Last
night
I
visited
Bling
Bling
Barcelona
and
I
must
say,
it
was
one
of
the
most
disappointing
club
experiences
I've
ever
had.
The
night
was
marred
by
the
club's
aggressive
bouncers
and
their
blatant
discrimination
against
our
group.
As
we
were
waiting
in
line,
I
struck
up
a
friendly
conversation
(in
English)
with
a
bachelor
group,
admiring
their
personalized
T-shirts.
Out
of
nowhere,
one
of
the
bouncers
rudely
interrupted,
shutting
me
up
and
intimidating
me
for
simply
engaging
in
a
harmless
conversation.
To
make
matters
worse,
when
one
of
our
group
members
showed
their
ID
as
requested
by
another
bouncer,
and
they
were
“granted”
entry.
However,
before
we
could
proceed,
another
bouncer
aggressively
intervened,
telling
us
to
"back
off"
without
any
explanation.
We
were
left
stunned
and
confused,
wondering
why
there
was
such
inconsistency
in
the
way
we
were
treated.
We
had
the
“audacity”
to
ask
what
was
happening,
as
your
colleagues
had
just
asked
us
to
come
up.
It
was
then
that
we
were
suddenly
informed
that
reservations
were
required
to
enter
the
club.
This
came
as
a
surprise
to
us,
given
that
this
was
not
initially
asked
nor
communicated.
We
confirmed
we
didn’t
have
a
reservation
so
we
left
as
they
were
clearly
not
going
to
let
us
in.
What
truly
baffled
us
was
the
fact
that
as
we
walked
away,
we
noticed
several
groups
of
Spanish
men
behind
us
being
allowed
into
the
club
immediately,
without
even
showing
their
IDs.
This
blatant
favoritism
and
discrimination
left
us
feeling
outraged
and
disrespected.
As
three
women
from
New
York
City
who
have
partied
across
the
globe,
we’ve
never
encountered
such
unprofessionalism
and
biased
treatment.
We
understand
that
clubs
have
their
rules,
but
the
way
we
were
treated
at
Bling
Bling
Barcelona
was
completely
uncalled
for.
It's
a
shame
that
we
were
denied
entry
based
on
arbitrary
criteria
while
witnessing
others
being
let
in
effortlessly.
In
conclusion,
I
strongly
advise
against
visiting
Bling
Bling
Barcelona
if
you’re
a
foreigner/tourist.
The
hostile
bouncers,
discriminatory
and
sexist
practices,
and
overall
lack
of
professionalism
make
it
a
club
that
doesn’t
deserve
your
money.
Especially
as
women,
they
way
those
bouncers
addressed
us
was
just
scary
and
intimidating.
There
are
plenty
of
other
establishments
in
that
same
street
that
prioritize
inclusivity
and
provide
a
more
enjoyable
experience
from
the
entrance
and
through.
We
ended
up
going
to
La
Traviesa
and
then
Sutton.
I
highly
recommend
Sutton
Club
Barcelona,
the
Djs
were
great
and
it
was
a
fun
crowd!
