Cinc Sentits was by far the best fine dining experience we’ve had in Spain. Truly flawless service, food and wine pairings. I loved the thoughtfulness with which the menu was composed with wonderful stories for each dish relating to Chef Jordi Artal’s childhood and life. The dishes were super creative and paid homage to amazing local produce and Catalan traditions while also being unlike anything we’ve tried. We will definitely be back and have already recommended to several friends who have booked and visited. The only thing that I wished were different is the design of the dining room and restaurant. Personally we prefer open kitchens and being able to see the chefs at work and I felt that the dining room itself was a bit sterile and stiff. There is a table with a kitchen view for larger groups which we’d love to try. But again, that’s a personal preference and a minor comment on an overall spectacular meal and experience ❤️🙌

I had one of the most special dining experiences of my life here. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I felt transported into chef Jordi Artal’s vision. The staff executed every detail to perfection. Ingredients were fresh and local. The 8 course tasting menu was absolutely packed with flavour and even some lovely surprises. At the end of the evening, I had the pleasure of meeting chef Artal. He is down-to-earth and his passion for culinary arts and the customer experience is obvious.

One of the best fine dining experiences in Spain! Authentic Catalan food with a modernist twist. Friendly staff and great wine list. Tasting menu only at very reasonable prices. Go now before it gets discovered.

Why am I sharing a review about a 2 Michelin star restaurant and posting a picture of a brioix? Well, I don’t want to share anything but this picture about the amazing, unique and superb experience that I had eating at 5 Sentits. Pd: I’m single and I’m very happy. However I would love to spend the rest of my live eating the last dessert they served me, I wouldn’t get tired of it. Thanks.

We were very excited to eat here and got there half an hour before they opened and were the first two in line. When initially greeted, the host acknowledged our dietary restrictions and brought us in to the entry area where we were greeted with snacks, The first round of snacks brought out were taken back to the kitchen due to our dietary restrictions. When we sat the Maitre D came over to discuss the meal, ask how serious our food allergies were and asked if we were celebrating anything; we were on our honeymoon. Throughout the evening it became evident that this conversation was not relayed to anyone else. The menu comes out not as an actual menu but as a list of ingredients. This complicated the process when our server set us up for a course but while waiting for said course came back around to pour wine for the course to follow thinking we had just finished the last. I had to point out that we were still waiting on the initial. After we finished the meal and were given a copy of the menu, when we left the restaurant I realized the server had just skipped the first wine pairing course entirely. Menus are important, they keep the staff accountable. The kitchen was behind the entire night which meant we were waiting a long time between courses. We sat patiently sipping our water and kept having to ask for refills as the wait time between courses became increasingly longer and staff became increasingly sparce. All of this was juxtaposed by a friend of the restaurant sitting at a table next to us being very well attended to which, was not our experience. Our experience included dirty glassware, that had to be replaced twice and the second time I asked it was explained to me the glass wasn't unwashed just badly polished. I understood this and also understood I was sitting in a 2 Michelin star restaurant being served a meal on dinnerware that only looked dirty. While waiting for the last course I voiced our frustration about how slow the evening had been, the Maitre D' asked if it was "just too many courses for us". After he walked away I vocalize to my husband that they really didn't care. When the final course did arrive the person serving the food dropped it on our table, after he returned with a new plate I had to ask that the splattered food on the table be cleaned. At the end of the meal as I am asking for the bill to leave the chef came out to ask what had happened and explain the situation, it was appreciated but obvious most of our frustration had not been relayed to him. All in all the experience felt rife with a lot of small errors from the entire front of house staff. A lack of communication exacerbated the situation and when addressed the response of the restaurant was didactic.

This is the meal you want if you’re a visitor to Barcelona and wish to taste elevated local cuisine. Imagine a fine dining Catalonian tasting menu that’s a history lesson for regional ingredients. It’s always a treat when everyone around you is from Spain. An experience that’s worth every star.

Wow, just wow! A great food experience, both taste and visual. High quality. Formal and professional service from team behind, but still warm and friendly, with room for a smile and a laugh. ¡Nos veremos otra vez!

Unforgettable experience. Not only is the cooking top notch, but the kindness of the staff and the chef exceeded our expectations. We had lunch with our two kids (7 and 8) and the whole family felt welcome with many kind attentions. Thanks again for everything. We'll be back soon.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Cinc Sentits during our recent trip to Barcelona, and it was undoubtedly a memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a relaxed atmosphere that immediately put us at ease and set the tone for an exceptional evening. The decor is contemporary and tasteful, with a touch of Catalan charm, reflecting the innovative yet traditional essence of the cuisine. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive, making us feel valued and well cared for. The star of our visit, however, was the food. Chef Jordi Artal's Michelin-starred establishment truly lives up to its reputation. The tasting menu, inspired by Catalan cuisine, was a journey of flavors, textures, and aromatic bliss. Every dish was thoughtfully designed, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It was clear that the ingredients were sourced with care, and the wine pairing was expertly selected to complement each course. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the pacing of the meal. We never felt rushed, and each dish was served at just the right moment, allowing us to fully savoir and appreciate the complexity and depth of flavours. While it's a high-end dining experience, the relaxed atmosphere at Cinc Sentits made us feel comfortable and at home. It was the perfect blend of sophistication and comfort, an intimate setting for a lovely date night. In conclusion, Cinc Sentits offers a unique dining experience that effortlessly marries tradition and innovation. The level of detail and care that goes into every aspect of this restaurant is truly impressive. I would highly recommend Cinc Sentits to anyone looking for a culinary adventure in Barcelona. It's not just a meal; it's a delightful journey for your senses. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

This was one of my favorite restaurant experiences. Everything from start to finish was fantastic and I really enjoyed the little cards explaining what each dish was. The staff was very friendly as well.

Dining at Cinc Sentits is such a beautiful experience, in addition to being culinary journey for your tastebuds. From the moment you walk in you’re transported to a completely new world of calm and tranquility - a beautiful contrast to the busy bustling streets of Barcelona. An initial snack is served paired with a story about the chef and his family. From here you’re taken to the main dining room which continues the theme of calm and tranquility. The full tasting menu and wine pairing are a must! It’s truly an experience in Catalonian cuisine. The service is beyond exquisite and a well choreographed dance that pairs with the experience. Can’t wait to go back for our wedding anniversary in the future!

Can't rate this place highly enough, two visits, 5 years apart, and it's even better now than it was when it kick started our Michelin habit. Food is excellent, by anyone's standards, the wait staff can't do enough for you (spoilt my partner for his birthday!), and the new venue is bigger and better. Well worth the 2 Michelin stars, and every single euro. If you are in Barcelona, try and get in, you will not regret it.

I try to do one Michelin restaurant (if they have one) or at least one fine dining restaurant everywhere I go. For Barcelona, I’ve chosen this place based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. This was easily in my top 5 most favorite Michelin restaurants. The service from the entrance all the way to the end was quintessential and unequaled. We chose the tasting menu not the light one for the full experience. Each course seemed to get better and better and it’s honestly hard to pick a favorite dish. 189 e for the tasting and 159 e for the light menu without the wine pairing. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. We got a goodie bag to take home.

It was a great experience. Everything was artistically planned, from the moment you enter the restaurant until the moment you leave. Congratulations to everyone, but especially to the chef and his team!

Truly one of the best dining experiences of my life, and easily one of the best restaurants in Spain. Every plate was beautifully presented in an interesting/clever way. Each dish tells a story about the chef’s (Jordi Artal’s) childhood - from the Sardinada (the best tomato dish you’ll ever eat) to the Pork Tenderloin to the incredible fennel dessert. The setting is gorgeous and minimalist, but the service is warm and friendly, and there are many subtle touches that elevate the experience to something truly memorable. A must-go in Barcelona.

Amazing experience from start to finish. In my opinion worthy of 3 ⭐️. Amazing presentation. Amazing taste. Everything is on point. Service is fantastic and not overwhelming. All local sourced ingredients and dishes are spins on the local cuisine. I couldn’t recommend coming here more. One of the best dining experiences of my life.
