This place is beautiful but not clean due to low maintenance . Garbage, plastic materials , broken glasses are all over there so don't think to walk on the riverside without shoe . There are a few tea stall over the bridge where u can sit other wise there is no such place where u can sit and enjoy the view .

Sadar Ghat at the bank of Damodar River is a beautiful hotspot for winter picnics. Though it is a bit UNSAFE FOR COUPLES, because the ground has its literal control on the hands of the fishermen & illegal hooligans because of its location at the outskirts of the main town & far from the Burdwan police station. A short trip with a large friends groups is quite fun, but never cross the time more than 6pm. A must visit during the Chhat Puja.
