests were respectful so I could sleep at night. Curtains could be bit cleaner in the rooms but for the rest room was super clean. Thank you for the nice stay! :)

Very good location, small but clean and nice rooms. Staff were really friendly. However should prepare with smaller luggages as the staircase of the building and the rooms are also a bit narrow.

An ok (overall mediocre) option, but budget -friendly and at the heart of the city centre.
