We had a horrible stay at Vasundhara Inn. The hotel has no service whatsoever. No wifi, no road. Service was extremely slow. We ordered dinner at 7 pm and was served at 11. Two people manage the property, both clumsy, unprofessional and irresponsible. Also, the hotel isn't suitable for families. We shall never stay again at this property and won't recommend to anyone. Price wise it is not half the worth.

Food was good but location of the hotel is very interior. Rooms are good. However all the staffs remains to be alcoholic the entire day. There is a room 103, where they party with hard drinks. They stink alcohol even during day time for which they tend to become aggressive at times. They will cheat you with menu price. They will show you a different menu and while billing they will say prices got updated and that is written manually through a pen

The room lacked towels, shampoos, soap. The tv doesn't even work. The telephone also doesn't work. There isn't any proper road or parking either. There isn't any wifi either!! If you state online that certain facilities are available, you should also be held responsible for the customers not receiving these facilities. THE WATER RAN OUT IN THE WASHROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF A SHOWER! All this money we paid was for nothing. The receptionist guy was like a freaking thug so we couldn't even state our problems. We paid in online payment for ₹2600/- (mmt)and then this was our result. DO NOT RECOMMEND. AWFUL.

Location is near to Prantik station but too much outskirt. You will not find a single shop nearby. Food facility only available if the hotel is full with guests. However we ordered dinner on 8.30 p.m. and received the food on 11.30 after several phone calls.

Vasundhara Inn is running a different business not hospitality. We saw things we didn't like at all. This is not a family friendly hotel. Service was poor, location was bad, no wifi, bed was uncomfortable. Not worth the price.

Nice & pleasant stay. Very near to Prantik station, just behind railway quarters. If you like nice & peaceful environment, ideal place to stay within your budget. Front facing rooms balcony view is awesome, overlooking Prantik station. Staff is very courteous, food from restaurant tastes nice & homely. Recommended for weekend getaway with family.

A budget friendly hotel just behind of Prantik station. Good aspect.. Walking distance from Prantik station. Neat and clean spacious room and well maintained bathroom. Have restaurant facility. Staffs are polite and cordial. Bad aspect: Difficult to reach from main road by car or toto. Room service will Is poor and for food very limited option to choose from. The hot water facility in Bath room was not working properly. Final point average stay nothing remarkable.

My worst experience in a hotel. The staff actually asked me to get milk for my breakfast.

It is located next to the station, the service is very good but I would say take a room inside the city and you will get more facilities

Recently visited this hotel. It's very near to the station Prantik. The rooms are very nice and the surrounding is vety peaceful.The staffs are well behaved and well mannered. The only problem is the road.....even a toto rickshaw can't pass through that horrible road😅😅

Location of Hotel preferable as I found silence in environment. Prantik is the Nearest railway station. Hotel stuffs are good. And location is also well maintained.

Pathetic experience. When at first called the owner for booking he said since we are 3 adults+1 baby we have to book a 4 bed room since they can't provide any extra cot. This is a complete lie. We booked one 4 bed room for two nights. Room is very poorly maintained, no proper ventilation as it is at the back side. We found lots of ants around the bed which means no proper cleaning. Also found rats behind the head-board. When complained to the owner he started behaving rudely saying all these things can not be maintained always (how strange!). He said we will change the room and when I told if that room is also not good you must refund booking amount. His reply was that if I expect refund I must leave the room then itself at night 10:30pm with family and a small baby. This is the kind of behaviour I received from that cheap fellow. When spoke to manager he said why I am complaining at night while we checked-in at 12 noon. Later he told few people stayed in the same room who had booked from MakeMyTrip and never complained. As if since those people had no complain, I should also have nothing such. How ridiculous. Neither the owner nor the manager said sorry for once for the room condition. Finally they had to shift us to a double bed room with an extra cot after I raised my voice. Now remember the owner said that they can't provide extra cot in a double bed and ditched me to book a 4 bed room in the beginning. The hotel is at a remote place, no proper road and car parking. They advertised to provide free wi-fi but when I asked for it they said they didn't recharge. Completely unprofessional attitude from the owner as well as manager. However, the workers are far better and they cooked well. I shall never stay again in that hotel and request people to think twice before booking.

One of the best Inn in the town. It was our 2nd visit. It's very easy to locate. Located near to Prantik Railway Station. Just 2-3 minutes of walking distance. You will feel the nostalgia as you can see the passing trains from your balcony. Since the station or the line are not at all crowded so you won't be disturbed by the continuous train honks. Totos are available from the station itself to go all places be it Sonajhuri Haat or Kopai or anywhere in the town. If you are going from Bolpur Station then take a tot to the hotel, it's Rs.40/head. Coming to the room quality it's the best you can get at an affordable price. They do have their in-house restaurant where you can quality food with good quantity. But try to avoid ordering any snacks which is not up to mark. Staff and their behaviour is very courteous especially the Manager. And do check your food bill properly cause by mistakenly they added 2 extra water bottles though they rectified their mistake instantly. And carry cash if you want to pay the hotel cause for online transactions they charge 2% extra. All the UPI, credit and debit card payments are available. Happy Holidays ✌️

Budget friendly peaceful stay at Basundhara Inn. Staffs are polite, ready to serve always. Free supply of purified drinking water. Restaurant is there with quality food service, veg & non veg available. Only little bit far from main road, friendly cab service is available from Bolpur station.

Hotel is very good, serviced by well behaved staffs. It's just a 4 storey building. Rooms are very good and spacious. Wash rooms are also good enough, have geyser and mixture fitting. But the approaching road is "off roader type". The rate must be reduced unless the roads are made. Peaceful jone. One must have his own convenience. Overall good place and satisfactory. Foods are tasty and price reasonable. Don't have elevator.

A very good place to stay in a quiet, clear, tension free atmosphere of Prantik. Very clean and well maintained hotel and the organizing people are very good. Rooms and bathroom are clean too. Their food quality is also good. I have tried many items there and I liked them. So overall a very good place to stay.
