Even though it was constructed relatively recently, it is one of the major landmarks of the Bardhaman city now. It is a popular hangout spot in the evenings. Though historic, but it's adjacent areas are not that welcoming, as Banka canal is going just beneath this, probably carrying all the waste materials of the entire town.

Good place to click colourful pic beside fountain. But the bad smell from the canal beside and big mosquitoes will disturb you very much 🥴🤢😵‍💫

The tower looks very beautiful from the road and is more beautiful during Durga Puja and Diwali. This place is decorated with lights during the puja. Located between two bridge roads. Great place for taking photos.
