So, I know when you are in Spain, you are supposed to eat TAPAS, but after several days of eating at TAPAS restaurants, you just need variety. MOTI MAHAL hit the spot on my last night in Barcelona! Their food was incredible!! I have eaten in Indian restaurants in several countries including India, and Moti Mahal Barcelona has the BEST Chicken Tikka Masala I have ever had in a restaurant (my wife, mother, and mother in-law are amazing cooks). The masala is slow cooked to give it such a rich flavor, you can tell they took their time to make this dish. The naan were fresh out of the tandoor, right to the table. They have 2 daily menus that are VERY reasonable 10-15 Euros for a multicourse option. I knew what I wanted to just ordered it off the menu a la carte, and it was less than 20 Euros for 2 breads, chicken dish, yogurt, and a drink, so this place is very affordable! Not only is their food great, the owner and service staff were awesome. I was eating alone, and they were very attentive and brought me everything I asked for. I couldn’t wait until the end of the dinner to tell them how great everything tasted. The owner was so happy to see my enjoying my dinner. Definitely recommend to everyone who is looking for a great meal in Barcelona.

Stunning food. Pep Guardiola recommended the site to me. He in turn went because Harrison Ford told him so. I will repeat without hesitation. The chicken Tikka Massala is brutal.

(Translated by Google) We are going to this restaurant at least 10 years ago. It's very good, but it's really expensive for the food they give. Almost € 20 per beard is not taken away by anyone. Normal that the last three times we have gone is empty. We will seriously think about going back.

A nice little spot for lunch. The pic is the menu de migdia, 9.75 euros. I had the chicken curry, onion bhaji and yogurt. You even get a side of vegetable curry. Great value. My only criticism is that the curries were slightly salty but that shouldn't hold you back.

I've been going to Moti Mahal for years and I love their food. It is a family restaurant, it is not ostentatious but its food is homemade and I assure you that everything is very good. Everyone is very friendly, they ask you the degree of spiciness you want in your dishes and they don't take long to serve you. Totally recommended!!

The quality has deteriorated over the years..the garlic naan they serve now didn't seem cooked at the restaurant but heated from frozen packed ones from Haldirams available at the store.

when I was in Barcelona last month I went to Moti Mahal on the 17 October. I had a vegetable biryani, which is something I often eat, and have had in different restaurant in different countries. the one I was served in Moti Mahal was the worse I have ever eaten by a very long way. Price would have been cheap for a good meal.

Worth a visit. If you're craving some flavor/spice after being in Spain for a bit, this is an affordable, friendly, good quality spot. Very convenient to the subway at Parra-lel stop off the Green L3 line. The food is made fresh and will satisfy. Pakoras are not crispy, possibly reheated, naan not the best (feels like the dough didn't rise enough), but I'm being picky and the rest of the food was great (try the tandoori gobhi, fantastic texture and flavor). This is not super refined, foofy Indian food; it is just what you would expect from your neighborhood Indian joint in Los Angeles. We'll be back before we leave town and again if we're back. The web site says delivery and online ordering, although we didn't try those out.

Do not have the buffet of Indian food as the taste was quite bad. It looked like the Chef had cooked in a hurry for 50 guests and had forgotten to add some ingredients. Maybe A La Carte order is good as I saw a number of locals eating here. I was hungry but could not eat even the sweet as something was missing in each item.

Good quality Indian food with plenty of choice. Will cook specific dishes on request. Good price and home delivery. Unfortunately the decor is nothing special and they often have the TV on. Recommended for lovers of Indian food, which isn't as well represented in BCN as it should be.

(Translated by Google) I loved the Moti Mahal, the food is excellent and tasty. There are many options for vegetarians also respect the level of spice you want, the portions are perfect. We went to 2 and tried the delicious vegetarian pakoras, the incredible mushroom masala with the sweet sauce of the pakoras (we believe) and the most delicious in the world were the delicious carrot meatloaf. I really recommend this restaurant to those who want to eat spectacular Hindi and vegetarian. The cheese naans forever! Excellent service not for the speed but for the warmth and sweetness, the time is the least when the food is that delicious, health!

(Translated by Google) Just a steal. A hair socket. We went a large group, we had a reservation made and there was almost no other table to attend in the whole restaurant. However, just arriving we were "advised" to make a group menu because they told us that if we requested a la carte they would take us long. Since we were hungry and obviously long waits nobody wants, we accepted their group menu proposal, for 25 euros with drinks included. Well, after eating a small ball of chicken and a small ball of potatoes with vegetables (supposed starters) we waited more than an hour to get the rest of the food. When he finally arrived, he would touch a teaspoon of rice with a teaspoon of meat in sauce per person. Literally a VERGONY. At the time of payment arrived an account of more than 800 €, 800 € !!!!! We paid $ 30 per head for a dinner shame, which can't be called dinner.

I was reluctant to give this place a chance even though I live next door 🚪, thing is...I grew up between India 🇮🇳 and London so my standards are hard to meet. However the good reviews and appeal of the joint overcame my fear of disappointment due to the fact that is basically empty every time I pass by (several times a day) The food 🥘 itself is definitely fresh and made from scratch, samosas were great 👍🏻, so was the Naan, basmati was fine, pretty hard to mess it up though, then the curry 🍛 I ordered was a lamb Karahi, delicious gravy...however a bit on the stingy side regarding the amount of meat 🥩 and there were some questionable chunks in there, tasty 😋 though and pretty much cooked to perfection. My issue was realising that they’re cutting corners. I also had a lassi which was great 👍🏻 plus 2 beers 🍻. Everything went for €34 Fair value for money 💰 for the most part. Service was efficient and professional.
