A stunning beach with very fine sand. Dogs are not allowed on some parts of this beach, and it wasn't too clear regarding other parts. Very clean beach and a few small shallow areas when the tide is out which is great for little ones. A few nesting birds on one side of the beach area too.

Love my beach but dogs off leash, are scary. Please look at the signs and obey them. Thank you.

A beautiful place for a morning walk along the fore shore with your fury friends. Pack a picnic or take an early morning dip. In winter you can see whales frolic from the head lands. Beautiful part of the world 🤩💙

Beautiful place to take the family - beach with small waves one side, then a huge, shallow inlet on the other with no waves. Best of both worlds. Heaps of room to spread out and enjoy yourself. Water is crystal clear too!

Stunning. Part of the beach/island is closed for birds breeding and nesting at the moment. The water was clear and warm. Unfortunately the cafe is shut Mondays.

Beautiful place to watch sunrise and sunset. Lots of open sand also. Great paths, convenience store, play ground and skate park.

OMFG, this is one of the most beautiful little hidden treasures. We come here every year, for the shear ocean beauty and lay back feel. The fish n chip shop near the van park is wonderful too. 👌

Beautiful safe area for a swim. Tidal lagoon behind ocean side of the beach has heaps of sand area for play. Dog and kid friendly. Surf lifesaving with amenities, and a cafe/kiosk on site. Snorkeled around the rock pools and saw eagle rays and 1000's of fish. Some soft and hard corals present near the river.

- unfortunately very windy on this day but calm, peaceful and beautiful place. Recommend for walking, windsurfing, photo shooting or just relaxing. 🙏🏼

A great beach with very fine sand. Excellent views, cool breezes and warm waters. A great place for a day of rest and relaxation.

This spot is most epic... We went stand up paddle boarding in the ocean here... Flat as a tack, the hubby did a drift snorkel around the heads... Kids had a ball rock hopping and inspecting the rock pools.

Beautiful beach but we have a Dog and it's very confusing as to where you can walk with them. Kiosk does great steak sandwiches. Good places for families.

Nice beach to go for a walk along at low tide. Ok for swimming, but you should do it between the flags. Lots of dogs.

Loved the beach here but found that some dog owners had their bigger dogs off leash when entering and leaving and on the beach . The parks were clean and tidy and grass fresh . Thank you to the Council for their maintenance of a beautiful family and dog friendly environment.

Beautiful beach with a minimal amount of people. All kinds of marine life as well. Just watch your toes in the water. I hit them a few times on some rocks.

Nice place for a walk. The tide was out so plenty of sand to walk on. It's a good walk from one side of the river mouth to the other when the tide is out. Cafe near by and toilet block. All good Jim

Lovely beach. Little cafe serves a variety of food. Not much else there except a caravan park. Nice spot for a quiet getaway.

A great place. Clean, quiet and laid back. Great for a day, or a weekend.
