Matcha croissant was very interesting and tasty. It was good but slightly overpriced. They are using Ily coffee, so the coffee was also fine. Staffs were not so friendly (going to the direction of being rude).

I don’t really understand the buzz and hype. The croissants allegedly are the best ones ever, but I personally think they are rather average. The Dorayaki however are good. They taste like Nutella between two cold pancakes. But still: overrated and overpriced.

It seems rude and non-existent service is their specialty. It was not busy when we arrived but there was no acknowledgement when entering, no regard for who is waiting patiently for their turn (and being terribly slow at the job doesn’t help either), no smile, and still no acknowledgement after standing around for 10 minutes while begrudgingly serving people who come in after you… makes one feel so unwelcome and invisible. When confronted for poor service and ignoring customers, they act surprised. Looking at previous reviews, this is obviously not a new nor unique complaint. Steer clear - there are better places who value your business and respect your patronage.

It’s a nice place to go if you crave for Japansese desserts as the owner is Japanese and it has plenty choice of desserts, the place is well known for its Matcha croissant and handmade Mochi, the matcha croissant is pretty good and as well the mochis but kinda pricey. I’ve been going yo this place for years but after so many years the service still hasn’t improved.

Wide range of cakes, cookies, sweet, very delicious, not too swest and reasonable price. Recommended to every sweet lover. They also make customized birthday cakes which is priced by weight

A huge variety of croissants and mochis with unusual flavors, all handmade. You can eat inside or on the terrace, or chose take away. I had a croissant with pistachio and plum filling and white chocolate topping. Sweet, but hey, lovely indeed. The café con leche with almond milk was a bit watery for my taste. Friendly, quiet and clean place. A bit expensive, but overall I'd give 4 stars.

Probably the best Authentic Family Japanese Bakery. This is the best in the world. Definitely a place to be in Barcelona to appreciate high standard Japanese Artisan Cakes and the nicest family.

Amazing place! Not really well placed, had to walk there but worths it! I personally recommend the matcha filed croissant! Also, i usually do not like Mochis but the strawberry daifuku was good! A bit pricey but it was a great experience and a fancy gift for friends. ( last thing, the lady was talking english and there was an english menu. That's a huge good point for travellers like me!!)

The Hidden Fortress (like in Akira Kurosawa movie), I mean a small Japanese cafe/tea room on a less popular street. Very tasty croissants with various fillings (also with matcha). Nicely made and with a lot of cream. There are also other nice and tasty Japanese cookies (motchi, dorayaki). Good matcha latte and ceremonial matcha. The toilet should be better cleaned and prepared for customers (we were there early in the morning, just after opening).

A must in Barcelona. The Croissants and other pastry is excellent. If you ask for a coffee with ice, the cubes are made of coffee. Not much places do offer that, great 👍🏼 The place is self service, the staff unfortunately is loosing the head quicky if there is a queue of three or more people. Missing coordination basically and not much space.

A very known Japanese cafe in the Urgell quarter of Barcelona, very delicious matcha croissant, but the matcha tea seems a bit overpriced, especially surprised by the small portion. Other typical desserts are also offered such as Yuzu Croissant and more, worths a try.
