The black rice volcano had a rich squid flavour. It had the richest squid ink flavour I have ever tried in any dish with the cuttlefish sauce, not to mention that the risotto is already fantastic. The beef was very tender and the creamy sauce added another flavour to the beef cheeks. The beef practically melts the moment you put it in your mouth, the flavours then gush into your senses, the beef, the cream, the tenderness. Eating is not just for fun. It is for enjoyment, relaxation and fulfilment. The beef not only gave us a rich beef flavour, the tenderness is also a sensational shock. The ribs were just as tender and had a unique sauce which adds sweetness to the dish.

Fabulous restaurant hidden in a dingy street. We couldn’t find it easily because of that. We were absolutely thrilled from the visit. When we entered, smiling waiter helped us with a stroller and ushered us to the table. Even though there was not enough space for the stroller by the table, waiter was really nice and stored it in the nearby room. Food was absolutely delicious and during whole dinner all staff was smiling and hospitable. If I could give more than 5 stars I would definitely do so. Highly recommended and we were visit again once we are in Barcelona.

What a treat!!!! This place is located kind of off the main street but definitely worth the metro ride to get here. Neighborhood felt safe walking here as well. We got a reservation for 7 day of at 9:30pm, and were seated in a nice table in the back with view of the kitchen and chefs. The blackberry mojitos (with or without alcohol) are phenomenal and might be some of the best mojitos you've had! The appetizers are sooo amazing and aesthetic. Highly recommend the super tender and flavorful beef cheek. The beef tartar seems to have some Asian cuisine influence - a theme in our meal - and was so yummy. Ceviche mix is very saucy and great. Then the main courses came and we were continually blown away. The octopus, calamari, volcano rice, etc, were all original and unique and felt so special. Definitely loves our meal. We gotta a candle and happy birthday song along with one of our desserts too. Best restaurant we have been to in Barcelona! The atmosphere is great (it’s a loud and busy restaurant), the food is also very special (you have to be adventurous for some dishes) but what really makes the difference are the great people working there. Everybody extraordinary friendly and really passionate about the food and the drinks. My girlfriend and I loved it and feel sad that we recognized this restaurant on our last evening in Barcelona - otherwise we would have come again. Just a small advise: the neighborhood of the restaurant is a little bit shady, to feel a little safer use the party street from the metro station university and don‘t go the shortcuts that google recommends.
