I had a great experience staying in this resort a few days back. It is located within forest area. Surroundings are scenic. I enjoyed long evenings walks through the jungle. Staff was super cordial. I loved their hospitality. Food was very tasty. I went to Sitakund falls which is within 2KM from the resort. Although I liked the beauty of the falls, but the banks of the river were littered by the local tourists. (Hum bhartiya log kab saaf safai ka mulya samjhenge). But anyway, this post was mainly about my stay in this beautiful resort in Simplipal. It was "Awesome". I will revisit this place to explore more or to unwind.

Positives: Food quality Negatives: Too many. Rooms doesn’t have basic amenities geyser, TV etc…need to shout for room service. The area is small and can be viewed just by coming out of the room. So nothing to walk by or explore. Quiet and greenery doesn’t mean you can spend 2 days just looking at 5-6 trees. Also this hotel is just 100 m from the gate so not deep in the forest. Net connectivity is poor at all places near the forest so cannot single out this resort. The price should be 2000 and not more than that. I have over spent on the rooms (3.5k) and one can judge by booking if it’s really worth.

Staff-5 stars Food- 5 stars Amenities- 3 stars Overall my experience was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The meals were great. The ambience is beautiful and well kept. They can do better in terms of adding more amenities and should definitely have extended cafe. We visited in off season, will surely come again.

Our stay at this beautiful, serene cottage was filled with warmth, affection. We stayed here from the 23Rd to the 25th of October. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city , this place has the charm and the ability to reguvenate us with its simplicity, clean rooms, fresh tasty food with the added warmth of the helpful staff always at our beck and call. Perfect recipe for a two night tour.

Great hospitality very comfy rooms. The view and the room very nice. Food was delicious and great. Activity area gor kids has many option.

Awesome place to stay and enjoy with your family and friends!! We were a group of 11 people friends with kids and everyone enjoyed highly!!! The weather was awesome and really no pollution made us feel refreshed!! Would love to come back again!!

My experience was NOT really good!!!. I had booked 2 cottage and 1 camp 4.5 months back in July for a 3 days tour with my parents and family friend and the booking was done by the manager ( Shantanu) himself. But 2 days before my travel date on Nov I was told there was an issue with online booking so on the 3rd day I will have to vacate both the cottage room and shift to a family room where they asked my parents to shift with family friends. Problem 1: The problem was the room contains 2 bathroom one indian and one western commode.Since elderly people are artheritis patiens they were limited to use only one bathroom. Problem 2: Roof of the bathroom drips cold mist water. Problem 3: 6 tents are available with only one bathroom that too without any gyeser. Hot water available oufside. Problem 4: its hard to get some sleep as people shout and party loud..no privacy at alllll!!!! Overall staff was good but family rooms was not at all good. And after giving booking confirmation months before and then lying about some random online problem was NOT at all tolerable. So please take my suggeation and dont book this resort even if you find the ambience great in youtube videos.
