Open space with beautiful wide vistas. Undulating grass covered land, mature trees, historic buildings and a welcoming pub. Wild birds and grazing horses can be seen and heard as you travel around in this absolutely charming village. There are picnic benches and a free car park. Please note - There are no public toilets and not enough litter bins in this area.

Beautiful view, some lovely places to sit and reflect and my boy loved his time up there.

Great outdoor space for walking the dog, also a good spot for model flying.

Marvelous place to walk and have some fun, have an small parking but is good, saw a lot of horses pacing in this place really friendly animals.

I often come here for the peace and quiet and the many paths you can walk on! It is easy accessible from many areas too

As somewhere to park overnight, peacefully, with a pub nearby it was ideal. Free, no facilities but horses wandering on the heath, people walking their dogs. Nothing to grumble about.

Great morning watching various kites being flown, it could have done with a little more breeze to help get more kites up and flying.

Lovely relaxing place for all the family, have a picnic or taken a pint at the local Kings Arms, or sometimes you may see some classic cars!!

Beautiful place to sit and chill. Could do with a cafe in addition to the pub (which is very good) Watch out for little gifts left by antisocial dog owners.

Lovely little area to walk the dog, and grab a drink at the pub.

Has two beer gardens, one in enclosed area around the back and another to the side of the building not to forget the huge open common area to the front. The building is old with several small rooms and a main bar, which has my fav White Rat on draft. Beer prices are £££ but location makes up for it.
