Very nice and beautiful park in Highgate area. Everything you need from a park you can find there ONLY CARPARK is not available and easy, please double check every where before go there if you decided to drive. I recommend driving because most of around is not public transportation available only in one direction you can find and rest you need to walk or drive. Also, it has two nice BBQ πŸ— spots inside park with full recycling facilities for your BBQ’s. Two small and medium ponds are located there, facilities are in east side and not too far from other side. Children play ground are ok in couple of areas. I recommend for you and your family and friends for one day relaxation and enjoy πŸ˜‰.

Waterlow Park in London is a delightful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. This hidden gem offers it all: a charming cafΓ© for tasty treats, tennis courts for sporty fun, and views that will take your breath away. The atmosphere is pure bliss, like stepping into a serene oasis. Don't miss out on this tranquil haven in the heart of the city!

This park feels unlike any park in London - and that's a good thing. Plenty of green space, a great spot to come and have a picnic and take in the scenery, or just come and have a brisk morning or afternoon of exercise and let off some steam. There's a lovely CafΓ© and art gallery too so there's plenty to keep you entertained for sure.

Even 5 minutes in this park help to feel better. Its trees are so big, people seem tiny next to them. There are many birds, and they sing beautifully. A nice view over Docklands.

Waterloo Park, Highgate, is a stunning enclosed park with several gated entrances. The gates are locked overnight. There is a beautiful pond with ducks, Canada geese, moorhens, etc. The pond is surrounded by railings to protect the water fowl from dogs, prevent damage, and to ensure children don't fall in. There is an enclosed children's play park and plenty of green space with benches along the various paths. This used to be my local park, but I moved away 18 years ago. I had almost forgotten how beautiful and peaceful it is!

This is a lovely park at the base of the Hampstead heath. It contains a Gated park with a slide, swings and benches. Additionally there is a climbing area for older children. Dogs are allowed both on and off lead. There is a great cafe That is both dog and children friendly. Definitely take time to visit the graveyard next to the park!

A wonderful park that has a very different β€˜feel’ on each side of it, one being a lot more safe and smart and the other just sort of obnoxious and having little decorum. Nice broad paths for cycling down or roller blading and the canal side of the park is fantastic! Some great sunsets can be witnessed here and the bottling lake is a good shout on a warm sunny day. The toilets are shut fairly early in the evening.

Nice and peaceful. Beautiful views, lots of amenities, spacious and relaxing. A lovely spot in Highgate area for a walk or picnic or even parties, plus there is a sense of community by locals. Love the Lauderdale House and the tennis courts too!

This park is well kept, spacious with beautiful vegetation, ressembles to an oxygen oase at the top side of a small hill. It is also convenient to take children for a stroll, or dogs for an exercize in the open air.

Beautiful Park with few ponds and playground for kids. Dogs friendly. It's fab place for running as it has many hills and it's big enough not to get bored. Lovely cafe on it's grounds as well as separate (clean!!!) toilets.

Very cute park - it was my first time here and though I stayed for a very short time, I would come back again as it had that homely feel of a park. Nice greenery, great trees - it had an abundance of flair and looked like a smart park. It's in Highgate after all! Will come back again.

Lovely park with gentle rolling paths that wind through trees, open grass and along ponds. The cafe does a good coffee and pastries. And here’s a thing. The park is level with the top of St Paul’s, check the picture.

Lovely place to walk your dog or just go for a stroll or barbecue. All grounds are very well maintained and there is the bonus of a cafe to take a rest with a cold or hot drink! We go here at least 3 times a week, there is usually ample parking outside too.

One of my favourite parks in London. It's hilly, so it's more picturesque. There is also a tiny pond with a variety of ducks and birds. There are a lot of places to sit, either on the ground or just on the bench. It's also situated next to the Highgate cemetery.

I love this place very peaceful & relaxing & beautiful. Pathways tarmac but grass areas muddy except in spring/summer like all parks unfortunately, your shoes will get muddy if you go off the paths. Toilets in Lauderdale House & also in another building, get to (Β£10 entry) Highgate Cemetery through here.

About a 15 min walk up the hill from Highgate tube and towards the far end of the village Waterlow is a great urban park with lots of space for exercising your 2 or 4 legged friends. Ponds, BBQ areas and a lovely cafe at Lauderdale House which is often host to local artisan markets. If you look carefully you can also find a marker point for the highest point in London!

Walked through by sheer fluke en route to Highgate cemetery. Was a beautiful sunny day so was full of groups of families and friends all picnicing and enjoying the weather. We passed a pretty lake and a childrens playground , before we reached the exit adjacent to the cemetery entrance .

Lovely park which has all the serene and beauty of some of the other parks in London but in a quieter, less well known spot! Really nice cafe too! Hidden gem!

Beautiful park with amazing views over the city and St Paul's. Best to go on week days and weekends in good weather can get busy.

Love this park. Has beautiful scenery overlooking parts of London. Such splendour within London away from the Royal parks. Plenty of benches to sit on, the greenery or use the cafe.

Waterlow House - An excellent spacious adaptable venue for all sorts of events and social occasions from children's parties to family gatherings and business meetings. A huge positive is the very helpful staff, on hand and keen to ensure that your event runs as arranged. The inhouse catering company is another added bonus. Highly recommended.

This is definitely an underrated park because it is not one of the royal parks. Less people, nice gardens and so green. There are many benches where you can sit down, enjoy the park and take a little break. The pond is nice and as well the garden next to the restaurant with the fountain. And you're close to Highgate Cemetery. There's also one hint. If you want to have a look at the cemetery but don't want to pay, just walk along the fence and you can get some sights of the cemetery.

A very historic park, set back on Highgate Hill, with a cafe, several ponds, mature planting and nice well paved paths to walk round. Cycling is not permitted in this park. It has amazing views towards the City, and in one spot, you can even see St. Pauls Cathedral. Its on a very steep gradient.

Really peaceful and relaxing park. There are plenty of benches and trees, you can sit in their shades or sunbathe on the grass. It's bigger than it looks. Great place.
