The front desk person is very rude in behaviour. They took Rs. 1200/- for the room during check-in (16/01/21) but not provided any money receipt against it during checkout when I asked for the GST bill they told that they will give the GST bill if i will pay rs. 120/- extra as GST otherwise they will only provide a money receipt (as attached). They have clearly told me that if I need the GST bill then the amount will be mentioned Rs. 999/- as beyond Rs. 1000/- a person need to give GST. During check-in it was not told that GST should be paid extra or neither it was written clearly at reception that the rates are exclusive of GST. I can't believe their audacity that they cut the Deposit Slip and writen bill over it. The receptionist was Mr. Tushar Mondal and I was told the name of the Owner is Mr. Chandranath Banerjee. I think this type of hotels need to be avoided who run their business in an unethical manner. I reached this hotel reading the reviews in Google which totally went wrong, they even do not have any in house restaurant and the rooms were very shaddy and dusty the recharge in TV was not done. I hope that whoever is reading this review will not favour to stay at these kind of hotels who are desperately looting the money from guests and escaping from paying tax.

the rooms are okay but there is a probability of you encountering insects. i was there for 2 days and i came across 5 insects. also, the rooms are quite stuffy since there is only one window (for the rooms on the ground floor) and that window oversees the kitchen area where there is a probability of workers working so opening that window would mean invasion of privacy. but all in all, the location is A1. there are restaurants nearby and visva bharati university is only 2 mins on foot.

Last month we had a stay in this hotel for 5 consecutive days in the room named 'Udichi' which is a double bed ac room. Located in a very appropriate place, certain services are really poor. There is no charging point except the tv connection. Inspite of paying for AC facility, the hotel authority switch off the main AC connection. We have to enquire and then they will reconnect. Inspite of having a WiFi network, on asking they will not share the password, rather they will ask you to handover your phone, and they will input the password. We have stayed there previously as well but this time experience was really not good.The single bedroom is full of spider webs, bathrooms are not well maintained. The only service they regularly provide is they send a maid in the morning. Yet the service boys helped us with the luggage

Nice place to stay for cheap and close to major attractions, BusStand and train stations.

The room which was allotted was clumsy, the bathroom was smelling like a public toilet. The room was full of dust, spiderwebs everywhere. There was no food available (not referring to complementary) in the premises not even tea even when it's price is 1400 Rs. I don't recommend it personally.

Rooms are too good. Very well mannered staffs. I love the experience.

This hotel location is Good.. nice area. Transport connectivity is really nice. Hotel also good. The manager of this hotel is good . But one thing I must say there is a employee I don't know the name but behaviour of the employee is not good.. Room service must be OK. I stayed in room no 304. But hotel service is not that good. This lodge is really a nice one to stay in Bolpur. The staffs are so nice and helpful and it's so safe. They provide good services and the rooms are so clean and decorative. The washrooms are so clean. The room names are attractive. It is situated on Bhubandanga main road. Medicine shops and market places are nearby. It is a couple friendly and pet friendly lodge. And they doesn't cost too much. It's reasonable and nice. Loved this place and the ambience.

Rooms are good as per price. No parking space inside hotel. You have to park your car outside roadside. No in-house restaurant/food supply. You have to arrange it from outside.
