Food is very tasty like the others, however I ordered the Large size German doner kebab and it came only half of the box, not once but twice at the same time, if I knew that I could take the 50 min waiting time and go to Watford and take a full box and eat what I expected, thanks You can do better 🍻

We ordered the cheesy box and there was barely any cheese! Paid extra for the cheese, that was the main part. All boxes came with barely any cheese. Portion is very small too. Not worth getting the large (1cm difference) and still the same amount as the smaller box. Very disappointed- see pics. Appalling. They’re not cheap either. Paid for delivery plus fees.

If you are after a doner experience but forgot to dress-down for the occasion, then definitely go here. You will not feel out-of-place in your designer shoes. Most importantly, doners here are as good as they get. The restaurant itself is designed very pleasantly, with prevalence of darker tones - strangely conducive to intricate inner workings of the digestive system. Space is cozy and small. Two tables are recessed into the back and could provide some excellent private moments with your kebab. But there are also opportunities to put your meal on display in a more open area, or even sit at the large window taunting hungry passersby with your delicious doner.

For the past 2 years, I have been ordering food from German Doner and have always found their food to be delicious with amazing service whenever I went there. However, recently I have noticed a severe decline in their service and quality of food. I have complained numerous times through Uber delivery about the poor packaging and the soggy, melted food I have received, but it seems like no one is listening. To make matters worse, I found a strange creature inside my sandwich today. I am extremely disappointed and questioning the seriousness of their business. Dear business owner, as you profit from this venture, please ensure that you prioritize the well-being of your paying customers. Avoid shutting down accounts for trivial reasons.

I had doner box with chips i paid extra 2.50 to get more meat but it was usual doner box and there was a melted clear plastic inside the doner. I hope i didn't eat any peace off plastic accidentally..

Surprisingly good! Stopped at what looks to be a new shop for a quick lunch break. Nice décor and with quick service touch stations, was a promising start. The place and tables looked very clean for busy midday. Had a large classic Donner sandwich and beloved had a Donner box with chips. With drinks cost about £17. Typical fast food chain price these days. Both dishes were fairly large - chips (for large meal) is too small IMO. Should be more generous... The food was very tasty for fast food. It may not be the typical British street doner but with salad mix and default sauces it was perfect to our preference. The place was getting very busy but the staff (7 people in fairly small shop) seems to be coping well. Would definitely try again.

The food is very fresh, bursting with flavours! Everything is well balanced, the meat, the sauces, the salad. They make it fresh the second you order it and serve asap. The service is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The staff is super chill and friendly and the restaurant gives off a very chill but posh feeling, especially with the brand colours, an equal luxurious mixture of orange and black with grey highlights. Dheeraj is my favourite member of staff in this place, he considers customer satisfaction as his number 1 priority and checks up on us asking if everything is ok and if we need anything else. He has a good sense of humour too, always here to lighten up the mood. All members of staff are amazing but he is especially very considerate and friendly. I never feel like I’m out of place here, whether I’m wearing a basic outfit or my designer clothes, this place has it all! Also mentioned that they offer 15% discount after 10PM in store. Definitely coming here again, you guys just got yourselves a new permanent customer! Hope this place stays forever ❤️

Ordered two beef doner boxes + Fries and the staff were friendly and attentive. The portions could have been slightly more and bit less greasy hence 4 star and not 5. Will definitely come back. So keep up the gr8 customer service.

The inside and out side of the shop is beautifully decorated, very modern but also a tint of orange here and there so it gives you a warm feeling of welcomeness. In addition there is a glass which shows the kitchen in which they cook the food, so that you know how your food is prepared. Also they have very friendly staff and I was welcomed so kindly that I felt that I had known them for years. And finally the food. The waiting time was very short and the food is simply unexplainable, it was just bursting with flavour and with every bite I loved the food even more and not only that but also it was a good amount of food, not too much not too little but just right! Strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit!

The food is always fresh and mouth-waterting. Super friendly customer service! This is my favourite fast food place, always has clean tables. Provides wet wipes along with food which is very helpful, haven’t seen any other place be so thoughtful of their customers. Overall, this place is PERFECT, exactly how a fast food place should be!

Dheeraj was a very good employee who made me feel welcome. When the food came out it was too a very high standard. I got the chicken kebab and it was very tasty. Nice pita bread served with good salad inside. (A nice sample in the end definitely tipped off the experience). Will be returning very soon.

Great service and delicious food. This establishment serves top quality kebabs etc. Sort of place you would be happy to try all the items on the menu. You can watch the food being prepared and cooked behind a screen. All the salad items etc are fresh. Went to sit down at a table and the guy cleaned an already clean table for us, so yes covid friendly. I will be returning even if I do have to travel 12 miles, in my opinion 10/10!!

Just ordered from this place but a lot of meat pieces are very dry (not able to chew them) wont order again. Avoid this place

Tasty addition to Borehamwood food scene. I was in and out in 30 mins for eat-in so service wasn’t as slow as the previous reviews mentioned. The minus points are: music is too loud for the small setting; the complimentary hand towel is heavily scented (though going the extra mile to care for customers is appreciated); plastic fork and plastic containers - 3 separate sauces come with 3 separate plastic containers for each meal. It’s 2021 now, plastic is no longer chic.

The best customer service I have had in any German Doner Kebab. I usually avoid GDK due to the arrogant staff, but this was such a great restaurant. Wonderful staff and great food. Parking on street outside will definitely be coming again.

They have really gone down hill- i had to change my review. They only half fill the doner box on a large order and majority is salad - they have become careless. I ordered 5 boxes last time and all 5 half full! We went in and complained and they fixed it but happened once too many times. When you go in and collect they fill up but they dont care about delivery and its not cheap to only get a couple strips of meat. Did tell them about it a few times but they don't fix up or listen to the customers. Ordering from watford for delivery now - much better!

Wanted to try this for a while and finally got the chance, food was amazing, really tasty and high quality. The venue itself was spotless, very clean and comfortable. But the thing that really made the experience perfect was the customer service, usually in fast food places they hand you your food and send you off on your way, but the woman serving us today (Sohail? From the reciept) was lovely, was patient while we figured out the menu, made recommendations and offered us a complimentary taster of the spring rolls which were amazing as well! 5 stars all round, we will return soon!

The food is tasty but there is always something missing or less than the required amount, I ordered with my meal cheesy fries and that what I get of the cheese sauce and it’s quite expensive for the whole meal…

Me and my boyfriend came in and the service we received was amazing, we were welcomed so well and since it was our first time eating here the menu was very well explained to us, the guy that served us was called Dheeraj

Loved the experience in this branch. The ambience was great and quality of food was superb. The staff was amazing Elena and Prachi gave a warm welcome and served us on the table. Best people in London 💯

Good kebabs they were freshly made and tasty . As it was a place I had visited for the first time with my family the reception from the staff lacked enthusiasm , not service with a smile and that alone prompted us to take out instead of eat in. With no other customer in at the time the staff made no attempt to navigate us through their menu . However on a second visit that evening I turned up with friends & their kids who wanted a take out and a gentleman not in uniform was most helpful.

Can never go wrong with this place. A must-try for someone in or near the area and some of the best takeaway fries I have ever had. Recommend the boss box, or doner wrap, with cheesy fries & the paradise punch tango
