1 no Over priced ever ! 2 no food quality too bad ! 3 no Behavior is too much rude , specially the leady who is the wife of the owner 4 no they will froce for phone calls because the are not committed guy, we experienced badly. 5 no the distance from campus sonajhuri kangkalitala & the famous home stay hotel is too much. 6 no they have not any restaurant or professional kitchen even not sitting arrangements all are provides from their home. 7 no rooms are too much tiny

This is the worst homestay you can find in Santiniketan to stay the ros are damped and very very small and the room service and the food is the worst the behavior of the staff there is also very bad We ordered butter toast in the morning and it was the worst decision they only have us just white cold bread without any kind of toppings like sugar or pepper. They even charged for hot water 30rs for each bucket. It was the worst experience they don't even have swipping machine so we can't pay through card and there is nothing around 2 km radius of that area there are no shops present there. It was the worst experience.

You know how this place is corrupted right now and this hotel is doing the justice to it. Bad bad behaviour…

The were very approachable and helpful. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the exam center and then back again at the end of our stay. The suite was very good with comfortable furniture and the bed was comfortable too. We would definitely stay here again enjoyed my stay at your hotel. The breakfast was excellent. I must comment on your Manager of the hotel she behaves always like a mother I had a small problem and she handled it with grace, charm and professionalism.. She is a credit to your organization.

We booked two 2x rooms via oyo at shantiniketan homestay. It is very close to the station. There are a couple of things i would like to state. Firstly the owner was not willing to give two side by side rooms. Rooms were there but he was not giving. Then after a long discussion, he gave two adjacent rooms. But none of them had tv connection (set top box). Nowadays it is a basic requirement. We opted for ac rooms with tv but the owner said that he cant give two adjacent ac rooms with tv. As i was travelling with my 1.5 year kid, we agreed for ac adjacent rooms without tv. One such room had no mirror. When we asked the owner said that the mirror had broken and he will fix it. But there is mirror in the washroom. However he didn’t fix it. Anyway we settled in the room. After 30 mins the ac malfunctioned and water was falling in a huge amount. To my mere surprise he stated that it will be repaired by a plumber and not by ac mechanic. I continuously said that it needs an ac mechanic. Then we were shifted to a different room smaller in size. Very hard bed. It had a balcony but water was dropping in it (balcony)from the terrace. So the balcony was messy. So now we got settled in two disputed rooms which were not adjacent to each other. The room in which we shifted later had only one light and no dim light for night. The ac remote was not working. The food was not that great. The coordination among the staff was pathetic. The place has a potential to do better. It can be good. One thing which was good about the place was their manager Raj. He was very polite, helpful and had a very nice behaviour. I decided to give a very low rating, but raj’s attitude forced me to change the rating. He was a wonderful person. Thank u. I dont think i will ever stay here.

I can just say that not to book any room at OYO 41140 FLAGSHIP HOME STAY WORLD SHANTINIKETAN (BOLPUR). The owner of this hotel (Mrs. Soma Paul) made a trap for us to make her own profit. Actually to say WORST hotel have ever seen. No staff and restaurant are there. She usually says her own kitchen as the restaurant and very treacherous act she adopts to make the customers fool. No systems of sanitization are there. That hotel owner is an evil one.

Never ever go there. Location is pretty much inside. It's only a 'namesake' homestay. There is no remote correlation with a home stay. You need to go to the owner's home to have your food. The attitude of the lady serving food is pathetic to say the least. She had a grumpy look right from the start till the end. They would say that they give bread butter in breakfast.but alas, it's only bread without any trace of butter whatsoever. You need to ask even for the basic amenities like bedsheet and mug in bathroom. Moreover, he has a tieup with a local 'totowala' who will charge exorbitantly and make you pay through the nose. All in all, it was a very bitter experience.

Pathetic experience of staying here....i personally advice to all tourists not to book room here...the behavior of the owner is disgusting...he is always drunk with a rude behavior...the staff's do not have minimum sense how to behave with customers...they insisted us to write good reviews...otherwise they will not serve for us... they does not mug in bathroom..even they did not provide water heater in a non ac room in December..they threat us if we do not write good reviews they can do anything against us..this is the worst homestay i have ever stayed..

Home stay world is so much clean and hygienic.we are all enjoy here.food is delicious.Rooms are so decorative. Here's top floor so nice with garden.

We stayed as a couple there. The owner was so warming and welcoming. We were too safe. The food was too yummy and total hygienic. We even got a cycle to ride near by places... Must come to this hotel

Not a value for money proposition! The hotel owner is the manager and is good but the prices are not justified given the distance, and the quality of rooms! He charges almost twice the price of other hotels which are much closer to railway station and Shantiniketan Ashram a/meauseum.

Food is awful. Bad behaviour.

The communication is too bad. There is nothing surrounding the hotel. They hardly have any reception. The room rents are too high - no good for money. We had to pay Rs 3300 + GST for three people. The room appeared to be worth hardly Rs 1000. Not even a chair to sit. Not even a hanger to hang used clothes. Room stinks. No proper ventilation. I had to wake up at night due to cockroaches moving on my face - horrible experiencex very ordinary quality food, is exorbitantly priced One good thing was that availability of hot water. This is the only good point I can remember. getting a chance, I will not stay in this place second time.

I had a good stay with my friends.. (Uncle and aunty) The owners behave very well and they heled us to get accessible to the tourist place easily..

TOTAL PAYING RS.8064 FOR ONE DAY.
