Badal Mahal is beautiful palace in kumbhalgarh. It is clean and beautiful place. It is attractive place for tourists and foreigners. Here available all types facilities like drinking water, toilet, bathroom and shop etc. Badal Mahal is the highest point in the Kumbhalgarh Fort. Famously known as the 'Palace of Clouds'. It is located at the top of the Kumbhalgarh Fort. Badal Mahal is a two-story palace. The whole building of the palace is parted into two interconnected mahals called the Mardana Mahal and the Zanana Mahal. Badal Mahal has the well-painted rooms which are painted with pastel-colored murals, representing the period of the 19th century. Place rooms have turquoise, green and white color schemes on its wall.

Nadal Mahal was excellent. Only ladies section is open for public. Queen's quater were good. From top sunset looks beautiful. Also entire Arawali range is visible. Beyond that Mevat region starts.

What a historical place it is. It gives you feel of old times and make you proud by its history. The mahal has many door which available at different distance and it denoted with names like rampole , gangapole and many more. Additionally the mahal has beautiful sunset view and provides clean atmosphere at top because the mahal is totally surrounded by trees.

Badal Mahal was built by Rana Fateh who ruled between 1885-1930. Badal means cloud & the Mahal is built at highest point of Kumbhalgarh fort, that seems to touch the clouds, so aptly named as Badal Mahal. It is a double storeyed palace with a corridor separating the Mardana Mahal (mens quarters) from the Zenana Mahal (women's quarters) Badal Mahal has decorative wall paintings all over & Zenana Mahal has stone jaalis. A narrow staircase takes you to the terrace of Badal Mahal, from where you get to see the panoramic view of the Aravali hills.

Kumbhalgarh , also known as the Great Wall of India, is a Mewar fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, just about 48 km from Rajsamand city in the Rajsamand district of the Rajasthan state in western India. It is located about 84 km from Udaipur. It is a World Heritage Site included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan. It was built during the 15th century by Rana Kumbha.

In Kumbhal gadh you will see Badal Mahal. As name tells it is in hight. You can see Badals around you. Can't see more than 100 meter far when Badal comes. Children's should be keep away. It's not safe place for doing fun or taking selfie, if you loose balance and fall down than nobody can save you.

The fort that has made its mark in history as the second largest wall after the Great Wall of China - it is none but the Kumbhalgarh fort in Rajasthan. The mighty fort is 3600 ft tall and 38km long that surrounds the area of Udaipur. It was considered to have been built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century.

A must visit place / Fort of Rajasthan. I have visited this fort two times , once in August and once in October. Both time’s experience was different. In august you can witness rains , but humidity was also there. In October it was better , far better actually. It felt like we are in some Himalayan place. Temperature was around 13-14 degrees. Try to spend/ witness sunset.
