So if you like wildlife then this is a great place to go. If you like to see some amazing beautiful from all the nature then again great. If you want a place for family hikes and easy walks great. But if you are looking for amazing hikes and treks they don’t have them. Well maybe they do in the north part but it was closed. Everything else was super crowded because everyone can just drive there and take a few steps. The crowds were crazy and with that they just care about themselves so they walk in front of you while taking pics cut you off and so on. Now the next day we got up and headed towards the grand canyon part of the park. Now we are there at sunrise so no one was there. We started at the lower viewing area of the falls and walked our way down to inspiration point. There is a nice and easy trail that you can walk on which was about 2 miles and it was so nice because I one else was walking. They all just drove to each point and well they missed some of the best views. Take the walk you will be happy you did. It is a must go but if you like great hiking then pic another park

Wonderful park, have spent a lot of time here. There are a lot of crowds during peak season especially leading up to an eruption of Old Faithful. If you visit, make sure to see more than just Old Faithful if u have time. There is so much more to this park than you would think!

Great place to visit. I flew in through Montana and it’s a wonderful city. I suggest renting a RV to navigate through the park. I drove a rental and had to back track every day to see all the amazing sites. The west entrance was the best!

Probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to. Absolutely changed me. Since my visit I still find it surreal. It’s a place everyone should experience. But, you should also respect it and the animals. Pictures are great! Just take them from afar. This is not a zoo. If you are on limited time, you can do that entire loop around the park in a day. The downfall is you can’t stay in one spot for too long. The visitor center is a must see. Take your time there for sure. And Old Faithful was a sight to see!

Yellowstone National Park is a natural wonder that leaves an indelible mark on all who visit. Its expansive landscapes, geothermal wonders, and diverse wildlife create an unparalleled tapestry of natural beauty. The iconic Old Faithful geyser captivates with its predictable eruptions, while the vibrant hot springs, including the Grand Prismatic, paint the terrain with vivid hues. The park's abundant wildlife, from grizzly bears to herds of bison, offers a rare glimpse into the untamed wilderness. Hiking trails meander through pristine forests, leading to breathtaking vistas and hidden gems. Yellowstone's ecosystem is a testament to the delicate balance of nature, preserved and protected for generations to come. The sense of awe and reverence inspired by Yellowstone is heightened by its geologic wonders, including the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. The park's commitment to conservation and sustainable tourism ensures its continued majesty. Visiting Yellowstone is not just a journey through natural beauty; it's a pilgrimage to a sanctuary where the Earth's wonders unfold in an awe-inspiring display.

There’s so much to see and do here! You can easily spend a week seeing everything. I felt as though the lower loop had more to see and do if you’re in a rush. The main points to hit are the Grand Prismatic and Old Faithful. There is a great view of the Grand Prismatic if you drive a little further north of it and park. There’s a trail that breaks off the parking lot and goes up the mountain to view the Grand Prismatic from above! Also keep in mind that Old Faithful goes off every 90min (+/- 10 min), so you may be waiting a little while there. They have a great visitor center in walking distance of it and a cafeteria though while you wait. There are great sights and wildlife here! Expect to travel slowly in the park from wildlife crossing the roadways (often bison) and people also stopping and slowing down to view wildlife. We saw two grizzly bears (and even had cubs run out in front of us one night), many herds of bison, and plenty of elk. The best time to view them is early morning and near sunset!

We took a 3 day snowmobile tour. It was awesome. Snowmobiles are not allowed off the roads, so the landscape looks untouched and beautiful. Eye opening to watch the bison root through the snow to find grass. Amazing thermals scattered over the park and the 1000' deep canyon with all the waterfalls was awesome.

We visited Yellowstone National Park this Autumn and it was one of the best experiences of life. The park is huge, beautiful, and full of amazing natural wonders. We saw geysers, hot springs, waterfalls, canyons, lakes, and mountains. The hot springs which I added some pictures of them, were so great. The weather was super cold, but we felt a cosy warmth as we walked. The vapour from the springs caressed our faces like a gentle kiss, which was so delightful. If you see the blue and clear water, mind that they are extremely hot that they may exceed the boiling point (some were 280° F). The darker the water, the cooler the water will be. We also saw a lot of wildlife, such as bison, elk, bears, wolves, and eagles. The park staff was friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. We also enjoyed some hiking, biking, rafting, and fishing activities. There was so much to see and do that I wish I had more time to explore. Yellowstone is truly a national treasure and a must-see destination for anyone who loves nature and adventure. I highly recommend visiting this park and I can't wait to go back again.

This is a huge park with lots of interesting places to visit. Lamar valley has herds of bison grazing and crossing the roads. Ole Faithful is awesome. Great affordable restaurant at the visitor center there. Interesting trails to watch and learn about the volcanic activities. Mammoth is a wonderful place to stay.

I don't know where to start reviewing this place. It is a sight to see. You can't get enough of the scenery here. Everything about this place is heaven like to me. I am a lover of nature and this to me is IT. If you want to take magazine like pictures of nature, this is the place. Nature itself will make you look like a pro when taking photos. You will need more than a day or two to visit this place. Make your reservation way ahead of time if you want to camp here. You want close encounter with animals, you got it. Come here. There is so much I want to say about this place but all I can say you have to come to see what I mean.

From seeing old faithful spout, to bubbling mud pits, steamy geysers, wildlife (bison and bears), this national park is a Must See destination. Make sure your dogs are on leashes and your kids are not running around because although very beautiful, this trip can become dangerous if you wander off trail. I have visited this national park a few times, and it never fails to impress me.

Yellowstone is one of the most beautiful places on Earth! There's so much to see and explore, and so many natural wonders that truly boggle the mind. Millions of people visit in the summer, but this park really shines in the winter when there are hardly any people and you have the park almost all to yourself. There's a certain magical quality to seeing everything shrouded in snow, and the juxtaposition of the heat and steam of the thermal features against the cold of winter makes for a really cool visual. There are few things in life that don't disappoint when you finally experience them, and Yellowstone is definitely one of those things.

Amazing trip. Great place to explore nature and have family time. Animals, camping, hiking and crazy nature to see. Went in the summer and it was crowded. But it was worth it. Beautiful park, great park Rangers cold lakes, majestic rivers and waterfalls.. we will definitely be back. The park will take a couple days or more if you want ro see everything. Definitely see old faithful and the paint pots. I imagine winter is beautiful here too, will be trying that soon.

Yellowstone National Park is very beautiful park and full of wonders!!I It is located in the western United States, largely in the northwest corner of Wyoming and extending into Montana and Idaho. The total area is 2,219,791 acres (8,983.18 km2)。Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful! You will see animals in the park easily . Pack your snacks and water, it’s a great self driving destination!

Of all the National Parks in the US, Yellowstone has got to be one of the biggest crown jewels of them all. Every inch of this park has something amazing to see - geysers, hot pots, diverse animal wildlife, so many kinds of plants and flowers and grasses, majestic mountains, vast and clear lakes with bustling life - Yellowstone is one of the ultimate national park experiences of a lifetime. Regardless of whether or not you choose to go hiking, go prepared as if you are because there is so much to see and a ton of walking to get there. Have and drink plenty of water wear good shoes, come with sunscreen and hats and the proper clothes. And leave the animals alone!! They may be used to the presence of us humans there, but they have big personal bubbles and they absolutely will tell you when you've popped it. The people who work with the national park service are good about sending you a different direction if there's an animal on the trails, and listen to them when they tell you to go around! These animals are gorgeous but they don't mess around. In addition to that, stay on designated trails! If you step off the path you don't risk just damaging wildlife but you also risk finding a secret little hole where a hot pot is brewing. If it's not on the boardwalk, don't step on it. With safety tips in mind, this really is one of the most incredible places to visit. Go see and enjoy one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Not sure how you could rate it anything less. This is truly an amazing thing to behold. The different landscapes. The animals. The vistas. You won't forget a trip here. You can spend as much or as little time as you want. We did the major sights around the loop road in a 12 hour day but it was tiring. We obviously didn't do any of the trails or any of the "minor" stops. All would not have disappointed I'm sure but at least we have something for next time. I could easily see spending 2-3 days of you wanted to see most of it. Definitely download the Offline Map of the area on Google Maps because there is NO CELL SIGNAL anywhere in the park. Even when you do get a signal, it is weak and only cell (no data)

Yellowstone National Park is a breathtaking wonderland of natural beauty. Visiting this iconic destination was an awe-inspiring experience. The geothermal features, including the iconic Old Faithful, left me in awe. The diverse wildlife, from bison to elk, added a touch of wilderness to the stunning landscapes. Exploring the park's trails allowed me to immerse myself in its unique ecosystems. The vibrant geysers, colorful hot springs, and picturesque canyons create a surreal atmosphere. Recommend to visit once in your lifetime!

Very beautiful. The wildlife are use to people but keep your distance. Geysers are everywhere. We were able to go right in and find a camp site. Lots of hiking trails. You can rent a boat if don't bring your own. Plenty of gas stations and stores with anything you could need. My favorite area is the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. I could not believe how large the Gorge is and how beautiful the waterfall is. There are many waterfalls throughout the park. I enjoyed seeing the fields of many colors with flowers and grasses.

When we entered Yellowstone National Park our minds were still blown from The Grand Tetons. We explored in near silence except for exclamations of wonder. Super volcano beneath the surface, 10,000 hydrothermal features, largest population of animals in lower 48, and snow&ice abundant on the last few days of May.

My wife and I traveled from Texas to see this amazing place. WOW, what beauty it holds. This is a MUST see for anyone that loves to get out and see God's creation. One of the most beautiful places on this earth. There is so much to see that we will be back with our children to share this experience. We really loved the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Have your walking shoes on because we walked about 7-8 miles in one day. We didn’t get to see very much wildlife (only about 2 dozen bison and one small bull elk) unfortunately but we will be back some day. The weather was perfect for the time of year we went (mid September). Wasn't too cold and definitely wasn't hot.

An incredible experience. We went in the summer, so it was very crowded. We saw a lot of wildlife, hot springs, waterfalls, and geysers. It was so easy to travel in a RV. The land scape was very beautiful. Mammoth Hot spring, Lamar Valley, The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone were some of the places I enjoyed the most. We had a wonderful family time there and can’t wait to go back again.

Well it's Yellowstone! It is a dream place for many, myself included. I really recommend the grand loop drive if you have a couple of days to visit. I went in through the West Yellowstone Entrance, which is very close to the Grand Prismatic and Old Faithful. There are so many things to see and explore!

Always love going to Yellowstone. I would suggest going in September when it is cooler though. Split the park into two days. If anything make sure you see old faithful, the grand prismatic springs, mammoth hot springs, and the lower falls on the east side. Also, Huckleberry is everywhere. Buy something safe like honey or preserves

We traveled to Old Faithful on our first day, stopping at the sights and completing one hike to a waterfall. The second day, we traveled the upper loop. Be sure to start a smidge early and finish up before dinner. Bring twice the socks you wouldn't normally bring to change out of them once you're done hiking. If you are not from a higher elevation, have a can of oxygen on hand -- altitude sickness can hit after a couple of days, and even the town outside the park are at 6500+ ft. There is generally no cell service. Download a map and music for your driving. Plan to extend any drive you take due to slower traffic or animals in the road. Overall, it wasn't too crowded the first week of October. It was much cooler in the mornings and evenings, warranting a jacket, but midday allowed for just long sleeved shirts. Many hikes are quite steep and not looped, so you'll need to climb back up from most of the trails you climb down. Gas is outrageously priced both in the park and in the side towns. Most of the geyser areas smell of strong sulfur. Beautiful sights! Saw bison, elk, a coyote, ravens, and chipmunks.

Yellowstone is worthy of all bucket list!! So much diversity in one national park!! According to me the top places of Yellowstone would be upper and mid geyser basin area!! Lamar valley is so beautiful and dream place for wildlife photography. Free moving bisons and other wildlife encounters are experiences to remember. One should try to stay inside the park to get the real feel of the park and to observe the beautiful night sky. Animals are mostly active during early morning and evening time.Yellowstone has most of all the active geyser in the world and this is something that everyone should experience once in their lifetime!!

I’ve been to 37 of the 64 National parks in the United States. I really enjoy tropical climates most. But I’ve got to give credit where it’s due. This place has to be the most amazing park I’ve ever visited, the views are breath taking. The wildlife is nothing short of incredible. I love this park. It is absolutely the best I’ve been too.

We were fortunate enough to be there when Yellowstone reopened after the devastating flood. While the south loop was only open, we still spent 3 days in the park and still didn’t see everything. It’s such a beautiful and unique park. Our kids loved seeing the geysers and wildlife. We never wanted to leave and can’t wait to go back and see the north loop sometime too!

Yellowstone National Park is a true natural wonder and a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates the beauty of the outdoors. My recent trip to Yellowstone left me in awe of the breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife that call this park home. The geothermal wonders of Yellowstone, including the iconic Old Faithful geyser, were nothing short of spectacular. Watching the eruptions and seeing the vibrant colors of the hot springs was a mesmerizing experience. The park’s wildlife did not disappoint either. I was fortunate to spot bison, elk, and even a grizzly bear during my visit. The park’s commitment to preserving these species and their habitats is commendable. The hiking trails in Yellowstone provide opportunities to explore the park’s stunning wilderness up close. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more challenging hike, there’s a trail for everyone to enjoy. Yellowstone’s campgrounds and lodges offer comfortable accommodations, making it easy to immerse yourself in the park’s natural beauty. The rangers and staff are knowledgeable and helpful, ensuring a safe and enjoyable visit. In summary, Yellowstone National Park is a treasure trove of natural wonders and a testament to the beauty of our planet. It’s a place where you can connect with nature and experience its wonders firsthand. I highly recommend visiting this remarkable park.

Yellowstone is amazing. Lamar valley was closed while I was there so I guess I'll have to go back. The park has so much to offer, easy trails to advanced. The wildlife was everywhere, the scenery was spectacular. You can see mountains, valleys, plains, forests, and active geological areas that look alien. The visitor centers are worth a stop too.

This is such a beautiful place! We came and it was nice weather. We saw old faithful, and it happened 10 minutes after predicted though. It was pretty cool. But you mostly just saw the mist. I would still recommend going and seeing it erupt. Also, we went in early summer, and there were so many bison! They were everywhere! We also so a lot of cool hot springs that were very colorful! It wasn't too busy there. I think Yellowstone national park can be a good place to go for a vacation or if you live closer, just a weekend adventure! I think somebody could spend a week here and never get bored! They have nice hotels that you can stay at too.

I've been to many national parks in California but there's nothing out there like Yellowstone. It's unique and in my opinion is something any nature lover should visit at least once in his lifetime. We were fortunate to have one of our best friends and a local guide take us around. We had the time of our lives! Spend at least a few days, preferably a week or more there. Camp grounds get booked early, very early! We stayed in motels just outside the park since our trip was planned fairly late. Enjoy these pictures.

Beautiful National park in (mostly) Wyoming. This first NP was designated on March 1, 1872, 150 years ago. Old Faithful geyser, iconic lower Yellowstone fall and canyon and Prismatic pool are only a few features of this large NP (50x40 miles). The figure 8 loop roads in the park can be bumper to bumper at peak times. It may take hour(s) to go from one area to next. Plan one area per day. There are at least 4 major popular areas. Plan at least 4 days and future visits. Our second visit was more enjoyable than the first. Numerous wonder hiking trails offer tranquil experience of the park away from the crowd for those taking time to explore the park. Old Faithful visitor center has helpful rangers who can help your plans. Be respectful of the wild animals in the park and do not forget bear spray. Definitely should be on the bucket list for everyone.

Amazing park worth all your time and more. We managed to squeeze in all the major sites in five days, but highly recommend at least eight nights. Recommend bringing your own food, as eating at the park restaurants will become monotonous and can be a bit pricy.

5 starts for the park itself. It’s a magical place with so many things to see. Definitely a bucket list place. Make sure you stay for a few days if you want to see everything. Camping sites require reservations, so make sure you take care of that in advance. A lot of people everywhere - yes. But coming is worth it. If you want to see wildlife - wake up early, or be on a lookout before sunset. If you’re not coming with a tour - HIGHLY recommend getting Gypsy guide app and a Yellowstone tour there. It’s only $15 but sooo helpful. You won’t regret it. Cons: we had our dog with us and the park is not dog friendly in a sense where you can’t take a dog on any trails or sightseeing.

It is a U $ A national park located in the states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. It is the oldest national park in the world, and a landmark in the history of protected areas. It opened on March 1, 1872 and covers an area of 8980 km², most of it in Park County, in northwest Wyoming. The park is famous for, among other attractions, its geysers, its hot springs and its variety of wildlife, which includes tame bears, wolves, bison, elk, and other animals

We had a great time on a snow coach tour to old faithful, biscuit basin, and a few other stops. The temperature was -25 when we started and we were told it hit -38 at the old faithful visitor center overnight and they lost power. We saw buffalo/bison, coyote, and a lot of waterfowl. Lots of great photos and an enjoyable time. Make sure to check out more than just the most popular locations (old faithful) because a lot of our favorites were things we'd never heard of before. It was quite cold but still very worthwhile.

The Most Magnificent place on Earth I've seen! Beautiful, Wonderous, Magic and a Life Time Dream for me! Wyoming has a real mismanaged banana republic police state thing going on near the park. They inexplicably closed a road offering campsites in a remote area with no other option within 200 miles drive. When people tried to get some shelter as night fell they sent the police to give everyone 100s of dollars of tickets for out of bounds camping. There are plenty of other places in America that are as or more beautiful than Yellowstone and don't have this sort of blunt force mismanagement going on. I'd advise you to stay away from Wyoming.

A national park in Wyoming, famous for its spectacular geysers, hot springs, and other geothermal features. America’s oldest national park, Yellowstone covers nearly 3,500 square miles (9,000 square km) of forest, grassland, mountains, lakes, and canyons. It contains the greatest concentration of geothermal features in the world, including geysers, colorful hot springs, and mud pools. Heat supply. Yellowstone’s geothermal activity results from the fact that part of the area rests above a huge underground chamber of magma, which serves as a constant heat source. The features are arranged in distinct areas called geyser basins. Upper Geyser Basin contains around 150 geysers, including the famous Old Faithful, and several colorful springs. Many of the geysers erupt more than 100 ft (30 m) into the air. Plentiful rainfall seeps through Earth’s crust and is heated by the magma chamber, providing a continuous hot water supply for the springs and geysers. Geological diversity. Rugged mountain scenery, deep glacier-carved valleys, waterfalls, canyons, and rich wildlife are among other interesting features of Yellowstone. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, as well as two waterfalls on the Yellowstone River, constitute some of its most dramatic attractions. Considered the world’s largest intact ecosystem in the northern temperate region, Yellowstone is home to many large mammals such as American bison, wolves, black and grizzly bears, and moose.

We visited Yellowstone in December of 2020. It was Beautiful! Although there were road closures, the part we visited was a winter wonderland! It's quiet and serene, and you don't have to search for a parking spot. There was plenty of wildlife to observe.

Stunning! This place is so breathtaking and relaxing. This is definitely a park that you need to visit in person to be able to fully experience its immense beauty. (I just wish they had more funding for plumbing. The restrooms around the park are all primitive restrooms and don’t have light... Just my two cents).

Got to see a buffalo kick someone's bumper so hard their radiator exploded. No as many yellow stones as you would expect.

Yellowstone National Park is a breathtaking masterpiece of nature, where geysers dance, wildlife roams freely, and landscapes shift from lush forests to otherworldly thermal wonders. The park's vibrant colors, dramatic canyons, and the iconic Old Faithful create a sensory symphony that leaves visitors in awe. It's not just a destination; it's a journey through the heart of Earth's untamed beauty. Yellowstone is where the wild whispers, and every rustle in the trees tells a story of the untamed wilderness that captivates the soul.

I love this place! I went here last summer for the first time and it was beautiful!! The Yellowstone town is great, it’s for great lodging, gas, and food. A restaurant I recommend is called the “Slippery Otter” I believe. There’s so much wildlife to see and it’s really cool! My favorite animals were the bisons. This place is filled with beautiful hot springs, jaw dropping geysers, various wildlife species and more! I definitely plan on going here plenty times in the future, and I have a lot of time to do so, I’m only 16 as of today and I love traveling. I hope I can go with my family again in a year or two, especially since there’s a lot I didn’t get to see. I’m also a beginning photographer and took a ton of great pictures on my trip, here’s a couple.. Also I recommend Old Faithful!

Snowmobiling the park as been on the bucket list since we visited the park many years ago in the summer. We went on excursions with @twotop to both the canyon and old faithful and we had a blast! So glad we finally made this happen!

Yellowstone is a once in a lifetime place to go see, it is a place of wonder. walking around looking at all of the geysers and hot springs you tend to forget that you are actually walking/driving in a massive Volcano...it's beautiful indeed

No words for this park .We went there in the recent April storm time .The park roads were scheduled to open in mid April .But the weather posed a threat to delay or even cancel the opening .But kudos to the park rangers who kept working continuously to enable us to visit the park from West Entrance on the scheduled open date The roads from West to Madison ,Madison to Old Faithful , Old Faithful to Mammoth Hot Springs & Norris to Grand Canyon were opened . It was a winter wonderland (definitely needed Snow Tires on cars) . Drive through Lamar Valley was surreal .Plenty of Bison & Bison Jams in the park. In addition to Bison ,we saw Wolf,Deer, Elk . Old faithful erupted about 10 min late to what was written on nps website Grand Prismatic Spring was engulfed in snow storm

Amazing! The snow made everything even better. Up close with buffalo! Saw wolves, elk, big black bear, swans, fox, coyote and just missed a grizzly. Hope to go back. It was the off season so a lot of roads were closed inside. Old Faithful blowing while huge snowflakes were falling was a plus.

Amazing! Unbelievable! The best national park ever! You can enjoy the nature and wild animals by car. Very comfortable way. It's made of circles, and when you first enter, there are left and right roads, and most of them look at the right first. However, if you want to see more wild animals, I recommend going to the left. There are few restaurants, so the line is long, so it's good to buy lunch before entering.

Where there's deer, there's wolves. Why do predator/prey populations fluctuate? Predator and prey populations cycle through time, as predators decrease numbers of prey. Lack of food resources in turn decrease predator abundance, and the lack of predation pressure allows prey populations to rebound. ... They have been particularly useful in understanding and predicting predator-prey population cycles.

I had a great time at Yellowstone. Everybody always talks about Old Faithful. Personally, I thought the grand prismatic spring and Yellowstone falls/canyon were the stars of the show! Drove past a bison walking with its young calf on the road, also saw a bald eagle and a moose. I wish we could have seen more wildlife but probably wasn’t going to happen since we went during the more busy time of year. Traffic can be a nightmare. People stop in the middle of the road, get out of their vehicle and gawk at things without thinking about traffic behind them.

I was at Yellowstone before the flooding. It was as a wonderful experience. We saw about a quarter of the park in whole day. Beware the changes drastically very easy so go prepared for cold and hot same time. Love the geysers.

Yellowstone is a very pretty park and reasonably easy to access various sites. Several of the key view points have easy to walk paths. I stayed 2 nights in a campsite located inside the park. The camp was clean and enjoyable. I was able to visit a period where it was not incredibly busy, but I believe the park has had a large uptick in visitors since I went. This may be a con if you want to visit more quiet and serene areas. But overall it's a very gorgeous and in an incredible place, definitely worth a visit.
