Went to a wedding reception room lovely staff very friendly food was very good too and the beer aswell

Good selection 0f beer's and wines reasonably priced, group's on at a regular basis

Recently attended a wedding reception, people were given plates of food with items missing, no mashed potatoes, no roast potatoes, no gravy, no stuffing balls. Vegan option extremely poor, 2 cheap sausages, 4 very small roast potatoes, peas, carrots and less gravy than I could spit, there was less food on the plates than the children got and don’t forget about the evening buffet, the only thing that was available to someone that doesn’t eat meat or dairy was over cooked onion bhajis and vegetable pakoras..

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Michelle for a fantastic day from start to finish it went without a hitch. To anyone considering a venue this is it. Buffet whether hot or cold was amazing considering all health and safety requirements as well as allergens. Steve and I would like to thank you and your staff for everything. My family, friends who travelled from far and wide said what a venue. No thousands needed for this. Hopefully a good profit on that day with the bar…

Great to hire out for functions, been here for several occasions and have hired it myself for my birthday party in December. Also does firework displays and other events. A lovely local venue!

Attended a christening here the room looked lovely but all the white drapes need to me taken down for a wash some was yellow some white all different it needs a big wash. All I heard was the manager moaning about things and being very unhelpful the food was OK nothing special. The toilets they are dirty full of damp locks on toliet was no good. Honestly I feel so sorry for the staff that day they was doing everything in there power to help that day but the big bad manager was horrible to them the way she spoke to the staff the staff at one point couldn't even find her she's just disappeared. Not run very good the manage needs some people skills and needs to clean and wash up.

Attended for a christening room is old and tired buffet ok not enough for seconds didn't spoil the function

Attended a function here recently. I liked it. The function room was a decent size and well laid out. Bar well stocked with decent menu too for snacking (nuggets and chips etc). Hardworking pleasant staff. Nice outdoor area. All in all not bad at all

Took my grandchildren here for the firework display was fantastic the grandchildren loved the fireworks and hot dogs too it was very safe to watch the fireworks and well organised we we'll do this again .

The room which to wedding reception was really nice the picture window view was amazing. The only thing that let it down was when the guest turned up the wedding party had not arrived & the room in the bar was not big enough for the amount of guest that was there..that was the only downside...

Brilliant venue. Visited in 19/2/22 for a family wedding do. The function room was decorated beautifully. On this occasion they were understaffed but everyone did an amazing job under pressure, the meal was delicious and the bar staff were excellent. Added bonus - Cornish Rattler on tap!

We went to my boyfriend's son's wedding reception here. The room was decorated beautifully, we had a sit down meal which was delicious, I would recommend this place to anybody for a celebration. Xx

Hired the smaller function room for a 40th birthday. Communication from booking to the event was great. Everyone who attended had said how they'd enjoyed the evening. Only fault of my own may I add I'd suggest going for more than the silver buffet package as small even for 30 people. But this was my error so cant fault the staff.

Bar is a bit quiet and "old man style" tap room but the main room is lovely, friendly staff and food is great. Recommend the Sunday carvery especially the cauliflower cheese. Yum. Went to the fireworks display this year for first time and have to admit I was blown away. Fabulous!

Love this place. Staff so friendly food taste lovely. They cater for gluten free which is brilliant for me. Id recommend anyone to come here for carvery n there's soup for starters too. If you still have room their choice of desserts are to die for. Xx

Superb venue, very affordable prices and terrific staff. Went there for Sunday lunch, we felt like we were regulars by the personal touch that we received. We were offered 'complementary' soup which was delicious. The Sunday lunch carvery was probably as good as a carvery can get. The dining room and the scenery from it couldn't be better. A really marvelous experience.

Attended the Park View on Saturday for the opening event. The place was well equipped with sanitisers and a one way system to adhere to the guidelines. They have a great drinks menu and it was a fantastic day had by all. They have plenty of outdoor space to accommodate everyone, will definitely be returning.

Brilliant little venue, came to a wedding on the 19th of March 2022. To say the kitchen staff were short staffed the meal was amazing also the evening buffet was too. Great staff and great service brilliant evening at a great place

We arranged a 21st birthday for my son In the smaller of the two function rooms. It was a brilliant night, Mandi oversaw the event and made it a fabulous night for all! Highly recommend - food was supplied with the event and everyone enjoyed the roast pork sandwiches and roast potatoes. Definitely recommended!
