A superbly created place filled with greenery, water bodies, cozy and sizeable stay (bedroom plus drawing room) arrangements in the mud villa, very delicious Bengali dinner. Quick responses from the hostess Mrs. Bose and ever willing support staff. Breakfast is included in the price. Tea biscuits served in the lawn morning and evening upon demand. Overall our one day stay was blissful, wish we had stayed for several days. My wife and I both plan to revisit and stay here for a few days.

One of the best stays that I ever had. I am in love with the property but more than that the people who took care of us. Felt like home to me. Parboti di who cooks and takes care of everything else is a darling. Always smiling and welcoming. The place is very accessible and once you are in the property you won't feel like stepping out.

A great pet friendly stay in bolpur. What strikes on first entering this place is the peaceful setting. A huge green lawn with lots of trees and a lake full of fishes welcomes you. We stayed at the 2 storied mud hut. I along with 8 others of my family went there(all senior citizens except me). Everything including decor, clean bathrooms and beds were all in place. They have 3 attendants to look after the place and they are always looking after your needs. Parbati and rashmoni take care of your cooking needs. The glass house to have your food too is beautiful to say the least. What was a bit of a problem was :- 1. Low beds(almost at the level of floor) was a problem for senior citizens(having knee issues or spinal problem's) in the ground floor of the two storied house. 2. There was not a mirror in the rooms except the bathrooms(female residents will always expect one in the room) 3. The passage from the backside to the glasshouse isnt lit up at night. The front portion is well lit but a long tour compared to the back. Again a issue for the senior citizens. Now except these minor issues all the rest was the best i could hope for. To list out the positives i will fall short of words. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Request the owners to kindly look into the suggestions i made for a better experience next time.

No electricity since 3 AM. No one to attend. We had a horrible time. Won’t advise to anyone.

Diya Mud villa, a place to stay in. It's not a hotel. It's a home away from home. We five school friends stayed for two days. It's an wonderful experience. The food is homely. The nice people are there to take care of everything. We wanted a quite place with beautiful ambience and it is that. Thank you.

I stayed at this beautiful place almost a decade ago and I still have vivid memories of how gorgeous this place is. It was a phenomenal experience for me.

Lovely quaint place. The best place to stay with your family and friends. Overall well maintained property. The cook and her assistants were very caring. Would likely be revisiting sometimes.

Really nice place to enjoy a break with fantastic food at a reasonable price. Only criticism would be that basic amenities like tooth paste, shaving accessories , soaps are missing which are expected as standard in properties of this standard and price range.

Suitable for one night, lot of mosquito and insects. Food price very high.

Diya Mud Villa is homely, gives a vintage feel and pet has great hospitality. Most importantly, it's not a hotel. It's somewhat like a guest house and this it gives you a very personalised feel. It is also pet friendly and you can bring your four legged family members for a weekend trip to Shantiniketan easily.
