We love Clissold Park and its goats, deers and birds. The playground is huge and great fun for all ages. The sand could be a bit nicer. Clissold Cafe has a good babychino for my little one and I cannot wait to have the paddling pool redone and open again. Great times in Clissold park. The old, huge trees are impressive as well.

This is a great park, one of the best ones in London I have been to so far - the park is being well looked after and there is a lot of stuff inside of it. There are tennis courts and children playground, there are animals like deer and goats as well as birds, there is a small pond with ducks and other birds. The park obviously gets a bit crowded during the weekends

The park doesn't look not big on the google map,but it has everything, it's a very exquisite park and there's a lot of food options in the cafe. And you can find deers.

This is a beautiful park, full of activity and well used by the local community. The centre point is a very pleasant cafe, that does a roaring trade. It also has a lovely small waterway and some small lakes that sustain some pleasant Bird and plant life. It also has a small wildlife space including deer and other animals, and an excellent children's adventure play area and some tennis courts. The open green spaces interspersed with some interesting trees create a relaxing and peaceful environment. This park contributes to a good quality of life in the inner city.

Very nice relaxing park, has cafe, ponds, tennis court, animals and children's play area. Safe to walk dogs too. Vibrant and relaxing energy in Hackney borough. Cute to see Goose with little newborn gosling and ducklings.

Walked through part of the park, a great open space, well used by families, dog walkers etc. Didn't have time linger on this occasion, but previously I visited with a friend, who as a child spent hours there, reminiscing about the outdoor swimming pool.

Clissold Park is such a beautiful park but unfortunately it was like a festival on the day I passed through. Thank goodness I was on my bike so I could get out of there quickly. There were so many people there and so few with masks

It's a spectacular park with different hills to walk or many flat surfaces to have a picnic or to run/jog/stroll. The grass is nicely trimmed and well maintained. The benches have a unique design. Many coffee places and even an area with deers. Next to it, there is a climbing wall for those up for a challenge. Definitely recommend it any time of the year and for any ages.

Beautiful park with a mini zoo in the middle. Deers and goats are always there, but on my recent visit I spotted that the parrots are now sadly gone. Still worth a visit!

Beautiful scenery. Space is vast. It's filled with basketball, tennis, skateboarding, and cycling parks. As well as a playground and a comically mini farm for the kids. On the opposite side the park is finished with small lakes littered with swans, ducks, and ducklings.

It is a beautiful park. Nice walkways and beautiful nature. There were pelicans in the summer and some green birds and of course squirrels. There is also a coffe shop place that you can find some food and beverages. They have outdoor seating too. There are toilets in the park as well.

Excellent park very clean and always nice. Watch out for the youngsters who smoke weed at the North entrance of the park. My kids complain of headaches so we never sit there by the big bark tree branches on the floor.

Came with a friend. Had a picnic and played some games, laid down for a bit under the shadow. Decent park: enough space and we were able to see the different animals they had. Including: goats, colourful birds, ducks in lakes etc. We didn't see the deers probably because they were resting somewhere. There is also the main playground and the smaller one for the littlest ones. A splash pad (only open in weekends). And there are different sport activity areas ie basketball/tennis and skate park etc. It's a big park but good thing you don't have to walk for ages to see everything, everything super near. It's just the right size for a chill day.

The park has lots of green spaces with a small area with goats etc, a small children's outdoor splash pool and play area. Cyclist friendly and also lots of Sunday morning football players. Paid parking is scarce and requires a resident permit or go for outside of parking enforcement hours.

Lush, lush Park with some sights and wildlife enclosures as a bonus. Dropping a star as it was just brimming with people the minute the sun popped out. Couldn't really find a decent space away from couples slapping sunscreen on eachother.

This large park has Manor House at one end and Stoke Newington at the other. The park offers ample space for walking dogs and two playgrounds for children. A cafeteria can be found at the rear of the park, which serves hot and cold snacks, accompanied with hot and cold drinks.

Large municipal park, with plenty of open space to enjoy. A godsend during the pandemic. Also an old manor house with a cafe inside and a nature area with goats and fallow deer, native to the UK. Highly recommended.

The best playground I've been on. I came all the way from North Chingford with my child, and he loved it too. Lots of opportunities for climbing, which is so important for toddlers. Also a big sand area for sensory play, again so important for this age. Most playgrounds have swings and slides only. Maybe some other equipment, but Clissold Park playground is far the best. Another important detail, there is a public toilet.

A wonderful park in Stoke Newington in the borough of Hackney. It covers an area of 55 acres and has tennis courts, bowling green, skateboard area, cafe and 2 lakes which are home to ducks, geese and swans. Perfect for joggers and dog walkers. Also great for photo shoots.

  • 4/5 Ben M. 2 years ago on Google
I grew up in Stokey, always within a short distance of Clissold Park, and I’ve spent a lot of time there, with many fond memories. It’s a moderate sized green space incorporating two lakes with a range of waterfowl and other wildlife, a cafe, a skate park, tennis courts, a children’s play area, a butterfly enclosure, aviary, deer and goats. Part of the New River can still be found running through the park. It can be crowded at times, especially on the paths and around the lakes, so if you want more space you may want to venture to Hampstead Heath and other, larger green spaces.
