My partner was suffering from an allergic reaction, and we needed to see a doctor asap to help get medicine and treatment. We were 2 minutes late to our appointment. As we arrived in the empty waiting room we heard the doctor having a casual chat with his receptionist. We went in, the doctor quickly went into his room and shut his door. The receptionist said "you're too late book again". We explained the allergic reaction and she said "then call 111 or re-book". The doctor had no patient in his room. Quite frankly, hiding from your patients and refusing to see them when they are suffering is pitiful and shameful behaviour for a doctor. Do not use this practitioner.

Unprofessional, uncaring… this is about an experience at King’s Cross. The waiting room is like a broomstick cupboard. Patients aren’t wearing masks. Whatever any one person has, everybody has. They stuck a small old fashioned radio on to provide some sort of privacy to the person in the consultation room, otherwise we’d hear everything. It felt like a scene from a movie, seriously. The doctor was 20 minutes late, then opened the door and called the name of the person after me. I had to intervene and he then corrected himself. No real apology for the delay, then proceeded to telling me that I’ve got nothing. And I should wait more before seeing a doctor. The number of weeks kept changing. First it was a week.. I said I’d been feeling bad for over two weeks now. He then said it’s ok, it’s really three weeks before I should see anyone. And that anyway, what I have takes about 8 weeks to clear anyway. So soldier on… walk it off…. Not to mention he suggested taking ibuprofen, and also brandy, which is downright dangerous. Googled some sort of mouth gargle that I should use, but didn’t write the name down for me, and sure as daylight, I forgot it as soon as he ushered me out. The receptionist took my credit card and typed the details in her computer - not a very reassuring method, but they had no proper card machine. I was out in 6 minutes, feeling ridiculed, not taken seriously, and like I had just been mugged. Even I were a hypochondriac, I deserved to be reassured and taken seriously, because I was there on my own money, and not wasting the public purse.

I was 6 minutes late to my appointment and there were no bells/rings outside the building. So I banged the door in desperation as they told me they would cancel my appointment if I was 5 minutes late. The building receptionist was extremely rude and told me off nastily at me for banging. I was really sick but they have absolutely no sympathy and seemed happy to turn people away, the clinic receptionist told me to leave, and booked me for noon the next day. They wouldn’t even let me sit in the clinic to wait for my uber. The next day, since there was a tube strike, I arrived 2 minutes late, which is well within policy. The clinic receptionist told me to leave and someone would tell me why. I got a call to tell me I had to be transferred to a different clinic because I was “abusive”, well forgive me for trying to get my remaining 8 minutes of the 15 minute appointment time. I asked the caller why couldn’t she have called me BEFORE I came to the clinic, and waste my time and money coming here to be turned away. She said it wouldn’t have mattered because of their 5 minute policy. I was 2 minutes late because of the strike, so it was a LIE that they could turn me away. Gaslighting. I have a suspicion that the nasty clinic receptionist waited for me to come to the appointment and called their main office AFTERWARDS to turn me away as a way to make me waste money and time ON PURPOSE. They could have just called me 2 hours ago, at 10am, to tell me they want to transfer me to a different clinic, but they didn’t. This was done on purpose to humiliate their patients. Would give 0 stars if I could. Horrible clinic, horrible staff who want to inconvenience their patients for fun.

After calling 3 times to confirm the time tests turnaround time (4-6 hours) , went in for a set of blood tests. 2 days later it appeared that half the samples were NOT received by the lab and we were meant to do re do it again. Ok, we re did tests again, next day we find out that 2 samples were NOT delivered to the lab AGAIN. working on getting a refund now. AVOID this clinic at all costs if you care about your time and upcoming commitments such as medical operations.

I arrived 8 minutes late to my appointment and partly was due to struggling to find the place and was calling the reception so they were aware. I was very ill and the doctor refused to see me as I was late, I was sat down unable to talk and my girlfriend was crying. I’ve seen others complaining of the same issue and there needs to be more flexibility especially for special circumstances. I was told to go to their Waterloo clinic and in fairness I was not charged for the second appointment (which I appreciate) but when I got there the doctor saw me and called me an ambulance straight away. If the first gp had seen me I would have been in hospital an hour and a half earlier and it could have made a big difference. Stop running the clinic like a formal business and be a health clinic with compassion, it’s inhumane.

Booked my weekend appointment for the Kenalog Hay fever injection which I've had before. The doctor was very nice but wouldn't administer the injection because I had a Covid vaccination 3 weeks ago and it needs to be 4 weeks. It doesn't tell you anywhere on the website that you can't have it for that reason and the form you complete online wasn't available . It was only when I was there physically that I could complete it. That cost me £80 plus travel from out of London. It needs to be much more prominent on the website so that you don't waste your time and money.

Such an unprofessional practice centre! I went there with long-lived coughs and chest tightness. I was told to see a GP that day because my problem was concerning. But they just gave me antibiotics (charged me twice as pharmacies) and did something wrong that I missed my insurance completely! After hours of admin work, I have to go to NHS to be referred to a specialist.

Appalling and ableist staff, had a man in reception shout the directions at me and roll his eyes. i then had my appointment switched around to the one after my own, only to have it then cancelled right in front of me, after having waited for 20 minutes in the waiting room, where I was told my appointment would be straight after those before me. The GP wouldn’t even look me in the eyes or speak to me, after I had been crying my eyes out, as my situation is a matter of emergency. Im struggling to even get out of bed, breathe and walk. Now being charged the full price of an appointment. . Travelled from East London for no good reason, and now only feel worse. I should’ve stayed at home all together. How can anyone be so heartless and uncaring? Makes me question the motives of someone in a position like that, seems to me that these people care more about money than helping other human beings who are in need. Shame on you.

A fairly unpleasant experience. My appointment was cancelled with no notice, as I was walking in. This was due to some IT issue. I complained to the abrupt receptionist who couldn’t have been less bothered or apologetic - whilst the GP sat in the consultation room, apparently unable to provide consultations. I had to see a doctor as I was flying the next day. After a struggle I was sent to an even dingier consulting room in the City, that afternoon. Whilst the receptionist was more pleasant, the consulting room was a disaster. It was untidy, unprofessional and just not pleasant to be in. Because I’d my job, I fly in and out of London frequently and at short notice. I’ve used several private GP services and this was by far the most amateur and unprofessional. I was shocked that these people are run or affiliated by Spire. Based on my experience I would actively avoid. There is much better care out there with other providers and even run down GP surgeries are more comfortable than this place. Avoid.

Went to get my HGV medical done here, booking on the phone was great but the doctor had a horrible attitude and told me off for parts of the paperwork that I had missed. Felt uncomfortable in there the whole time and couldn't wait to get out.

Total Scam of money! I had a mucous cough for a week and I decided to book an appointment at the London Doctors Clinic Kings Cross branch, they phone me on the day of appointment saying because I had COVID symptoms (even tho it wasn't, cause covid only triggers dry cough) they can't offer me an in person appointment, and could only do a video call. I cancelled the appointment right away on their booking system and through the person who called me. Supposedly I should get a refund back for part of my deposit, I paid 45 pounds for deposit. (even 15 pounds get deduct for "administrative charge" cause I cancelled with 24 hours before the appointment) But they told me because I had Covid-symptoms I should never have booked at the first place? As they asked all clients with covid-symptoms not to book in (I had a negative lateral flow test for a week), so they can't offer me a refund at all Scam practice legit! Stay away from this clinic if possible!

Went to get a fit to work examination for work abroad in the US, I had a great experience with the representatives over email and the receptionist at the King’s Cross branch. However the doctor I was seen by had very poor bedside manner, pushing and pulling me around and not asking to touch me. She didn’t listen to what I was saying about my previous medical conditions and that she couldn’t ‘believe’ me as there was no proof. She said that I had booked the wrong appointment as she wouldn’t be able to do everything on my employers form in the 15 minutes I was advised to book. I asked, when booking the appointment, if I needed to bring anything - to which they responded no - when in fact I needed to bring my full medical record and immunisation record for her to fully sign off my form. I needed, among other things, a full blood count and my pulse and blood pressure to be taken. I felt she did the necessary checks and procedures in the wrong order, as if she was rushing. When I went to pay, I was almost over charged by £40 (being a student I can’t afford the mistake) and then they don’t tell you when they add VAT so the final cost will be more than they tell you! Be warned! Overall, very unimpressed and will not be going back to the King’s Cross branch!!

pcr next day 8pm travel test was 8 hours late. to make matters worse, I was not able to access it even though I advised that my details were wrongly entered on their system. also, they dont reply to emais even if the matter is urgent..piece of advise: use a more reliable provider.

Seemed very efficient, although I was not able to submit the form I had been requested to complete online. Easy to find. A charming and reassuring doctor, easy to talk to, and I was given appropriate medication. And this visit spared me from going to A&E - which does not need to be treating small issues like mine. Easy to book with instant confirmation of appointment.

A total disaster, I left disappointed and went to the private clinic next door where I received a proper consultation and treatment which made me feel better from the day after, while the doctor of this clinic wanted to leave me in state I was for 4 week. STAY AWAY

Very pleased with the ease of making an appointment and minimal waiting time, especially for inner city London. My GP on the day was very knowledgeable and nice to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Doctor was attentive and courteous. When I was unable to see a GP with the NHS short-notice, I was able to get an appointment with this office. The doctor I saw is a new addition to the practice; she was excellent.

Miserable receptionist, and doctor with a fake concern. Prescribed medication not available in pharmacies, and pharmacy was unable to call the clinic to change the prescription due to doctors stamp being out of ink and phone number not showing on prescription. After walking in pain to 2 different local Boots pharmacies, and then another 4 different places I just gave up in trying to find the pharmacy which carries the stock of medication prescribed, because none did. So all a lot of my time waisted. I give some stars due to appointment availability the next day. Will I be using their service in the future - NO. I rather go to A&E and wait 4 hours, because I will spend the same amount of time I spent looking for medication prescribed by this Private GP service.

Pro: The doctor was very nice and I didn't have to wait long. Con: They ordered the wrong blood test. They offered for me to come back in to have my blood taken again, but I asked for a refund instead. They refunded the money for the blood test, but not the "consultation" (= them taking my blood for the wrong test), so around half of what I paid. I won't come back. * Edit after response that "there are 2 methods of measuring Vitamin D" and you "were able to provide [me] with a Vitamin D test result": I ordered a test for measuring my "25-Hydroxyvitamin" levels, and what was measured are my "1,25-Dihydroxy" Vitamin D levels. Those aren't two methods to measure the same thing, they're measuring *different things* (different metabolites of Vitamin D in the body). The levels of 1,25-Dihydroxy Vitamin D have little or no relationship to vitamin D stores, and the correct test to assess a Vitamin D deficiency is to test 25-Hydroxyvitamin levels. The test result I got is completely useless for me, and I don't appreciate the response implying that my review didn't correctly reflect what happened here, and I also don't appreciate you trying to mislead me that these tests measure the same thing. Mistakes happen, and I can even understand that you don't want to refund money for the part where I spoke to a doctor. But you did *not* provide me with the test I paid for. Reducing my review to 1 star.

The place charges a large deposit upfront and refuses to return it in case of a refund request. Pricing is intentionally vague. The total cost is not clearly marked on the booking. £89 is just the consultation fee. The quality of consultation, according to other reviewers, is also deficient. Beaware.

Every doctor is different obviously and I had one mediocre experience during which the doctor didn't examine me thoroughly and one smooth experience with a more caring doctor. I like the fact that appointments are available quickly but throughout the years the prices have increased a lot and you can get a similar service at a lower price.

The lines of communication leading up to the medical at the Waterloo branch were excellent. On the day I arrived early and the doctor was able to see me early which made the visit a no fuss one with charming and polite staff from the receptionist to the doctor. Very professional and they made me at ease for my examination.

I've been to these guys a lot over the years and they're always great. The doctors listen and are high quality. Quick and easy to use. Easy to get an appointment. I'd use these guys over any other private doctor.

When I arrived to the clinic with my sick 5-year-old, the door of the building was closed, there is no bell or sign, there is another clinic next door, I assumed it was there and approached, of course then I was directed back and I waited for some answer at the door. Because of all this I was 7 minutes late for the appointment, I was still within the 15 minutes allowed, but the doctor did not agree to see me and did not agree to return the money I deposited in advance. In my opinion, there is an opacity here that does not suit a medical person, certainly when there is a very sick child who needs help. I do not recommend this service or clinic.

The Dr. Irene Asamoah was very friendly and patient at the same time with our daughter. She immediately found out the issue with her and helped us with the right treatment. Very good!

The Doctor I saw, didn’t speak good English, didn’t understand what i was saying. I asked for a referral, then checked the information written and it wasn’t accurate. She tried to get a blood test and failed, she inserted the needle aggressively causing me a huge scar on my arm! Saying i had no obvious veins! I had so many blood tests in my life! Not a single doctor/nurse had an issue with it. At this point I’m not even sure she’s a real doctor. I don’t recommend this place. It’s not worth your money.

I made an appointment at this clinic because of persistent knee pain. The clinic is small, with only two doctors and a receptionist. I was met by Dr Megha Pancholi who was very welcoming and patient, asking me carefully about my condition. I was nervous at first as it was my first time to see a doctor in the UK and I was worried that I would not understand the medical terminology, but Dr Megha Pancholi patiently explained the pathology to me and gave me a good experience.

I wasn’t planning on leaving a review. But you invited one by email….. I turned up on time, to my appointment at Kings Cross, only to be told that their systems were down and I had to be rebooked for the next day. No apology and a poor attitude. I was then told an appointment was free at Bank - if I could there in twenty minutes. Again. No apology. I paid £20 for a cab to get to Bank. The Bank surgery is tiny, untidy and overall a complete mess. It looks like a surgery held in a broom cupboard. It was cramped, dirty, untidy and unprofessional. The doctors bedside matter left a lot to be desired. Based on my experience, even more chaotic than the NHS, so best entirely avoided.

I was early for my appointment but could not find the place. So I called the receptionist as was advised by the text message sent earlier. The recep. did not have a clue where her own office was and did not even know that the bridge next to her was, in fact, London Bridge. Finally managed to get there and was shown the toilet to produce a urine sample. The toilet was very dirty and, for a clinic, clearly lacked all the hygiene. However, on the upside I was seen to by a Philipino nurse who was extremely pleasant. So that went some way to make up for the very poor experience of the whole organisation.

Unlike current NHS GP system, I was able to book an appointment online at a convenient time for me (I booked at 4am and chose an appointment at 14:45 later that day, a Saturday). Appointment started on time. Doctor seemed fine. Cost was £105 for a weekend appointment, so not cheap!

I normally come to the Kings cross branch every year for a blood test. However on this occasion the receptionist could not comprehend reading numbers off my bank card and used a different card on the system. If your staff members cannot read a bank card information then you have a problem. Will not be coming back again

Easy too book and saw a pleasant GP who issued referral straight away. Would recommend. The only minus and a serious downfall for this surgery is that is placed in a secured building with other business and complete lack of sign posting on the street or a business sign on the building etc makes it super difficult to find and risks you being late for appointments if looking for the place for ages. This seriously needs to be addressed.

  • 5/5 Benjamin A. 1 year ago on Google
A very warm welcome by the receptionist. The attending nurse was very thorough and showed professionalism. She gave appropriate advice and recommendations for future visit.

  • 3/5 Janet T. 1 year ago on Google
The place was not signposted at all and there was no way to get into the building. We went next door and a security guard there told us we would just have to knock. Eventually someone from the building let us in. The place was very oily with a heater blasting the place to a furnace., The doctor was friendly and efficient but not the kind of private medicine experience I would expect. There are so many reviews saying something similar and yet nothing is done to make appropriate changes. Not good enough

Very mis-leading service. I was under the impression I was booking and paying for an x ray. I clicked through from this to the booking page. It was in face just for a pre x-ray consultation with a GP, which cost £90! I was assured by the receptionist that there would be good availability for the x ray after I had met with the GP. The consultation started late and I was charged an extra £115 for the x ray in advance of it being organised. I phoned the imaging department connected to the clinic and was informed that they had no appointments. Avoid!

I was able to get a same day appointment at short notice. The GP saw me on time, was friendly and professional and was able to prescribe me medication at the end of the consultation. There was a slight problem with figuring out how to get into the building but aside from this my overall experience was good.

The lady at the main reception when you walk in is really rude and awful attitude I arrived 10mins before my appointment as it mentioned on the email I arrived and she said that no doctors are available at 9 you have to come back there no waiting area either ! Over all the doctors are good!

horrible service I was wearing crotchets and arrived 4 minute late and they cancelled my appointment i had to use emergency services of NHS because of that. very inhumane treatment i do not recommend this place. I been in other place same brand other day and the doctor was recommending to google some diet for my treatment instead give me the diet himself. absolutely disappointed never gonna use more this service.
