Aranya Resort and restaurant, a wonderful park lies in 8kms outskirt of Barddhaman town. In this resort you can experience the beauty of whole area by boat..You can hear the melodic Baul songs with a flavour of rural Bengal. The foods are excellent...You can spend here from Morning to late evening by package meal starting from only 350/- There are two NON AC rooms, you can spend wonderful outing with 1000/- (room). Excellent place for a day outing.

We had a Good Experience visiting Here. Excellent Place for One Day Outing. They have lots of Tastier Dishes You Should Try. A little bit High in Price but It's worth for A Fresh, Good Quality Food in A Good Ambience. A Folk Singer, Paddle boats, Floating Family Boat, Cottages and Rural Touch in an Enclosed Area makes it a Safe and Peaceful for Family, Children and Couples. Their Behavior is also Very Good. N.B : Bathroom Doors are rusty, making It hard to close or lock.

Theres food was too good..we came here to celebrate birthday of our friends..they were arranged a boat for birthday party..and they have soo many celebration package like anniversary, birthday or anything.. package was starting from 500/-..u can celebrate yours special day here..and also available some room but that was non-ac..1000/- for per room..

Very good place to spend time with family & friends. Away from crowded city but not too far. Sound pollution free & full of fresh air. You can enjoy Baul song ,can have a boat ride, enjoy beautiful nature, trees, flowers, Ducks roaming here & there. Can sit under tree with your loved ones & spend romantic time. Only 100 km from Kolkata, you can drive in 3 to 4 hrs. Entry fee INR 20 per person that includes free parking. Ample open parking available. Few rooms available @inr 1000 only for day stay, night stay will start probably from early 2023. Rest rooms available for gents & ladies & those are very clean. There are Big pond inside the property, where you can enjoy paddle boating & boating at nominal cost. Restaurant is clean & decently decorated.We enjoyed coffe which was very good. In lunch we ordered Aranya veg Thali @ 190 which has Rice, Dal, Alu Bhaja, Alu posto, mix veg, Alu phulkofi, Salad, Chatni, Papad. Additionally we ordered Duck curry(whole) @ INR 500 & egg curry @ INR 70. All those preparations were too tasty & we all love it. Overall nice memories & want to visit again.

Great experience overall. Good atmosphere. Reasonable price of ticket. Clean area. Picnic place available. Boating available. Variety of food available. Far from city disturbance. So 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 thumbs up.

This is a nice place for just day outing or picnic. Located far from the city crowd but not so peaceful at all. People visit this place through out the day so if you plans for night stay you will definitely sacrifice your privacy. A big lake with boating facilities is available. Rooms are not upto the mark for that price range, it could be better. The food quality is fantastic. They can arranged baul singers but all these come with seperate price range.

Nice place with lots of banana trees/Garden with a big lake, where they have arrangements for paddle boating.. N even having ur meal on a big boat... There r few cottages where u can spend one night.. N a garden to play.. But what I didn't like is the place was over crowded.. They are allowing families for day out trip as well as big group for picnic but the place is not that much big to accommodate huge crowd.. What I liked is Food.. We took mutton thali for 500 with 4 big pcs of mutton, taste of every food was good except Daal, lentil as it was too thin..
